Fiery orange locks cascaded down a big belly, as she was in fact, pregnant. Her face appeared kind and gentle, but she was biting her bottom lip anxiously. The woman's arms rested on her belly, and her hands were shaking as she gripped the unicorn plushie and a metallic gold package.
"You can do this Ella…" She murmured to herself under her breath. She could do this…Couldn't she? Ella leaned her head back and blinked a few times as she gazed up at the blank ceiling. "Hopefully these were going to be the right parents," she thought to herself. Her eyes drifted back onto the plushie and she clenched it harder. Ella breathed in deeply.
Maban, of course, would pick the right parents for her baby…She couldn't just tell them to go home. No, that wasn't right. Ella bowed her head, glancing down at her belly, hidden under a dress of forest green satin. "I wonder what they plan on naming the child…" she thought with a tiny smile.
Sizzla walked with Caroline down the tree-lined street that led to the Maban agency. She had waited a long time for this day, and was a bit nervous. They had gotten the news just a day earlier, that a mother had been found, who would let them adopt her child. Today was the day when they would meet her.
Sizzla pushed back her cuticles, a nervous habit that she had, and thought about what the mother would be like. She hoped she would be a nice woman, who cared about her baby, but decided she wasn't yet ready for a child. She was giving them a chance after all, to raise one of their own.
Caroline nudged Sizzla in the side as they walked through the automatic doors with a whoosh. The sight of the red haired angel (and fae) blew her mind. She was beautiful…and considering she was pregnant, Caroline immediately had a thought--"That is our baby's mommmie!" She giggled as she waggled a finger towards the woman in excitement. "Oh my god, Sizzla! That has to be Ella, I just know it…look she's pregnant!"
With a bolt of energy, Caroline grabbed Sizzla's hand and rushed over to the mother. Caroline let loose of Sizzla's hand and flashed a gentle smile over to Ella. "Hi Ella, I am Caroline and this is Sizzla…" she couldn't take her eyes off of Ella, she was just too excited... so when Caroline went to point at Sizzla, she poked her cheek instead.
Ella was a bit startled as the energetic Caroline ran over. "Oh, my!" She stood up and straightened her dress as she held the presents in one hand, Ella brushed her other hand down her dress dusting of the imaginary dirt. "Yes, I am Ella, it's a pleasure to meet you both…" She stuck out a shaky hand with a warm smile.
Sizzla felt the pull of Caroline, and followed behind her, looking at the woman with the bright red hair and wings of a fae and an angel. Sizzla laughed as she watched Caroline get quite excited, and she let her spew her words forth before she decided to introduce herself.
Sizzla shook the young woman's hand firmly, smiling at her with one of the biggest smiles she'd ever had. This was going to be a great day, and if this woman was the mother of her child, Sizzla couldn't imagine anything more perfect.
Caroline took hold of Ella's hand and shook it vigorously. "Oh man, is it a pleasure! I-I..." She let go of the woman's hand and hugged her. "...just want to thank you..."
Ella was a bit shocked as Caroline hugged her, she still was holding onto Sizzla's hand. Her hand stopped shaking and she patted Caroline's back with the toy-filled hand. "It's alright…." Her voice was sweet and calming, she didn't really know what to say. "Why it's alright, I want to give up my baby." It just sounded weird. "Oh, yes!"
Ella stepped back a little with a bright grin. "I got some gifts for the baby, this is just a little plushie that I bought and this…" She handed the plushie over to the sane one, (Sizzla) then held up the gold package.
"I would really like if you opened this one up when the baby is born, or maybe when we arrive to your house…It's just a little family hierloom." Her eyes beamed brightly as she glanced down at the package, she remembered as a child how she used to wear it.
Sizzla took the plushie from Ella, her eyes beaming with happiness, and listened to her request. "Of course we'll wait until the baby comes! We do want you to be a part of her life. I just want to thank you so much for letting us have this opportunity." She tried not to get too happy, as she didn't want to alienate the baby's mother. She was a gorgeous woman, and her kind voice and pleasant mannerisms could only bode well for the child that was soon to be born.
"What are your plans for the future Ella? Do you know anything about the baby's father?" Sizzla tried not to feel awkward, but she wanted to know...
Ella smiled at the woman and spoke softly. "Well, I haven't seen him in quite awhile, obviously..." She looked down, rubbing her very pregnant stomach. "We were young...And he was a good man, but not ready for a wife and a child. He left me one night, and only left a letter behind." Tears began to well up in her eyes, and you could see them getting glassy as she spoke further. "He wanted to take care of us, but I know he was afraid. He was afraid that he couldn't do it."
"It's okay dear. Please don't cry. This is supposed to be a happy day for everyone. And you will always be a part of the baby's life. Don't you worry about that." Sizzla hugged her gently, trying not to scare her away.
Caroline stepped back a little and reached out her hand, she flashed a small reassuring smile as her hand brushed against Ella's. "Yes, we want the baby to know its mother is, we want you to present on the babies birthday and every important events…Sizzla and I aren't going let the baby not know who you are…"
Her face softened as she put her hand on Ella's belly gently. "It's like we are all one big family, how bout we head home now…." The woman's eyes flashed a friendly blue as she bent down and took Ella's bag.
"Go...home? Am I coming to live with you?" Ella's eyes expressed concern. She wasn't aware that she would be living with the two adoptive mothers. She felt Caroline's hands on her belly, and felt the baby kick from inside. She smiled, and looked up at the women. "You're really serious about me coming to stay?"
"Of course you're coming to stay with us," Sizzla said, her voice coated in kindness. "We'll be with you the whole time, until the baby is born. And then, you can decide what you want to do..." Sizzla's voice trailed off, and then she added, "But that's enough talk of that. We'll have plenty of time to find out everything about you when we get home. But for now, let's get you off of those feet."
Caroline put her hands in front of her, holding the bag with both hands. "Of course, and when the baby is born you can choose to leave or stay…Whatever you choose, no matter what you shall be part of this baby's life, I am promising you…"
She let out a little giggle. "I myself am getting pregnant soon, I didn't expect it, kinda happened after Sizzla and I filled out the Maban form…" Her eyes sparkled as she let out a sigh. "…but I can only have one child, so…yea…" Caroline shrugged a bit letting her eyes wander to the floor.
"Homeward bound!" Caroline said a bit loudly as she led the way out the door.
Sizzla followed Ella out the door with a skip in her step. They were one big happy family so far, and only good times could be ahead. The baby would be there soon, and they would all be mothers...

