From inside Sev somewhere, Ogalax observed Autsu's behavior, knowing that next time -- if there ever was a next time -- he'd have to be more careful with his words. He wasn't used to such a sensitive person. Back on Solanga, people just didn't act like Autsu was acting. He didn't understand such anger...such passion. Og's only passion was his work. His research.

Seveile heard Autsu talking as Og had taken the forefront, but her outburst had taken her over before she could reply to what he'd said. Wiping tears from her eyes, she managed to recover a bit, sniveling as she did so. Her dreads seemed to match her feelings -- they were droopy, and didn't seem to want to move around, lying flat against one another and her head. "I -- I want a place to belong ... I don't belong anywhere," she managed to get out before breaking into light tears again. Sev wanted more than anything to be normal at that very moment, but sadly, she couldn't escape her fate. She wanted to be herself...not the criminal inside her. At that moment, she couldn't have been more confused about her-- or was it him-self?

He had had sisters. Back home, on his own world, there had been sisters. His memories of them were a mixture of resentment and fondness. They had been treated with a gentle affection that he had never gotten to experiance. So there was anger there.

But looking at Sev in that moment, he remembered only the protectiveness he'd been taught to feel toward them, and in remembering them, he felt it for her. But still, he did not quite know how he was supposed to comfort her. Reaching out, he squeezed her shoulder firmly, in the way his brother of this world often did. A gesture of solidarity, of companionship.

"You belong with us. We will protect you." Sev, in her sweet insanity, had been catagorized as one who needed guarding, who would benifit from what Kian and he planned, because she would be among comrades who would not harm her. Who would not allow her other self to harm her.

Sev was surprised when Autsu squeezed her shoulder. She had been expecting him to slap her in the face...or at least storm out the door in anger. She hadn't wanted Ogalax to talk to him, but Sev had little control of her own body when he had decided to emerge. She wanted him gone--to quit making things so difficult! Was it Ogalax that caused her hallucinations? It was something she'd begun to wonder about.

"Really?" She looked up at the taller boy, eyes starting to become watery once again. "You'd protect me? Do you know how I can get rid of him?" she asked, knowing that he probably didn't have the answer for that one. Even if he didn't, the thought of having people around who understood her -- who wouldn't think she was strange -- was a pleasant one.

"I'd like to belong somewhere..."

Ahh... the promises that have been made to stop a girl's tears. Since the beginning of time, and perhaps to the end of it, stupid promises would be made in the hopes of a smile.

Of course Autsu wanted to help Sev, the girl so obviously needed. But when it came right down to it, he didn't have a ******** clue how one would go about defending her from what was, essentially, herself.

"I am not sure." He admitted, taking his hand off her shoulder then, and letting it fall back to his side. "You need to be stronger than he is. We will work together, to make you strong."

He paused, considering. "And I will see what my father has to say. He is wise."

And that, then, was almost all he had to say to the gently inside child he'd come to speak to. He had no other suggestions, no other comforts. Only the promise that there would be a place, for all of them.

"You have us now. And soon... there will be a place. One that is only ours." He nodded firmly, adjusting his grip on his skateboard as he did so. "For now, I have others I must attempt to speak to. I will contact you, soon."

"Yes! Teach me how to be strong. Stronger than he is. I want him to go away," the dreadlocked girl said, agreeing wholeheartedly with Autsu. If that was the way it would have to be, Sev would do it. Though this was the first time Og had reared his ugly head, Sev never wanted it to happen again. She wanted him gone. For good.

"Please come back and see me again," she said, not really asking, but more telling him to do so. "I hope your dad has an answer." The look in her eyes was hopeful, and though he hadn't made any promises, Sev knew he'd try to help her. At least she believed he was being honest when he said she had others to lean on.

"Thank you," she said as he readied himself to leave. "This is where I'll be, soooo come back any time. I look forward to meeting the others." With that, she moved toward the door and opened it for him. He looked as if he had important business to attend to-- business that couldn't wait any longer. "Bye Autsu! I'm sorry about...everything earlier. I don't know...much about him. I can't remember anything. But thank you for helping me." Her dreads seemed to be revived as they squirmed in their pigtails, wrapping themselves around each other before squirming toward the edge of the door.

"You are poorly treated by your otherself, and you needn't ask forgiveness for his actions." Autsu responded, as he stepped out the door and prepared to make his way back home. Was this mission a success or a failure? He didn't even know how to label it. In a way, he'd gained a recruit, but mostly, he'd gained another responsibility. They would protect Sev, somehow. Otherwise, how could they say they were taking care of each other.

"Be well." He bowed as he exited, and then turned away. Back to the mission at hand, and he would let this particular problem marinate while he waited for the solution to come to him.
