Fleur flinched slightly at Valens' outburst but blinked when he registered what the horse boy was saying. "Do you have any idea what it'll look like?" the skunk had to ask. "I don't have a clue...I've been making a sweater for it, but I don't know how big to make it." He sounded a little embarrassed at knowing so little about his dragon despite the egg tour. Granted, even during the egg tour, all he could see was the very top of the egg, and what he saw looked like nothing more than a giant ball berring.

"I think that they have big mohawks but aside from that..." He shook his head, "I am not exactly sure. I know that they are called Silver and are silver colored." Aside from that he didn't know much about them but he would learn once the baby hatched out right?

Wait a second...

"You can make sweaters?" He asked of the skunk child his line of thought getting a bit distracted from the dragons to the idea that someone Fleur's age could make sweaters. Wow... he felt a bit behind. Maybe he could get Fleur to make his dragon something? A hat or scarf? What if it warmed up before the dragon hatched though? Ah well.

"What else can you make?"

Fleur blushed a little though it was only visible under the white V on his nose. "Um...sort of..." he muttered in response, embarrassed. "It looks more like a tube sock right now...but I'm getting better at knitting!" He gave Valens a shy smile, not used to talking about himself and his hobbies. "I'm hoping it will look better when the dragon hatches though I hope it's not too little."

"Ahhh! I see." He murmured then nodded his approval, that was cool, "Even if you are new at it that didn't mean anything it just means need of 'disapline and practice'... or so my father tells me. Often." His father was much more strict when it came to well... everything then his mother was. She was the one that cuddled and snuggled on him, did his hair, helped him pick out clothing, all of the fun mommy stuff.

"When your better at stuff will you make me something?" He asked, curiously. He wanted something knitted!

Fleur blinked in surprise at that and tilted his head. Valens really wanted him to make something for him? Fleur loved giving presents, so that thought elated him. "S-Sure! What would you want?" He thought back to the books Chrysler had helped him buy at the bookstore. "I can try making...uh...scarves, sweaters, hats, and gloves." It was getting a little warm for that, but just the thought that Valens wanted him to made the weather not matter.

Valens seemed to be thinking on it for a while, tail swishing before he gave a smile, "A hat, one with ears holes if you could do that?" He asked, "Like one of those colorful hats the guys on skateboards wear. That would be cool!"

He shifted back and forth on his hooves, clicking in an excited way, "And in exchange I will... get something for you." He wasn't sure what yet since he didn't knit but he would figure something out!

Fleur squinted, thinking about that. He thought he knew what Valens meant, but he would have to ask Chrysler to be sure. He blinked at Valens' other comment though and blushed again. "Y-You don't have to," he responded. "I like making stuff for other people." He blushed a little brighter admitting that. He loved knitting, and if it was for someone other than himself, that was even better.

"Don't mind. Will figure something out for Phil." He said, nodding his head. He would have to think on it was all. What to get for the other boy... his ears were flicking forwards and backwards. There was the sound of the door opening up again that caught Valens attention though, he looked over at the door and smile, "Momma!" He said, lifting up a hand to wave wildly at her.

Lamiah looked over at where she heard the voice from, eyes going wide then she gave a sighing sound of relief, "Valens! I have been looking all over for you." She said, walking over to the boy and knelt down to wrap her arm around her boy, glad that she had found him. She'd been so panicked when she turned around and found the boy missing.

"I've been here with my new friend." He squirmed free of the hug to motion to Fleur, "This is Phil, Phil this is my Mom."

"Its nice to meet you." She said, smiling at the boy she had been introduced too.

Fleur meekly waved to Valens' mother, clutching his bag of candy to his chest as his tail twitched nervously. "F-Fleur," he corrected if only so the lady would know his real name. He did not mind Valens calling him Phil, but he did not think it would be good to let it spread lest it confuse anyone. Fleur motioned to Chrysler who had not budged from leaning against the edge of the door to the candy shop. "Th-That's Chrysler."

Chrysler opened one yellow eye and twitched her tail, looking terribly bored. "I'm his aunt, so to speak," she muttered. She almost looked as if she could be from D-Corp herself using silver fox DNA, but she did not sound like a child.

"B-Bah made her," Fleur stammered nervously. "She's a robot." Fleur found Stevie's line of work fascinated and could not wait until he was old enough to start learning machinery and robotics from her.

