If Harry died it wouldn't be that happy ending story everyone might assume there would be.

Many people are thinking he'll die in the end.

Harry might die and he might not. Well, actually he will die eventually, but that's not the point. Most people would want a happier ending, thoughI'll be happy with whatever happens.

JKR is used to killing off some of our loved char. So I wouldn't be surprised if he does die...though not many people would be happy, except like, Draco.

Maybe Voldemort too... That is if he doesn't die first.

I actually want Harry to die. Happy endings... they are really annoying, especially in cases like this, when they aren't practical. If Harry destroys Voldie and grows up to be a famous auror, get married, and have 2.5 children and a dog, I'll be really annoyed. He should die. That's just how it is, it would fit.

Well, my theory is that Voldermort will die and Harry will get all of Voldermort's power and it begins to turne Harry to the dark magic and in order to stop himself he sacrafices himself.

It makes Harry seem too much like a hero then...

pmarsala311 It makes Harry seem too much like a hero then... That is a good point. Either he dies or the wizarding world puts him in Azagban (SP)

Even if Harry lives, it doesn't have to be a happy ending. 'Practical' and 'realistic' do not always be 'happy' and 'normal'. Harry could die and it could be a happy ending, then what? Sure he's dead but everyone's saved. It could be something like that. If Harry dies then I might like the books a bit better.

You're right. A realistic and practical life doesn't mean that everything's going to be happy. Something could still happen and things do happen. I don't think Harry would go to Askaban though... He hasn't done anything that would make him go there.
