Butterbeer recipie? I may have to find it and try it.
anyway, I'm new, and I do love the Harry Potter Books, although I like writing fanfiction more. I posted a couple already. And for public information, I had written my Dark Angel: Sing the Requiem story so that it would cause the most pain for one of the characters. It just worked out where there's a bit of history I need to add:
1) Ron and Hermione tried dating, and it just didn't work for them. They're more like brother/sister than anything.
2) Only Hermione did the research on the Amulet, and found out about the whole soulmate thing. She also found a spell that Harry did on the Amulet that allowed them to find out who should power it. However, Ron was off visiting Luna at the time and Ginny was studying for a test. Harry also walked off before the spell had revealed his soulmate.
3) Harry really, really didn't want to like Hermione; he considered her too much a sister to want to feel anything. Coincidentally, he also developed a crush on Ginny.

A spell was cast to see who his soulmate was and he just walked off? Damn, I would have stuck around! But maybe he sort of half-suspected it would be 'Mione?

Yeah. How can you not love these books, I never met soembody who read the whole series and said they didn't atleast like them. 3nodding

... Thats a fair point. But I still force them to read them all before they say "I like them" or "I hate them" XP

Yeah. Heh. I forced my brother to read HP, he waited till I had got it in english. He read about half the first book. Then he kinda forgot it. He didn't like the book. My dad was the same, but he only read the first chapter. xd
Then my mum likes them, but she is not a freak as I. My other brother has read them all and says he dislikes them, but I know he thinks they are good.

I tried to have my sister read them, but she said no, she didn't like them, but whenever she takes a quiz about HP, she always comes up and asks me the question. My brother read 4 out of 5 of the books, but now he says anime is more important and he would take Negima before Harry Potter any day. My dad doesn't really care and my mom likes them.
