elvellon Solarn elvellon Solarn Thing is, a funeral is a sad thing. We don't want to be sad for Narf. He'd like us to be happy. We should remember him for all the great things he's done for us and party. That would honor his memory much better than a funeral service. Actually, a funeral is just a ceremony to mark the death of a person. So, it can be a fun party and still be a funeral. So a happy funeral? Can that be done? The fact of the funeral itself will remind people of the sadness. I've had happy funerals, but I guess everyone just hated the relative or something. Regardless, a party in his name would still be a funeral because it would be marking his death, wouldn't it? However, it would still be a party meant for everyone to enjoy themselves. However, it would still be a funeral. So is a happy funeral possible without everyone hating the relative? Yes, I do believe it is. And I doubt the word funeral will make everyone insta-sad. True, I guess.

It has connections with a funeral, but it can be a happy occassion if we wish.
