Andragoran
Helios let out an indignant yelp at being stuffed into the Kangaskhan's pouch. He squirmed uncomfortably, obviously not enjoying being 'babied' as much as Althena had.

"My friend here is right," Keegan added, glowering at the two cosplaying trainers. "Perhaps if you spent more time training with your Pokemon instead of pretending to be Pokemon, the battle would have had a different outcome." Ignoring the Vulpix's pleas for help, as well as the annoyed shouts and comments from the costume-bound duo, Keegan dismissed them with a small wave. He slipped one hand into the pocket of his long, black coat, beckoning towards Dante with the other as he walked towards the Pokemon Center. "Come on, let's get out of here. I've had enough fun for one night."

((That's it...all of page 26, oddly enough, was saved. Everything up to this point has been counted, so no EXP is lost at all. Thank goodness for that, at least. And yes, I used the quote option. Sue me.

I'm going over here now before I screw anything else up. gonk ))

Jacob smiled at Casimir's actions, but said nothing of it. "Okay Riley, give him a Fury Cutter," the boy directed. The Farfetch'd, having a definite speed advantage over Casimir, raced forward, brandishing his leek like a sword. Its movements were surprisingly fluid for a duck, and with a deft strike, it landed a critical hit on the Absol's shoulder.

"Hang in there, Cas!" Kasiya shouted. "You can do it, use your Razor Wind!" Casimir pawed the ground, and jumped back, putting space between himself and Riley. He thrashed his head back and forth as he summoned up a small vortex of swirling wind, his silvery fur ruffling in the breeze he'd stirred up. As predicted, Riley came in swinging for another Fury Cutter, which hit its mark, but didn't do nearly as much damage as the aforementioned critical. Casimir chose his timing carefully, and loosed the blast of wind just as the Farfetch'd completed its attack. The duck Pokemon was flung backwards in a flurry of feathers, landing harshly on the ground several feet away. It wasn't over yet, however, as Riley jumped back up to his feet and came charging right back, his leek rapier raised high once again.

Shortly after their reunion, Jaeshan and company had finished a simple, yet satisfying lunch, and they headed outside. Jaeshan had his sights set on the Vermilion Gym, but first, he opted to use the new TMs he'd picked up in Saffron City. He pulled out the TM case, and opened it, flipping past the HMs he'd collected thus far. "I hope you guys appreciate this," he grinned, as he held up a purple disc and beckoned for Weepinbell to come forward. The Grass-type did as he was told; the prospect of a new attack was rather exciting. The trainer held out the disc, which Weepinbell promptly grabbed with his vine, and shoved it into his mouth. Jaeshan blinked, but the Flycatcher's face became serious for a moment, so he assumed that it worked. He held out his hand once more, but there was a loud snap, followed by a crunching noise. Jaeshan felt his stomach turn but shrugged; from what he could remember, the acids inside Weepinbell could digest anything. "Did it work?" he asked, only to have Weepinbell reply by firing a blast of sludge, which splattered harmlessly on the ground nearby. "I guess it did, then. Congratulations Weepinbell. You now know Sludge Bomb."

((Thats ok Anya! How did it all save though.... Thats weird... Oh well.))

Grinning at the pokemon cosplayers and sticking out his tounge one more time at them he turned to follow Keegan. "Well I hope that beat them up made you excited for your battle tomarrow. I know it made me think that a certain new pokemon needs some training." He said glancing over his shoulder to see Moeder and Helios following them. He grinned appologeticly back at the little fox but made no move to recall the Kangaskhan. When they made it into the pokemon center Dante gave a jaw cracking yawn. "Well I don't know about you but I need some rest." He muttered. Reaching down into his bag again he pulled out the empty Safari Ball and recalling the large Kangaskhan. Kenny who had been silently floating over his shoulder, and Meowth who had left a while ago to do, well Dante didn't know what he wanted to do. Going up to the counter he placed five pokeballs down. "Nurse Joy if you could heal these for me by morning that would be wonderful." He said holding back another yawn.

Helios managed to free himself from Moeder's pouch, heaving a relieved sigh as the Kangaskhan was recalled. The Vulpix dashed to catch up to his trainer, a noticeable fatigue in his strides. Keegan smiled at him and scooped him up. "You're awesome, as usual." Helios agreed, closing his eyes and resting his head on Keegan's shoulder.

