Trina raised an eyebrow. The man wanted Ritsuko to love him? How would kidnapping Tomo achieve that? Trina didn't know alot about things on those lines, but she was pretty sure that wasn't how to do it... Her gaze returned to Tomo, softening. He looked tired...wary... Her gaze flickered back to the man, eyes narrowing slightly. "You...are a stupid man." She said, watching him carefully. It was rare to get Trina to openly insult someone, so it marked how much she disliked him. How would he act now that Ritsuko was denying him what he wanted? Would he try to hurt Tomo? Or worse, would he disappear with him?

Shiya turned to Trina. "Yes, I suppose I am a stupid man. But this woman is even stupider when she doesn't accept an eternity of unconditional love."
Ritsuko stared at Shiya. "You poor thing..." She murmured, "You just don't get it." She threw her arms outward. "This is not going to bring me back. I can't love you. I don't want to love you." She told him, "Why are you so... dedicated to me?"

Trina's eyes narrowed further. Now he was insulting Ritsuko... And he somehow thought she would be moved by this? She would have felt sorry for the man if he hadn't have taken Tomo...no...he was not one to pity. He was one to be punished. Or killed if he had hurt Tomo too badly... Trina blinked. Killed? Would she freely kill this man? She looked at Tomo again. Maybe...she didn't know anymore... She glanced down at her arm to look at the black marks, but she had was wearing her full leather armor. Trina looked back at Ritsuko, her blades simply not there anymore as she crossed her arms. If Ritsuko wanted to question the man, then fine, but Trina wanted to get Tomo home...she did not care about the man at all...

Kaia looked over at the others and noticed Trina starting to fume. She motioned her over, staying close to Tomo.
Ritsuko sighed, "I don't have a heart to give you, Shiya." She explained, keeping her hand around Aerric's. "It belongs to someone else, now. I love him with everything I have left." She said, looking him in his fake blue eyes. "You're not even the boy I met."

Trina saw that she was being called over, and, with another glance at the man, she walked lightly over. "Yes? Might I assist you?" She asked, looking at Tomo sadly, then at her again. She realized she had never actually met Tomo's rope friend, but it wasn't the time to give introductions.

"Can you figure out what type of magic is holding him in? It seems common, but I'm not really familiar with it." Kaia whispered.
Shiya could only scowl. He was trying to wrap his brain around it. To a point, he knew he could never have Ritsuko. No matter how hard he tried. His neck twitched as his magic level dropped. Muscles got smaller and less obvious. Perfect hair went brown and straggly. His flawless blue eyes went to a muted brown and he looked about ten years older than he had a few minutes ago. "G-Get out of here." He said quietly, releasing the magic around Tomo.

Trina had been about to try and figure out the structure of the shield, to see if it was physical or not, but it was gone before she could. She blinked, waiting for Kaia to hug him or something, turning around to make sure the man was not trying to trick them. One false move...and Trina wasn't sure she would not hurt him. "Kaia...he said we could take Tomo?" She asked, not sure what the man's intentions were.

Once the barrier was down, Kaia threw her arms around her husband, who went limp against her like a rag doll. She didn't seem to mind at the moment.
Ritsuko shook her head, "I'll be back in a week. I think the only way to heal you of me and yourself is to forget me entirely." She created a magical circle in the air. "Until then, you are forbidden to leave your home. You'll have the resources you need to live until I get here." She turned and nodded to the others. "Let's go home."

Trina nodded. Even though she was angry with this man, Tomo was more important than blind rage. She waited for people to start leaving, not trusting the man at all. One wrong move, that was all it would take and she knew it. If she left first she would worry, and that would be bad for her control. "Yes...home."

Shiya fell back into his chair as the others began their way home.
Ritsuko picked Tomo up and carried the near unconscious boy out the door, down the hallway, and out the main door, waiting until everyone was out before sealing it entirely with her magic. "I should have done this years ago." She looked down at the boy in her arms and kissed his forehead, "But then I would have never found you." She nodded to everyone else, giving Aerric a smile before starting off towards the Muffin. "Thanks, everyone."

"You're welcome...but I didn't do anything..." Trina said, giving Tomo a worried look. "Will he be alright?" She asked, concerned that he seemed to be sleeping.

"You gave me the strength to do this," Ritsuko replied, not looking back as she walked along the path. "As for Kaz, he should be okay. We'll get some good soup in him and some tea and he should be right as rain."

Trina looked relieved. "That's good...wait...right as rain?" She blinked. "You wish it to rain?" She asked, tilting her head. "I thought Tomo did not like rain..."

Ritsuko laughed, "He doesn't, he doesn't." She assured Trina, "It's just an expression. It means he'll be healthy again."

"Oh...sorry." She looked thoughtful, storing the information away, thinking about using it sometime. "Okay. Thank you." She gave a nod, her eyes no longer rimmed in the glowing blue, back to the plain dark. She was happy to have Tomo back, where he would be safe and happier. She had completely forgotten the man already, had to, otherwise she would end up brooding over it.
