With a casual flick of his tail and a sly smirk on his maw, the great lion rose to his paws, towering at his full height. Muscles rippled with each step, white pelt flowing with his form as he casually strode toward the lioness, finally stopping to settle on his haunches just within physical range.
His tail seemed ever in movement, the tip flicking back and forth like a hunter toying with it's prey. So this mortal thought he was attractive did she, such a fatal flaw. For a moment the thought of pushing her into the water drifted through his mind, and he grinned at the thought of drowning the hapless creature.
But today was not the day for killing, the lion had no lust for bloodshed. Today he would give the lioness what she thought she wanted, and reveal in the anguish it would later cause. Of course, that didn't mean he would be gentle.
So, his short detour had been worth the trek, delicious.

The orange lioness picked herself up from her position as the other made his way towards her. Well, that was an invitation, wasn't it? She offered a light purr, completely oblivious to what the large white male's true intentions were, as well as what his mind played with doing to her. She probably would of been horrified has she known, but she was no mind-reader, and today she didn't even bother trying to read his body language deep enough to get past the fact that was unspoken between them.
She swished her tail, peeked over her shoulder at him, offering a smirk before she nosed a smaller area that was a bit darker. Females usually wanted a bit of privacy, but that privacy could also help them unwind.
Her golden eyes nearly glowed as the air tinted to a dustier, more mute colour then it had been earlier.
Well, the night would be inviting as well.
