Damien heard one of the brothers trot over to where he was. He chuckled as he heard him rumble like a kitty.

Benjamin's ears swivels forward as he hears Damien chuckling. He fixes his amber eyes on Damien. "Anything funny?" He inquires the blind jokoa before he buries his fangs in the body and proceeds in shearing the meat off the bone.

"Sorry." Damien replied. "I couldn't help it with you making that noise." He quickly ripped off a medium sized section from the fawn and placed it beside him.

Benjamin chuckles as he chews on the meat he successfully removed from the bone. "Its habit.. I love to do this whenever I eat. I guess I am still a kit at heart." He confided in Damien and he falls silent, then he began to enjoy his meal while rumbling softly.

Damien sent a smile Benjamin's way and picked up the section of meat. He began to chew on one end of it. 'Mmmmmmm...' he thought to himself.

Benjamin caught the smile and just merely smirked to himself while he steadily eats his fill of the meat. "Delicious, is it? I bet you never had fawn meat before" He says with almost amused tone in his voice. He sits straight up and rumbles more in sheer contentment , his eyes nearly droops half way closed.

Damien paused in taking another bite of his meal and replied, " Yes, I doubt I'll ever be able to eat this again so I'm going to enjoy it while it last." He continued eating and pauses again. "Is Jackson going to eat soon? I don't want him to go hungry." he said with a troubled look on his face. He knew he was the main reason why Jackson wasn't eating with them now.

Benjamin chuckles as he grins at Damien. "He is coming very soon. He is out prowling right now but he will be here to feast. I have left some of meat.. his favorite kind of meat for him." He simply says as he reaches his paw over and pats Damien's shoulder. "Don't worry.. we don't let each other starve.."

"Alright." Damien replied with a nod. He didn't want to cause anyone any trouble just because of him being there.

Jackson materializes in front of the clearance or seemed to just appear to the naked eye. "Benjamin.. your turn to patrol while I eat my fill.. I am starved." He says in quiet voice as he pads toward the fawn. "I hope this fawn is up to your tastes, Damien and filling too I hope." He spoke to Damien before he sits near the rump of the deer and proceeds in filling his stomach.
Benjamin licks his maw clean and takes a minute to clean his face and maw before he goes on the patrol. He grins at Damien before he clears his throat. "Told'cha.. we don't let each other starve. Its time for me to patrol the area.. see ya later, Damien!" He gets up and trots off into the forest.

"It is." Damien replied as he was pleased that Jackson showed up to eat as well. "See you soon Benjamin." Damien replied with a chuckle. He takes the last bite out of meal. Once's he's down chewing he lickes his paws and face clean.

Jackson occasionally glance up at Damien to make sure he is faring okay, but every time he does glance up, he was pleased with the fact that Damien is content and safe here under his brother and his watch. He eats continually for 5 minutes before he sits on his rump, licking his paws and brushing his paw over his face to clean off the grime and blood that sticks to his face. After his small shower, he watches Damien while licking his chops. "Mmm.... there is still some left over.." He notes as he looks at almost 1/4 of the meat left from the fawn's body.

"How much?" Damien asked with curiousity. "Oh, I never asked, but where do you stay nights?" he asked hoping that he wasn't being rude.

Jackson grins in amusement at Damien. "Lets say.. there is enough for another meal for all three of us, Damien. And we sleep in the cave right behind you for while. If we feel like we are being threatened or more ulayas is moving in this terrority, we leave quietly because we don't want any confrontations." He explains calmly

" I see." Damien replied with a nod. "For me.....I usually just sleep anywhere." he replied. He never really thought about where he would sleep. It wasn't like he could remember the same spot to sleep at nights anyway.