The duo made their way into the Pokemon Center along with Dante, Keegan silently cursing his friend, for those yawns were contagious. He put the already-soundly sleeping Helios into his Poke Ball, and placed it along with the others on a tray. He then headed back over to a couch, and pulled off his black overcoat and gloves, tossing them into a nearby chair as he flopped down. "Tomorrow," he sighed, leaning back and closing his eyes. "Tomorrow never comes, and yesterday was never here..." His thoughts drifted back to the odd dream he'd had while they were on the train. He still had no idea what it could mean, and he could still hear Kasiya's voice in his mind as she spoke to him. "He, who takes his name from the sun-god, and shines like gold upon the sea of stars, has gone astray. Until you are made whole gain, the gods forbid you to enter this place." He sighed, shaking his head. What did it mean? Who had gone astray? And why couldn't he enter Lavaridge gym?

Plopping down on the couch across from Keegan Dante tossed his own black trench coat over the back of the couch. Removing the long feather from around his neck he riffled through his messenger bag, that seemed to be a bottomless pit. Pulling out black Pajama bottoms and a shirt that had to be at least five sizes to big he wondered over to the bathroom to change and wash up. Glancing over he spotted a shower in there as well and figured that he would take one in the morning. That all done he wondered back into the main room. Seeing that Meowth was back, and sleeping in the middle of the couch he sighed and deciding not to move the spoiled talking cat pokemon he fell back into the back of the couch. "Well good night. Get rested up for your gym battle tomarrow morning."

Jaeshan called over Nidoking next, who stomped his large feet loudly as he approached. Nidoking then knelt down, looking at Jaeshan with appreciation as his trainer held up not one, but two discs - one purple, the other a metallic silver. First, Nidoking learned Sludge Bomb, just like Weepinbell. Next, he learned the move that had inspired Jaeshan yesterday, during the battle with Lisa and her Nidoqueen. "Iron Tail," Jaeshan said proudly, letting out a startled cry as a glob of sludge flew through the air and splattered in Nidoking's face. The drill Pokemon gave an enraged cry, and charged at the perpetrator, who happened to be Weepinbell. With a grunt, Nidoking slashed the air with his tail, watching as it shone with a silvery radiance before striking Weepinbell and sending him flying about forty feet away. "Home run, Nidoking," Jaeshan sighed, shaking his head. Would his Pokemon ever learn to behave in public? This proved not to be the case as Nidoking went running past him just then, and Jaeshan had to duck in order to avoid being sliced by the dual Razor Leaves that Weepinbell had fired at Nidoking in retaliation for hitting him with Iron Tail. Jaeshan grumbled something about immaturity as he held up their Pokeballs, and recalled them both.

He looked around at the town in front of him, a blank expression on his face. The Gym loomed close by and he knew that he'd be entering shortly. However, who were these 'Eevee Sisters' that Trish was talking about? If they were in Ecruteak, where exactly were they? Kilik clicked his tongue and began to walk forward. The Pokemon Center was adjacent from the Gym, and the boy decided to rest up there for a moment.

He walked through the electronic sliding door and looked around. It was pretty glum. Even Nurse Joy looked down. Sure, Ecruteak was the home of a Ghost-type Gym Leader, but was everyone so down? Recalling Flareon into his Pokeball, Kilik placed all six orbs onto the tray and handed it to the Nurse. She smiled softly and walked away. Taking a cue from a business man, Kilik took a seat. The man was reading a newspaper, then glanced over at him. He then looked back at the paper. The boy raised an eyebrow. With a sigh, he slid down his seat slightly. "Excuse me," he whispered, tapping the man lightly on the shoulder.

"Yes, yes? What is it?" he grumbled.

"Could you tell me," Kilik began, "where these Eevee Sisters are?"

The man's jaw dropped lightly and then he laughed. "Oh ho! You wish to challenge the five Kimono Sisters!" There was a loud crinkling from his newspaper as he folded it up and put it into his briefcase that was hidden behind the chair, "I've challenged them many times, yet...I have failed. Say!" the man looked over at Kilik, "I'll give you something should you happen to defeat them."

The boy stood up and walked over to the counter, taking his Pokeballs and clipping them onto his belt one by one. When he was leaving, he looked over at the man, "Then come watch me beat all five in a row. No stops, no rests." Kilik smirked and headed out the sliding door, the man following closely behind.

