Sp0RkTheKitty Hirashio It amuses me that you have a picture of Manson and don't know what ftw means. Which is all right since many people don't, but I just found amusement in that. "Ftw" to me means, "******** the World". Not, sure if it has other meanings. FTW is WTF backwards.. Simple xD Or whatever you would like it to mean. I've also seen it used as "for the win," but not very often. As in...I've seen maybe two or three people use it that way. Ever. It's like a conspiracy. "Let's come up with as many meanings for the same acronym as we can and confuse the s**t out of the literate minority!" FTW ( sweatdrop )

"FTW" Is used at times in place of "PWNS" or whatever else you can think of. "For the win" is often heard in games like Warcraft 3. There's a pleasant amount of illiterate spam in there everyday.

Ah, sorry I've not been here, I kinda forgot about this place >_<
Anyway, FTW usually means For The Win in my experience, it's used a lot on quite a few forums.
E.g: CHAINSAW NUNCHUCKS FTW!
(Chainsaw Nunchucks were featured recently in a webcomic called Dr. McNinja, and it sorta ripped off the Sword- Chucks idea from a more well- known webcomic, 8-Bit Theater)

You can clearly see that the first letter is not the same as the H in the middle. And why would the person bother with writing haha when they can write lol or rofl?
(I'm not saying my translation is right though, mine was just a guess.)
