Hey, it's their loss. I don't particularly care, as long as I get the book back.

nah, in fact, a few of my friends are avoiding me right now because they're scared of the author of the book I'm currently reading! XD

I don't really care @__@ Most of my friends read the same books I do, anyway.

Not really, most of my friends are interested in the same types of books, so I almost never feel offended.

I normaly say,"Well,if you didn't like it that's ok." Come on, if they didn't like the book, there are always others out there.

it wouldn't bother me, unless they say, "This book was so stupid, I completly hated it, the author should be killed!'
Then I would have to hit them over the head with the book.

No, not really.
Because alot of times my friends reccomend me books that I hate. I just feel sorry for them that they couldn't feel what I felt when I've read that book.

My family aren't the biggest readers and usually they ignore my book recomendations so I learned not to take it personally. Plus I've had people tell me they think the books I've read suck and others really liked them. Also my friend and I share complete different opionions on books so most of the books that I recommened to her she just doesn't like. Though if someone just says it really rude I take it personally

Not everyone is going to like the same things. If someone had all the same opinions as you about everything, wouldn't you get bored with them?

As long as they give it a chance I don't mind if they don't like it.
But if I suggest a book to someone, and they read the back and saythey're not interested it annoys me a little

I totally agree, they should at least read it to see if they like it or not. A book can look very boring if you only read the back, but if you read it you might find you really liked it.

Depends on how much I liked the book and how they reacted. If I liked it but it's not my favorite, I won't mind that much. But if it's one of my favorites, I get pretty offended. If they react reasonably and explain why they didn't like it intelligently, then I won't mind. If they are really rude and obnoxious and insulting about it, then I get VERY offended.

Yeah, I feel bad and am slightly disappointed but I don't get angry about it. Mostly it's when they don't even read the book that bothers me.

I normally don't give my friends recomendations because we all have different tastes, so I only recomend books I know for sure they'll like. Which is very rare.

Though, I gave my German teacher a book recomendation. I don't know if he'll read it though. He likes many different types of books. He's 6 feet and 4 inches tall, very intimidating at times, and he reads girly teenager books. He's a great teacher!