Last but not least, Jaeshan motioned for Butterfree to come over. The butterfly did, floating slowly over to her trainer and resting on the ground in front of him. "This is Psychic. It's far more powerful than your Confusion or Psybeam," he told her, holding it out for her to see. She sniffed at it, and nodded in approval, closing her eyes and eagerly waiting for the TM to be applied. Jaeshan did just that, watching in amazement as the pinkish disc soon faded to a dull, steely grey. Butterfree looked up at him then, understanding flashing in her eyes. "Want to try it out?" he asked, and she nodded eagerly, focusing hard on the useless discs in his hand. Soon, she'd levitated all three of them, and had them orbiting around her body like three moons. Her face still set in deep concentration, she gave a sharp cry, and caused one of them to shatter. She repeated this process until all the discs were broken, their fragments falling to the ground around her like a crystalline snow. "Great," Jaeshan applauded, but stopped as the butterfly faltered a little. She hadn't been flying, but the trainer suspected that she was still very weak and tired. Deciding it best to give Butterfree some more rest, he recalled her, as well as Mightyena and Bagon, picked up Torchic and continued walking towards the gym.

"G'night, Dante," Keegan replied, opening one eye. He remained sitting in that spot for quite some time before he moved. The normal daily nurse had taken over for the night shift, and both trainers' Pokemon had been fully healed. Standing up, Keegan stretched out his body, his spine making a few welcome cracking noises as he straightened it out. "So much for a good night's rest," he sighed, checking his watch and noting the time. "Twelve o'clock, and all is well." He moved silently across the room, as not to wake up Dante or the other patrons who'd joined them for the evening, and took his Pokemon back, smiling as each one was returned to their places on the strap he wore around his waist. He then ventured outside, the cool summer air giving him a slight chill as he looked up at the clear, starry sky. All was quiet in town, save for the casino, which he could see down the street; its neon lights blinking and flashing. Why anyone would want to waste their hard-earned money in a place like that was a mystery to him, and he soon forgot about it as he continued to walk. He passed by the mart, dark and empty for the night, thinking that soon he should restock on supplies. He had little or no empty Poke Balls left, he couldn't remember; and he also figured it would be a good time to pick up a few potions and other healing items. He studied his reflection in the window for a few moments, chuckling at how much he stood out in the dark with his pristine white shirt. He stood there for a few more moments before he continued walking, hoping the night air would calm him enough so that he'd be able to sleep.

"Come on Spinarak, let it go. Let's try and make friends with M.A. and her pokemon." Spinarak became docile once again at Crenu's command. The mean face on her back turned back into a smiley face. Spinarak crawled down Crenu's body and across the field over to M.A.'s feet. She gently rubbed her head against M.A.'s leg and started to climb up her body.

((Dude all my pokemon have names that start with an 'S' sound.))

"Nice job you two." Mag said applauding their effort so far. "Now how about we work on your combination moves?" Mag said releasing Sunfire and Tsunami. "Take it a little easier on them okay guys?" Mag directed at the two new comers. "Just a bit of training. So let's start out with a Surf from you Tsunami.

Complying to the order Tsunami's eyes glew (or glowed?) a pale green-blue as she formed a column of water about herself. Then crying out the column spread into a row and cascaded forth at the two Eevee.
Hoping her plan would work Shining ran up to Shadow. The two exchanged hushed words and then stared down the oncoming wave of doom. Shadow took the lead running head first at it. Shining stood back a few paces and then focused. Her body have off several golden-orange orbs of energy. Floating on they came down upon the charging Shadow. Upon impact with him a golden semi-barrier formed about him as he rushed through the wave in a Tackle attack. Thus slicing through it and taking far less damage than it would have normally. Shining followed after in the small hole also recieveing minimal damage.

It was a decent amount of time that was spent walking to the building that the business man led Kilik to. The outside was rather dull, but upon opening the door, the facade that was shown outside became meaningless. It was extravagant - extraordinary - inside of that theatre. Blue cushions dotted the floor and there were five girls dancing on the wooden stage that was raised a foot of the ground. Each girl was dressed in a different colored kimono. From left to right, Kilik examined each woman's color carefully. If they were the Eevee Sisters that he's been told about, then each one trained a different Eevee.

The man looked at him. "Each of their kimonos represents the different Eevee evolution that they train," he explained, "For example, the one on the far left," he pointed to the one in a burnt orange kimono, "That's Frana. She trains the Flareon." Kilik crossed his arms and then looked at the others.

