So they both copied a book? W.e I think it was quite a good movie...despite the fact that it copied a holllywood film. I think the Indian twists and the wonderful songs were awesome as well. The comedy level was the right amount, and hey, if you want to follow the crowd whatever.

Honestly, a lot of films can't be perfect. I enjoyed a lot of films that the media deemed as practically unwatchable and miserable to watch it. I loved KANK and S-E-I and I was alarmed to see that they did horrible and people hated it. : (S-E-I could have been shortened, but it was fine. smile )

lawl I know that happens to me too!
Like if you remember the film Yaadein? Well, that didn't do well and I remember liking it
and Rocky not so much but it still PASSED for me
but to me, I See You's only fault is copyin' and hey, a ton of movies have done that.
OMG ya do have to see it though! I thought some parts were so hilarious! I like quoted them out for my friends and they were laughing as well (cuz of course they would never want to see a film in like another language xD).
And the songs are amazing! I stop myself from listening to them cuz i dun wanna get bored of em xD itz sad.
KANK...well I didn't like that film because it ended with the cheaters getting their way...I saw it very recently, like a couple of days ago...and I did like how there were random twists, like I was SO sure that Preity and Abhishek would cheat (prob not with each other) and that the other 2 wouldn't....but I REALLY REALLY wanted Preity to cheat with Arjun Rampal biggrin lawl xD I was in a I See You mode ... At least he got her in the end...sort of.
I love how he was like "Oh, the only prob. is that you're married...but that doesn't really matter right?" And she is like " It matters to me"
and then later one he is like the sweetest guy ever and is like "I'll wait for you..." xD
What I really loved from that film is the song "Where's The Party Tonight?"
<3 it! (though the rest of the songs were a bit slow for me) Yep, it was so funny how much I wanted preity to cheat lawl!
I haven't seen S-E-I :0

LOL. When I first watched it, I didn't know it was Arjun Rampal (I have grown so much since then), and I laughed my a** off on how dorky he was on how desperately he wanted Preity. Still, at the end, I thought it was so cute he would wait around until Preity was ready to begin dating again. Such a cutie!
I haven't seen Yaadein yet. : There are a lot of movies that do horrible at the box office, but are still worth it to watch it. Baabul, which was worth it (mostly because of John Abraham wink ), was lengthy but should have done better in the box office. sad
About Where's The Party Tonight--I loved that song when it first came out, but by now I can't stand it at all. My favorite is actually Mitwa. And the video is just too cute! heart

When did ya start watching bollywood? xD How could ya not know it was him? Did ya like not know who the heck he was or didn't notice?
Yeh, I look back and I am like " I haven't seen anything with Mr. Rampal" and then I like go on youtube and am like "Oh, that was him...whoops!" lawl.
Mitwa was to slow for me D: and I didn't like how it was the CHEATERS' songs...which prob made me hate it more.
I like the vid for Where's the party tonight cuz it shows john abraham in like a totally enclosed dj box...and yet his hair blows (as usual) lawl. Indians have the hair blowing thing DOWN! xD

I started in March of last year, but I was too focused in on Shahrukh Khan to know who anyone was. Oops.
I remember my friend was like, OMG ARJUN RAMPAL IS IN KANK? OH HE'S THE HOTTEST GUY IN THE UNIVERSE. I'm like, okay. D:
I was all for Shahrukh and Rani getting together, which is probably why I liked Mitwa, LOL.
John Abraham is a delight to see in KANK. XDD!

If I know that I am going to watch a really good movie, I usually have my dad watch it, and if my sister is interested enough, she joins us. We've watched Koi... Mil Gaya, Black, and Sholay together. Those are the only ones that come to mind right now. Arjun is very pretty, but I think Hrithik would win against him anyday. >.> The only words of Hindi that I know is like... "nahi," "pyaar," and "ishq." We're working on it, LOL. I know phrases like "dil se" and "kabhi alvida naa kehna" because of movies, LMAO. Oh, yes. I'm just that good. (I usually go around saying "main hoon na," too. I'm so weird.) I'll check out the song soon. biggrin

I'm going to be watching Kabul Express tomorrow (or Sunday, whenever I have time), and my friend really, really enjoyed it. The box office doesn't say anything about a good or bad film, so I'm sure it'll be worth watching it. biggrin
And, even if the movie does miserably, John Abraham is in it! It'll all be worth watching for him. razz
Yeah, I thank my lucky stars every time I go over there. Not many people can say that. *so spoiled*