Ella The trip to Rose Hall had been a fun one for Ella. She had lived most of her life in simplicity, in a small house with her family. The moment she became an adult, she was ready to move out of the house and live on her own. It was a big deal to Ella, who wanted to be independent. So, she struck out on her own, finding her own place to live, and finding him...
As they arrived at the house, Ella took in the whole sight, looking from left to right and examining all of the intricacies of the house. She had never seen anything quite like it. She'd never been fortunate enough to have wealthy friends, so this was definitely something new to her.
She walked up the steps to the house, and through the door that Caroline was holding open for her. "Thanks," she said with a smile. "This place is gorgeous! Are we really going to stay here?" It was a bit much for her to take in at once, but she knew that this house would be the perfect place for her child to be raised. She wanted the best for her child, and the baby would certainly have it.
"Is this really your house? Was it your families house at one point? Or has it always been yours?" She looked up at the entryway, examining the large staircase and muraled walls. "Can I go look around?"

Sizzla Sizzla followed Ella into the house, never having seen Caroline's summer home. It was...very different from her apartment over the GoGo, and it wasn't quite what she expected.
"Dang Caroline! Why didn't I ever know about this place?! It's amazing! Is there a pool out back and everything?" Sizzla rushed into the house, taking in all of the sights and smells around her. This place was awesome! She was glad that Caroline had this idea, for her house was much too small to accommodate three adults and a baby. She had enough children at home, but at least they could take care of each other while she was gone.
Sizzla turned in circles in the living room, just taking it all in. Finally, she plopped down on an overstuffed couch, sinking in substantially. "Now this is the life!" She turned to the others. "Are you guys just going to stand there? Come in and have a sit with me." She flashed a huge smile and sunk even further into the chair.