Lamiah smiled, "Fleur, thank you for keeping Valens occupied so that I could catch up with him. Its hard to do that for the most part unless something catches his attention." She said, giggling a little. Now that she knew the boy was safe she could relax and be happy once again.

She looked over and nodded her head to Chrysler, "Its a pleasure to meet you as well Miss Chrysler." Her eyes widened a bit, a robot? She looked so very real so it was a little hard to tell that the woman was anything but real, reminding her of Valens and the other children she had seen that had animal DNA in them, "Thats... amazing!"

Valens looked over at Chrysler as if seeing her for the first time, he had been talking with Fleur so he'd not exactly noticed anyone else around since his attention seemed solely on the skunk child. He gave Chrysler a wave so as not to seem rude then looked to his mother, "Phil knits! Hes gonna make me something!" He told her excitedly.

Chrysler gave Lamiah a fang-filled, humorless grin as she retorted, "You wouldn't think so if you knew how much the moron screwed up when she made me. I was supposed to be a toaster."

"She can breathe fire!" Fleur blurted with sudden energy, and Chrysler snorted a puff of smoke as if to prove his claim. The skunk boy thought that was amazing - Chrysler could breathe fire just like a dragon! Maybe his dragon could do the same? Fleur blushed again when he heard Valens mention his knitting. "I-I'm not very good yet...b-but I'm getting better!"

Lamiah blinked a couple times, looking completely dumbfounded. Someone could make a robot with this sort of intelligence while attempt to make something as simple as a toaster? That was rather mind boogling to say the very least.

Valens was easily impressed a fire breathing toaster woman?! Awesome, "Can you still make toast?" He asked, curious as since that was she was supposed to become if she had that function. His mind running on the track that odd question had come from was distracted though at Fleur's words.

"Its gonna be a colorful hat!" He said, flailing his arms excitely, so much so he almost lost his bag of candy so Lamiah caught hold of it and took it from him. Better that then a bunch of candy thrown all over the store...

"Thats very sweet of you Fleur, thank you for being so generous to Valens." She said, giving him a smile. She was in fact quite happy that Valens had seemed to do so well with the other boy. Truely the little colt needed to make more friends instead of spending so much time with LaVey and herself.

Chrysler favored Valens with a blank look before answering, "Only if you want it burnt to a crisp. Or sopping with with drool." It was true she could make ordinary toast by holding it between her fangs and breathing on it, but she only did that for toast she was going to eat herself as she tended to drool on it in the process. Otherwise, she had to just roast it outside her mouth where she could not control the heat and flames enough to render the bread still edible.

"I-I'm still learning though," Fleur stammered nervously, shuffling his feet as he stared down at them. "I have some books on hats, b-but I haven't made one yet."

"His attempt at a sweater for his dragon looks more like a tube sock," Chrysler added which made Fleur droop even though it was true.

Valens seemed quite thoughtful then, as if he were ready, willing, and able to sacrifice some unsuspecting bread to see the woman burn it to a crisp and drool on it. He looked around himself real fast a little disapointed that the store held only candy. No chance of there being bread here that could be experimented on.

"Ahh. I see, well we were all beginers at some point in our lives." Lamiah said, "Ah! I can remember the first time I attempted some of my favorite hobbies, it was... messy to say the least. Cooking especially." She couldn't help but giggle as she thought of some of her first attempts at cooking and of poor LaVey that choked the food down and complimented it.

Valens started to bounce back and forth on his hooves, "It will be a great hat!" He said, obviously he had no idea of how hard knitting could be and or didn't understand that Fleur was just begining. He wanted a hat and he was sure that Fleur could do it! "Wanna go pay for our candy now?" He asked of the skunk child.

Fleur nodded to Valens; he had finished filling up his bag while the horse boy was talking to Lamiah and Chrysler. Chrysler handed Fleur the money to pay for it and stayed by the door. Before he finished paying for his own candy, Fleur grabbed a stick of cheap rock candy and bought it as well, bouncing over to Chrysler and sticking it in her mouth.

"What the hell?" Chrysler demanded around the sugar. Fleur only grinned, and Chrysler sighed, getting the idea. She balanced the candy on her tongue and turned her head away from everyone else so as not to singe them before exhaling forcefully, flames licking out from her throat, over her fangs, and melting the rock candy to a puddle of caramel-esque goop, its wooden stick incenerated in the process.

Fleur squealed and bounced from one foot to the other repeatedly. He never grew tired of watching her do that.
