I adore Marc Bolan to a nearly unhealthy point heart Sure, Gary Glitter's a pervert, but I still like his music. Also, Jobriath was very good. I love glam rock in general.

I'm a big fan of practically anyone who sang with Bowie. I know they aren't glam rock but I LOVE Placebo.

Kawaii Kokezaru I know they aren't glam rock but I LOVE Placebo. Yeah, but there is a certain glaminess (I know it's not a word) to Placebo though. I love them too.

Enooo. heart And Iggy Pop, if he counts. He should. I've never heard any of Marc Bolan, which may be a sin against sin for all I know. Or maybe I have and I don't realize it yet.

Raziya I've never heard any of Marc Bolan, which may be a sin against sin for all I know. Or maybe I have and I don't realize it yet. I weep for your soul... Okay, bit dramatic. wink But really, you've never heard any T. Rex? "Bang a Gong", "20th Century Boy", anything?

T. Rex, Alice Cooper and bbits of Roxy Music and The New York Dolls. I can't stand Gary Glitter though, he annoys the hell out of me. Even his look drives me nuts!
Jorbiath I'm a bit on the fence with, I've only heard one song so I can't really judge him too much... anybody got any recommendations?

I love other glam bands.
T. Rex, The Sweet, Alice Cooper, The Sparks, Elton John, Mott the Hoople, and more.
Glam rock is my favorite sub-genre of rock music.

I Just Got 'Here Come the Warm Jets' from Brian Eno, and Nerve Net ( even though that's more like a techno album ) HCTHWJ is one of the best albums of time. Yeah so i like Brian Eno as well.
