Sakura_kura A poetry contest seems like a good idea, what about an art contest or a character contest. Something like that-it could award house points. Yes! contests are good! Poetry, (short) fanfics, art, RP characters, wacky things (most unlikely... whatever). Lots of contests, awarding lots of house points, because bloody Gryffindor is winning and that must be fixed!

I don't know how much a contest is going to "fix" that for you. wink But anyway, I really like the idea of contests, but I was wondering, (at the risk of sounding greedy, though I'm really not) would it be possible to also get a prize in addition to house points? As a poor newbie, I could use something to help me get some better clothes biggrin

Yes donate to Leaper29, not the thing on the front page. I can't access that account, Leaper only signs on every wednesday though, so she won't immidiatly confirm your trade.

In the Housecup thread.
The colors.
Gryffindor is Dark Red.
Slytherin is Green.
Hufflepuff is yellow.
But why is Ravenclaw Red?

You know we add house points? Maybe for the past 5 or 10 added there could be a post in the housepoint board that says why they've been added?

I think that would take too much effort/space. I mean, they don't do that in the books.
How about, if not already suggested; an art competition?
Also, something i started in LSG; a newspaper. Although i don't really want to make a newspaper this time, i'm having enough crap with it already. But just throwing it a=out there for any of you who would like to do that.
We could also do best fan-fic/short story, Harry Potter related or not. I'd like to write a fan-fic actually. If i ever get to not being so procrastinatory.
