Okay, now I'm caught up.
Pirates and ninja are overdone...I like the science fair idea, though. We could have a failed science experiment avatar contest!

As for prizes, we so far have:
7k on Kattekispus - the financial mule.
Primus is willing to donate 20k for this project.
And if this exceeds my expectations, I'm willing to sell my bani clips and use quite a bit of the gold from that for prizes

Hobo's would be good seeing as their are plenty of Hobo items.
And hummm Science Experiment gone wrong, that's certainly a interesting one, that's rather diverse

We should have items as prizes too.

I'm thinking that maybe we will have to move the event if we are gonna have an art contest.
As for people paying entries, I'm against that. That might scare people away. And that's the least we wanna do.

Our event could last longer then the official one, after all the offical one only lasts Three Days I think ... maybe longer.
Of course we will still have our Theme but the contests will still run and such, right now we really need to think of a Theme so everyone knows as soon as possible if they want to enter the contest.
and your right, I wouldn't want to enter if I had to pay, though if people want to donate then let them.

I can donate a Gift of the Goddess for a prize. I accidentally bought it the other day (yes, I'm really that stupid) so I don't have any gold right now. I was going to wait for prices to rise and try to sell it in the Marketplace...but eh, it's just fake money, and the fun from events is real.
I think that if we did an animals-related avie contest, we'd probably get a bunch of cliche entries if we didn't charge to enter. Not saying it's a bad idea, mind; just thinking aloud.

We'll get cliche entrys anyway whatever the theme.
The Science Project gone wrong will be a funny one We'll have crazy docters and whacked out experiments, I bet there would be loads of Zombies and such.
anyway I'm going to sleep for a while so if you keep giving ideas / run a poll on it that would be great