"What about the rest? What're their names and Pokemon?" Although it was quite obvious as to which Eevee evolution was granted to which sister, hearing someone else's voice as nice for a change and Kilik wasn't going to let it up.

The man pointed to the next in line, a girl in a ocean-colored kimono. "Her name, dear boy, is Vepirna. She, of course, has Vaporeon. Also, she's the most 'mellow' of the sisters." The girl in the middle was dressed in a very electric yellow kimono. "Joslena. She's sweet, but will change on you at the drop of a hat. Care to fancy a guess as to which she trains?"

"Jolteon," he said simply, "And the next girl trains Espeon followed by the Umbreon trainer. It's obvious." Kilik slipped his hands into his jeans.

"You don't miss a beat, boy," the suited man smiled through his bushy mustache. The mustache he had reminded Kilik of his father. Then again, if this man was his father, surely he would've known. Maybe the walrus mustache was popular among men that age. "Yes, yes. That is Esprina," he whispered about the woman in the purple kimono. She spun softly, the most elegant of the five sisters. "She's my favorite," the man nudged Kilik in the arm softly with his elbow.

"She's obviously many years younger than you," Kilik said simply without breaking his eyes away from them, "Don't be a pervert. Now, tell me. What's the name of the last sister?"

"Umbra," the man coughed, ignoring Kilik's comment and continuing to look on. Umbra was dressed in a midnight colored kimono. Her appearance was much more distant than the other sisters.

Kilik nodded and began to walk away from the man. "I expect my prize once I defeat all five of them. That was the deal, right?" When the man nodded, Kilik took it upon himself to stand in front of the first of the five sisters.

"Queeny use Double Kick again!" Toph ordered, after a little research she knew fighting moves did the most damage again'st Normal types. Queeny grinned and launched her two back legs again at the Jigglypuff. The attack hit right on target and the attack still didn't do much damage and the small pink pokemon didn't budge from where she was.

"I knew you would use that move again. Jiggly use Disable!" Uncurling from her ball the Jigglypuff waved her arms around for a moment before Queeny began to glow. After a moment the light died down and Queeny was temporarily unable to use Double Kick.

Frowning, not liking that her pokemons most effective move wouldn't work on the other pokemon. "Queeny just keep up Tackle the little puff ball!" She ordered. Queeny nodded and dashing forward she attempted to Tackle the Jigglypuff. That didn't go off exactly how it should as the Jigglypuff jumped to the side. Growling Queeny just chased after it attempting to hit the flexible pokemon. However luck wasn't on Toph or Queeny's side as none of the attacks hit. "Queeny you need to attack where the pokemon is going to be not where it is." Toph shouted in irritation, she could feel through the ground which way the pokemon was going to jump next.

Casting an irritated look back at her trainer Queeny snorted before deciding to follow her trainers advice. Watching the Jigglypuff move she charged again hoping that she would get it right this time. Jumping to the left just in time Queeny felt her attack hit the Jigglypuff. The pink balloon gave a small suprised cry before rolling back a few paces.

The Jigglypuff pushed itself up again but suddenly felt something wrong. With the full body Tackle just landed on her one of the points on Queeny had caused her to become poisoned. Glaring at the Nidoran the Jigglypuff puffed itself up angrily before deciding that she would do a status effect as well. Opening her mouth she started to sing a beautiful song, that swiftly put Queeny to sleep.

Taken by surprise at the nice-looking face upon Spinerak's back, she too began to relax towards the Spinerak, albeit a blue quiver struck her as the Pokemon commenced to climb up her like a tree. This sensation of crawling legs, eight of them, was like being stuck on a roller-coaster that one realizes a second after it starts that it is way, way too much. Still, she endured the queasiness (after all, it's too late to get off the rollercoaster after it begins), and felt much better when the Spinerak had found itself on her shoulder and the creepy-crawly feeling had stopped. "Hey, fella," she whispered shakily, patting the horned head gingerly, feeling the Bug-type's good intentions.

See? They're sweeties, really, she thought to herself, although she still felt a bit tense. Well, one couldn't expect her to totally get over her insect-phobia in a matter of minutes, after all. But at least now she figured she'd be able to take on Bugsy. . .

"Thanks, guys," she said appreciately, looking from Ky and Crenu to their Pokemon.

Daemyn, still-blindfolded by Ulani, began to run around in circles vigorously, trying to shake off the persistent Swablu. She hug on like white on rice, though, despite crying and laughing.
