"So rather they cannot make up their minds? Psychotic..." she wondered what all this meant but these creatures seemed to intrigue her. Curiousity perhaps since she had never met one. But did she want to meet one that was so cruelly talked about. This interested her and perhaps it showed through her eyes. She did not know, she could not see herself.

Helaku's brow furrowed in thought. "I'm not sure... Rather, I think that they then have an additional personality. There is who they were before the curse, and then there is the creature that emerges when the curse takes control of them. But I can only guess that they are also changed by their curse, so even when they are 'normal'...well, they still have the skin on, but as normal as they can be...they are still...off." He shrugged. "I guess it depends who they were before the curse. A formerly good one might act decent in 'normal' form, while one that was formerly bad would still be wretched."

"Ah," she thought, poor creatures to be cursed with such a thing. She pondered at it for awhile and then looked back up to Helaku, "Thats a rather dreary subject, perhaps we could discuss something more proper with a brisk walk on a nice day?" she suggested. She needed to stretch her legs no matter how short they were. Her emerald orbs peered to Helaku's awaiting an answer, perhaps he did not want to go for a walk. Who knew, she had stopped trying to figure out what others were thinking long ago.

"Of course," Helaku agreed, all too happy to move away from a subject which had brought such hurt to one of his herd-mates. Halloween had staunchly insisted on continuing her relationship at first, but even she had seen the folly of the decision when Lightning had attempted to kill her. "Hmm. Well, there are certainly many new Soquili about. I know few now, and haven't seen many of those I once enjoyed the company of when I was younger."

She stopped remembering Kail and her uncle Zephy and the others, her heart seemed to stop. "You are right, I have seen many a new but none of the past and it seems I miss them so. I will search them out on a later date." she thought of her mother and brother. Her sister even more, oh boy this was going to be fun. Not so much searching, but seeing them again thats always nice. "Whom were some of the ones you had met as a foal?"

Helaku tilted his head. "It's hard to remember too many I saw as I foal, I know I saw my brother Dyre more back then though. But when I got a bit older...Chaos, Rikka, Eloran." He shrugged lightly. "Perhaps it's harder to keep in touch as one gets older."

"Perhaps, though I wish it wasn't so." she eyed him and the changing sun. How long had they been talking, he was nice just like she remembered his mother. "Do you see your family often?" she asked trying to spark the conversation further. His company was more enjoyable than Ares most of the time which could get out of hand so nice talks like this were always welcome.

"Not as often as I would like to," Helaku replied, ears drooping a little. "My parents are...reclusive, I guess, and my brother has his own mate and family, his own life." He looked up at the sky, taking in a deep breath. "I hope Olathe and I have a family someday, but I know it might take much longer before I am so blessed."

"I am the same way with my brother and mother, he has found a mate as well." she looked to him, "Nah, I'm sure you and your mate will have a family in no time." she winked. "The heavens like to bless the good hearted more than the evil, as my father likes to say." she smiled. Her tail flickered, she acted like a little sister whom was very much a tom-boy to many soquili. Perhaps it was because she was 'cute' and her small size did no help made ones think she needed protecting. But she did not mind, she liked being close to friends, all was well.

"Well, we haven't been successful just yet, though there is plenty of time. Not for lack of trying," Helaku added quickly, with a sheepish laugh. His cheeks burned, to come so close to speaking about such intimacy with someone he hardly knew! Recovering, he tilted his head at Cynara curiously. "You speak little of yourself there, miss...what of you? That is, if you don't mind my asking."

"Thats 'cause I am not interesting sir." she looked to him as he blushed it was quite comical of him trying to explain himself but she contained herself. "In the love life I haven't done quite well, actually." she thought he had done some intimacy so she thought she might, "I had one, but he left me for another. And then he tried to come back because she left him...karma does happen I guess. But other than that I'm mostly like everyone's little sister. Thats what most say, but I haven't a problem with it. Family is the most important thing these days, don't you agree?"

Helaku grinned, a little mischeivously. "Leave it to others to decide what they find interesting about you, wouldn't you say? I hardly think I'm the most interesting Soquili about, but you seem to be intrigued."
The grin faded from his face as she continued. "Oh...my apologies. I'm not so sure about karma...nevermind, it's in the past." He shook his head, not wanting to delve that far into his past. Not now that he had a loyal, loving mate.

"That's true, indeed it is." Suddenly Helaku became aware of a feeling that'd been nagging at him...that he recognized this mare, somehow. From somewhere in that past that he tried not to dig into... Wait.
...Holy crap.
How hadn't he recognized this mare? She'd been there when he met Olathe, when he and she had spoken with Cynara, Rahu, Aruna.. "I'm sorry," he blurted out, shaking his head. "I should have recognized you sooner. And if you don't remember yet...you ran into Rahu once, didn't you? Not long before those strange pale two-leggers visited?"

Her eyes widened, remembering she hadn't just recognized him from Delphia but she had met him before. She let out a huffing laugh, "I remember now, I couldn't have been in a fair mood if Rahu is around." she shook her head. "He's horrid." she stuck her pink tongue out slightly. "Well...its been awhile since we have seen each other."