Sizzla Sizzla nodded at the woman who had come to take their bags. "Hello, I'm Sizzla. Nice to meet you Tabitha! Thanks for helping us out while we're here. We really appreciate it. We just need to keep this one in good health and spirits." She put her hand around Ella's shoulder, wanting her to know that they were prepared to take care of any of her needs. After all, she was quite pregnant!Ella looked amazed at the beautiful house all around her. She had never stayed anywhere so nice before. " I'm ever so grateful to you for letting me stay with you two. You're too nice to me!" A single tear rolled down her cheek, dropping to the floor. A smile broke out across her face as she scampered off to go look around the house. She hadn't noticed the change in Caroline's demeanor, but Sizzla definitely had.She sat down next to Caroline, and smiled. "Yes, this place is lovely. I'd love to live here if I were you! I don't think I'd ever leave! Well, I think it will be a great place to raise the baby, and to help Ella through her pregnancy. I wonder if she'll live her with us after the baby is born...Speaking of the baby, we should probably schedule an appointment with the doctor to see how things are developing. It'd be nice to get an ultrasound of the baby. Maybe we'll be able to tell if it's a girl or a boy." Sizzla voice rose at the end of her statement. She was excited about the baby that would soon come into all of the women's lives.
"Well, if you're up for it, how about we go for a swim. I want to teach the baby how to swim early, so they're comfortable in the water. Maybe Ella likes swimming...I guess we'll have to see." She stood up and extended a hand to Caroline to pull her up off of the couch. "Now, no more sad feelings, okay? Let's see that smile of yours! It's sad to see you so unhappy...I know you miss your family. If I had more family to miss, I probably would too. But now, my children are my family, and I know they're there for me everywhere I go."

caroline_cupcake Tabitha had already scurried off, missing the greeting from Sizzla. Caroline embraced Ella soothingly. "Aw, Ella you shouldn't thank us, really, well me at least..." She giggled and stepped back a bit, leaving Ella some breathing room. Her eyes reassured Ella not to cry, to be happy, even though sadness was an overhead cloud hovering over Caroline. Caroline watched as Ella leave to wonder around.
"Ah, yes, you are the first guests here, well besides a few of the kids. Hehe, this is the perfect place to raise the child, I do agree, but we can't live here all the days of the week, I was thinking of mostly summers and vacations, not to mention weekends." Caroline chuckled softly and glanced over to Sizzla with a warm smile. "Oh, we should do that, crap�forgot about that, err, you can do it, your better with scheduling things like that." She waggled her hands in the air with a slight excitement and emotional gesture. "Well, I am fine, just memories flash in my mind, I feel like I am loosing those memories each day, I miss them." She sunk down into the couch not evening replying to Sizzla swimming praise.

Ella "Oh but I want to thank you!" Ella said. "I never thought anyone would be willing to take in a pregnant stranger. It's so kind of you!" Her eyes beamed, a tear forming in each one. She was so happy that she was crying. She shook her head, fanning her hand at her eyes, hoping to dry them, and she smiled meekly at the two women, knowing that everything was going to be perfect.
She gave a slight bow, then sauntered off to admire the house. She began to wander down the long hallways, admiring the old paintings and sculptures. She opened several doors, taking in the intricately carved beds and plush furnishings in the guest rooms.
Eventually she came to an oak-paneled room, with a heavy door. The shelves were lined with books, and in the middle of the room was a spiral staircase, leading to the next floor of the massive home library. Ella's eyes widened in awe as she breathed in the musty air. She loved the smell of books, and the knowledge that could be found in them. Ella was quite an avid reader, and she had been reading to the baby for months now. She hoped it would rub off on the little creature growing inside her.

