I like VIZ and TokyoPop the most, it's the only thing I really buy domokun ...

Dark Horse is one of the oldest companies to be translating manga, they're great, they take risks and aren't stupid enough to force-market a mature manga to younger audiences.

Del Ray is also great, they dont tamper with the manga very much if at all, high quality translation and art direction, a lot of respect for the manga and the culture it came out of.

But I dont buy manga in English ^_^;;
So my vote goes to Shueisha and Kodansha...

A lot of the manga I own is from Tokyopop, but Viz has all the anime manga like Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc... And Dark Horse has Megatokyo of course. ^.^

I voted Broccoli even though I only have one series by them, but I love how they do their sound effects and the covers are hard and don't bend or dent easily. *hugs Juvenile Orion box set*

I hate VIZ's dialogue, but they license a lot of the titles I want.

Viz. Not only have they been around the longest, but their translations seem to be the best next to Del Rey. They also have a lot of titles to choose from, and don't translate everything and EVERYTHING. Even the bad manga. *glares at Tokyopop*
The binding on the books seems to be better than a lot of the other publishers, too. They also don't have annoying summaries of the next book in the back. XD
Del Rey would have been my favorite if they didn't charge a dollar more. >>

i like the way Tokypo lays out their books, and the space they allow their authors for self expression.
they have an authentic feel, which appeals to me.

I voted TokyoPop, as I've always loved TP. But recently I be leaning towards Viz. Though I will admit Del Ray is the best publisher, for the quality of the book and translations (now if only they would pick up more titles).
