Alturius chuckled. "First off, I want you to know that I like you, that's not an easy feat. You see, we seem to share a certain... How do I put this... a certain... opinion on women in general." Waving his hand to silence any potential outburst from his statement. "My prior statement aside, my feelings are very much aligned with yours, I think that, should the need arise, you would be useful to call on in the case I were to need a wingman. Your brother, a nice enough young man I'm sure, seems a bit too shy, too introverted for such a task, and I think his view of females is a bit different from our own, yes?"
Alturius was playing the crowd, something he'd learned early that was a necessity, you had to play each person differently, to let them think you weren't against their views or ways of living. Even if you hated them. If you played them right, they would listen to you, and eventually they would follow you, you just had to maintain the proper level of charisma and the necessary words at the right place at the right time. It was a difficult game, and it required many, many masks, something Alturius was learning, was a hard thing to keep running for long. Facades were hard to uphold in certain situations.
Dil proved to be an interesting challange, so Alturius set it in his mind, that he would take his other cousin aside after he was done with Mel and have a nice long chat.
"Now, let's return to the others, and do, do try your best to look admodished, and apologize several times to Anila, while women are usually better 'in bed' as you so eloquently put it, they do have minds and egos like us, and it doesn't hurt to stroke their ego, or play to their sympathetic nature. So, do try to look like I chewed you right out, and apologize, I know you have already, but just keep it up, it helps, especially if you can fake sincerity." That was something Alturius was learning he was able to do in spades.
He would have them dancing to his tune soon enough, just a little more time.
Draping his arm around Mel's shoulder, he patted it fondly, and started walking them back towards Anila.
Don't let them talk, do all the talking, and one day you will be the leader of them all!

Mel thought his words over for a moment before a twisted smile formed on his lips. He like his cousin, he afterall thought the same way he did. Giving a nod he gave a frown as he rub the back of his head. He learned at a young age how the sad face would get anyone to believe he had been yelled at. Looking down at the ground he kicks a rock as they drew closer to Anila "Look Ani I wanted to say I'm sorry again. I should have known better. I promise you I don't think that way, it was just out of anger."
Anila who was laying down right Dil's head on her stomach look up at them both. Her hand that was running through Dil's hair pauses before she nods "Its fine, I know it was but you really should watch what you say." looking away from them she returns to humming softly as she runs her fingers through Dil's hair.
Now Dil who was very quiet knew from the glare on his brother's face wasn't happy. He knew out of the two of them he understood girls better so they seem to come flocking to him. It was the one advantage he had to Mel, he truely was a ladies man.

Alturius chuckled and looked down at Dil. "Hey Dil, can I speak to you alone for a mintue or two?" He asked. "I would really like to get to know you better, seeing as we haven't really met." Bowing a little, he smiled at Anila.
He put her off to the side in his mind now, so far, she was off limits.

Dil actually arches a brow before he nods standing up. Brushing his pants off he shrugs allowing his cousin to lead on. He was being careful around Alturius only because there was apart of him inside that he didn't understand telling him to be.
Mel plops down next to Anila as he watches his twin. Shaking his head he looks over at Anila, his eyes running over her figure, she was a beauty, but he also knew she was a viper when angry so he wouldn't push buttons.
Closing her eyes Anila place her hands above her head as she relaxes allowing the sun to bath her skin. It felt good to relax even if it was only or a few minutes.

Alturius lead Dil away from the others. Dil seemed wary, and that threw Alturius off, he wanted to frown but pushed that feeling aside. He had to keep a unified pleasent front with all of them, if he was going to work his tendrils in deep.
"So Dil, what do you like?" He asked him, turning and looking over his shoulder once they reached the proper distance so that the others couldn't hear. Alturius had a better time one on one, but he would need to learn how to move whole groups soon, if he was ever going to get anywhere.

Dil frowns before he shakes his head "Let just get to the point, I don't like you. Your nothing but a conartist to me. I don't know what it is about you, but I don't trust you. And I'm sure as hell not going to let you get any where near Ani. She doesn't need someone like you destroying her." crossing his arms his eyes took on a serious look before he nods "So are we done because I rather not talk to you." he was going to be a tough one to win over.

Alturius laughed, shaking his head slowly, finally wiping his eyes with the back of his hand. He was truely tickled.
"Walk with me Dil," He said, wrapping an arm around his cousin's shoulder and leading him on, more away from the others.
"I have to say, I am suprised that you have seen right through me, but worry not about Anila, or Ani as you call her. She is off limits to me, and as much as I would like to attempt to make a move on her, I sense in her a wall that I will probably not surmount, so I don't think I should waste the effort. She is a beautiful woman I'm sure you agree, but no, I will not 'destroy' her as you so eloquently put it,"
Shaking his head he chuckled. "Yet, at the same time, I think that, you and I could get along, if you were to try. Surely you're curious as to what possiblities there are to be had with people?" Turning to look at Dil he smiled broadly. "I plan to be a leader on this isle one day, to lead it to greatness, I will need a man like you on my side, one who can see deep into the root of a matter, who can seemingly break people apart." A light chuckle escaped Alturius' lips as they walked and he talked.
"I think that, once you get to know me better, you will discover that I'm not that bad of a person, and I am worthy of your love as a family member. But until then, I will suffer your dislike gladly, if that is what you wish." Removing his arm from Dil's shoulder he bowed a bit.