Sizzla Sizzla looked at Caroline, a bit concerned about her friend's sad demeanor. She had never seen Caroline act this way, as she was usually a pretty happy-go-lucky girl. Her psychic abilities began to kick in, making her a bit more sensitive to the feelings of the other girl. She knew part of why Caroline was so sad, but she wanted to make her friend feel better. She sat down next to her, giving her shoulders a quick squeeze.
"You're losing your memories? There has to be a way to keep them fresh in your mind...It'll be okay Caro. I know you miss your family dearly. I'm so sorry you aren't able to see them. Is there any way that they can come see you, or that you can go visit them? Can you at least see them in dreams?" Realizing that she was being slighty rude with all her questions and gross optimism, Sizzla sat back, thinking.
"Yes, I suppose I could plan for a doctor's visit..." Her voice trailed off as she tried to concentrate on Caroline's feelings.

Caroline's journal entry Everything seems to be going just dandy, Ella is so kind...too kind maybe. I hope she stays, or atleast visits the baby when she is born. Well, I am tired and bloated....tootles.

Ella's journal entry Things are going beautifully, I couldn't have better parents for m—this child. I keep forgetting that this child inside of me won't be mine; sometimes I dream that he will come back for me…but I find that unlikely. Yet, Caroline and Sizzla keep insist that I be a part of the babies life in addition come to visit or live in Caroline's beautiful home, Rose Hall. Caroline is a very, erm happy person with a big heart, the other day I experienced her depressed. I guess there is more to learn about her. Sizzla is very kind and welcoming, and she seemed a bit more normal as well as comforting. I know they will be great parents. I just found out also, Caroline herself is pregnant, so we'll get to experience it all together. It should be quite a ride.

Off to the Doctor...
"Hello?" The voice on the other end of the line sounded pleasant and reassuring. "Doctor May's office."
"Hi, this is Sizzla Marvel, and I'm wanting to make an appointment for a freind of mine. She needs to see a doctor about the status of her pregnancy. I think we'll just need a check-up. Perhaps an ultrasound?"
"Sure, Ms. Marvel. What is the patient's name?"
"Ella...Ella Ewyon. Our phone number is 555-4712. Is there any way we could make the appointment tomorrow or maybe by the end of the week?"
"Sure," replied the voice on the other end. "Let's see what we can do for you." There was a bit of silence as Sizzla waited for the woman to check.
"Ok Ms. Marvel, I have a two o'clock appointment available tomorrow. How does that sound?"
"Just great. Thanks for being so helpful at the last minute. I do appreciate it."
"Sure, it's no problem. So we'll see you here tomorrow. Just be sure to bring an insurance card, okay?"
"Sure, see you then. Bye!"
Sizzla hung up the phone and sighed. Finally, they'd be able to see the baby, and know if it was okay or not. She was a bit concerned about its health, but Ella didn't seem like the type who would do anything to harm her child. She seemed to love they baby, as Sizzla and Caroline would.
She stood up and headed toward the stairs, shouting to Ella, who was in her room reading. "Ella! Doctor's appointment tomorrow! We have to be there at two!"
"Okay!" she shouted back. "I'll be there!"
This house was becoming a home quickly...

Sizzla's Journal Entry Well, we've adopted Ella into our family as well as the baby that she's carrying for us. She's a lovely girl, and very sweet. Almost too sweet. She's so thankful for everything we've done for her, and I'm glad that she's happy to be here. I just hope she thinks we'll be good parents. I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing myself, but with all the children I already have, I'm thinking it may be easy. But you never know...She could be a fussy kid. So far, the only child I've had any problems raising is Lilith. But she's a little demon-child, so what should I have expected, right? Caroline is now pregnant with her own child. It seems that somehow, the GMFC helped her and WW conceive. It's amazing how science works, isn't it? But even though I can't have a child of my own just yet, you never know...one day the GMFC could be a place where I could go as well. But for now, little Faye will be enough for me I'm sure. Well, we've got to get off to a doctor's appointment for Ella soon, so I should round up the troops. It's quite a drive back into the city from Rose Hall. I'll write again later...
