jellysundae i'm not sure if i'll participate mush more, i was just going for the next lot of gold but it didn't seem to be forthcoming, i think i'vr got 5 necklaces now. i did get to kiss a rather sexy alien though heart Wow, that's interesting hair! I suppose the guys got new hair in the recent salon update too, but I never saw/looked at the guy hair! I don't have a guy avi to play around with anyway.. except if I go on tektek. The other day I was trying to pick out a varied look for Cookie (she got new oven mitts and a dress and different shoes!) and I found a hairstyle I like for her, but the salon was disabled.

magikjaz thanks everyone for helping me with my thread! it's now closed How many winners did you wind up having? Actually, let me go check the thread for updates, even though I'm guessing we can't post in them anymore. I hope we can still read them! Oh, refreshed my event page and here are my totals: Kisses Given : 107 Kisses Received: 63 EDIT - Wow, jazzy! Those are awesome and fun prizes you gave away! I like the idea for the every 10th page bump, and faithful bumpers/rollers. 3nodding Hehe!! And I just read the whitelist *glomp*! heart xd

magikjaz in the purkle event thread I don't think I take enough advantage of gaia and the like. I stay pretty quiet most of the time and don't talk to anyone I don't already know from neo. Which kinda sucks cuz I hear everyone else talking about the great people they meet here, but I'm too damn shy to meet anyone else. I've actually met some other adults recently from fishing in 21+ or Over 30 rooms in Gambino and Durem. One lady, loves2read, has started an over 30 guild that I'm welcome to join come August, and another lady I talked to yesterday in a 21+ room named NordicFairy is actually in her 40's and has a 17 year old daughter on here.

Yeah, I'm posting 4 times in a row, but that's more gold, yeah? wink
I'm so excited about all the shopping we did yesterday in Santa Fe for Valentine's Weekend! Our plan was to look for a Nintendo Wii (which has been evading Jason many times, and he's lost sleep over it), have Valentine's dinner at Red Lobster, and maybe look at furniture bedroom sets because I've wanted a headboard I can lean against (so I don't have to lay on my back to read; not good for the baby), some nightstands for our clocks and lamps (I've been using a box since we moved in 2 years ago), and one of those wide dressers which I thought maybe we could put a TV on.
Well, Jason didn't find a Wii, but Target in Santa Fe had a couple Playstation 3's, which is something else Jason's been holding out for, and although it's a LOT more expensive, just the value of the Blu-Ray DVD player in it is worth the cost. He was SO excited to find/get one that he was calling everybody we know on our new Alltel phones (we finally switched service since T-Mobile gets little to no signal in our house, and jazzy, our numbers are the same) and he was such a pushover from his new excitement that Jade managed to come home with a nice stash of things she wanted from Target and Walmart too! It was like Christmas all over again for her, with a new Spring outfit, 3 Barbie movies she didn't already have for $5.50 each, a Cabbage Patch Newborn, and a Bratz doll.
I actually found 2 things I wanted to use some of my long-saved cash for and bought myself a $10 pink camouflage purse with a lot of pockets and a $38 jewelry armoire. I hardly ever find stuff I want to spend money on! And then at American Home Furnishings I fell in love with the very last bedroom set we saw, which we almost missed because it was in an unlikely spot, and that's being delivered on Thursday. The clencher for me was that one of the bedposts (and the one on my side, too!) opens up to reveal a hidden velvet-lined jewelry box. It was a big spend.. I think the most money we've spent at once not counting car/house purchases, but I've had a few k in settlement money sitting in savings for a couple years from a car accident we had in 04, and I think it's money well spent!
Wheew, just had to share! 4laugh

shopping has that effect fawN, glad you've got so many nice new things! the little jewellery drawer on the bedpost is such a lovely thing! have you worn your gorgeous new necklace yet?
that alien's hair isn't available in the salon, He's an NCP (Flarn) so he's got his own style, notice he's wearing the Gunner coat but his isn't buttoned up over the face as it is for everyone else, looks far nicer on him i think, if it looked like that for everyone i'd buy one myself 3nodding

Yeah, I've been wearing the ruby every day since we got it! I often do that.. get a new necklace and wear it for months until I get another. But I was thinking this time I should put my jewelry out where it's more accessible so I can switch more often, hence the jewelry armoire!
I'll have to look up (NPC) Flarn and get a proper picture to save! xd Thanks!