Dil frowns as he listens to Alturius's words, deep down he was just slightly curious. Though it was something he never let anyone know, just because that would be his downfall. Uncrossing his arms he was slightly glad that his cousin wouldn't try anything when it came to Ani. He had seen her go through the worse and for the first time she seem happy, he wanted that to stay.
Sighing he shook his head "My mother would be ashamed of me right now for me judging you. But you are right I can just by watching people figure out who they are. I see a strong leader in you, but I also see someoen who will go to any length to get it. So being on your side might be a good thing." rubbing the back of his head he smiles.
He knew the game to, allow them to think what they want. His brother played it often, but very badly. While he had to be charming and sincere to get his way.

Alturius smiled warmly, though his mood was ice cold.
Bugger, he plays a good game...
"Thank you, and you are right, I would go to any length to get it... But I don't take betrayl well, if you decide to stick with me, you're stuck..." The tone was warm, but the undertone told Dil that there was no lie to his words, if he threw his hat in with Alturius, he was stuck with Alturius until one of them died.
And Alturius definatly intended it to not be himself.

Dil looks back over at his brother and Ani "Alright you have my mind, and liek my mother I won't turn my back on family. Might be unsure about them at first, but that is just a defense in me." looking back at his cousin he holds his hand out towards him "So we call truth and get back to the other two before I have to beat my brother up?" his smile although it seem simple had a different meaning behind it.
He was the quiet one that was for sure, but it was his way of learning someone. He hid his powers as well as his strength real well.
Mel just sat there gazing at Ani, he couldn't help it, not with her just laying there for the taking. Shaking his head he looks away from her for a moment before looking back at her.
Anila seem to be so content that she let down the defense she had which allowed her to know if someone was watching her. Moving her hand she lay it on her stomach.

Alturius nodded, but didn't take the hand, instead he walked over, and sat down next to the other two. He saw Dil as a means to an end, nothing more, if he could convert Dil, he knew he could convert the others.
"So then, everyone, what shall we do to whittle away the hours we have left before we all grow bored and decide to all make our ways home?"
He turned to look at Dil, as if seeking a suggestion.

Dil frowns slightly before he shrugs alittle "Well how about a swim, being a nice day I think that would be rather fun." he looks towards his twin hoping that would at least get his attention.
Mel glances over before he nods "Swimming sounds good. Last one there has to clean up baby diapers!!" kicking up off the ground he race towards the lake intending to be the first on there.
Ani shakes her head alittle "I'm just gonna lay here and enjoy the sun. You boys go and enjoy yourself."lifting her hand she waves them off before letting it drop back down on her stomach.
Shrugging Dil walks towards the lake slipping into the water. He knew Ani would be fine.

"Actually I'll sit here with you," Alturius chuckled, "I'm not overly fond of swiming," Truth be told he wanted to probe Anila's mind, see where she stood on things.
"So... Anila..." he said once the two other males were somewhat out of earshot. "Dil tells me you're off limits, care to clarify that?"
Truth be told, he'd rather get that out in the open.

Anila chuckles as she opens one eye "I was wondering when you would ask that." sitting up slightly she pushes her hand through her hair "Dil very protective of me, only because of the trouble I have been in. So I guess it would depend on what your looking for when you ask if I am off limits." she wanted to see what he was looking for.
Being a women she was very careful in what she would answer, more so what she was willing to tell anyone.

Alturius laughed a bit. "What I am looking for is fun, I.E. Make outs with no strings attached. I love 'em and leave 'em, that's my M.O." Shaking his head slowly he smirked. "Did that to Cala, she's wrapped around my little fingers, which I have to say I regret somewhat, but not overly much, she was fun, and will be again, I do need to meet her man however, and befriend him,"
Alturius was strange like that.
"Usually though, I will only play with other people's things if those things want to be played with, however, I am not above seduction," He was being honest with Anila, because he knew Dil would try to warn her off anyway.
"I will be a great leader eventually, but I will never have a 'queen', because this is how I am, I don't want comitment, I just want two consenting parties enjoying themselves, I have no need for a steady relationship, not now at least, later perhaps, if I can find the sutable mate, who can be all the things I need her to be, but I doubt that very much so, I need a varity pack, not a single woman," Chuckling a little he looked Anila in the eyes. "And women, having so many minds, tend to get a bit ruffled when they realize that I only want a certain aspect of them, and not the whole package."
