She giggled as she continued to splash about in the stream. When she saw a silouhette of a small fish, she chased after it, being careful not to accidentally step on it. She stopped after a moment, then suddenly dropped to her knees and began to roll around in the water, getting her spotted coat soaked.
After a few tumbles in the water, the small mare got up and shook her fur off. A bunch of small beads of water, flew and cascaded from her fur, which was now clumped because of her actions. She was panting slightly as she looked around, for a moment before noticing Rain Curl walking to the stream. Cheerily, she exclaimed, "Come join me!"

Join? It did look mighty fun. She looked down at the water, it was clear and moving gently. It looked nice, she tilted her head before walking a bit down the stream. She moved backwards slowly before taking off in a run. And there she went, jumping into the stream in a gallop.
Splash, water hit her from all over. It was cold at first but she could barely felt it. It was hot out in the sun and being in the water was cool and refreshing, her hooves hit the bottom, moving smalls rocks aside and dirt. She kicked her legs up, swimming for a bit before her legs hit the bottom again.
"It's nice, refreshing and........fun." She smiled. It was fun, she could not remember ever having so much fun.

Hooves carefully shifted as the small mare watched the other come closer to the stream. Her tail flicked, giggling as she watched Rain Curl back off before launching herself into the water.
She pranced in place at the shallower end of the stream she was in as she watched the white mare swim around before coming back up. With that, she trotted over and around to the mare. "It's always good to have fun every now and then... even if you have no one to have fun with."

She looked over at Charlamagne. "Can you even have fun by yourself?" She blinked, it didn't make much sense to her to have fun by herself if she couldn't share the enjoyment with others.
She moved through the water, sinking down at times when one part was deeper than another part. "Isn't it better to have fun with others?" Rain Curl did think so.

The small mare stopped, slipping a bit from the smooth rocks under her hooves. After she catched herself, she looked back to Rain Curl and blinked a bit. "Yeah, you can. I mean... it's not nearly as good as when you have someone else around, but it's still entertaining." She replied with a soft nicker, moving over to swim about in the deeper part of the stream.

She tilted her head in thought. It did make sense, sort of, though she could not remember having fun on her own. She was always with her two legger and when she was alone she either went for food or water or just to lie down and rest.
She nodded though and swam through the water again. Rain Curl looked into the water, it was hard to see through it entirely but she catch glimpses of what lay underneath the water's surface. A fish swam by and she jumped in a start. She looked over at Charlamagne, not really knowing what to say.

Seeing the other mare tilt her head, she did the same, as if waiting for the other to ask a question of some sort. When none were asked, she just shrugged and jumped about. Occasionally, she slipped on the rocks below, but she managed to keep her balance... and not injure anything.
It was when she noticed Rain Curl jump, when she came to a halt and looked to her worriedly. "Are you okay?" She asked, slowly making her way over to where the other was.

"I'm fine." She said slowly, looking into the water some more to see what else she could see in there. "A fish just startled me." She added.
She swam through the water towards the surface. She climbed out, her hooves pushing herself upwards. She shook the water from her coat.
"Swimming could be enjoyable even if by yourself...." She said, mostly to herself. "But what else?" Rain Curl turned her head to look over at Charlamagne.

She nodded in return to hearing that Rain Curl was alright. "That's good to hear, but how did a fish scare you?" She asked with a giggle, "They're just small little legless things." She added.
The small mare splashed about in the water for a bit longer before trotting out. Once out of the stream, she shook the water from each of her legs, followed by shaking the water from her fur, beads flying off in different directions.
When most of the water was off her fur, she stood in the sun and let the rays start drying the rest off. When the other mare posed the question to her, Charlamagne blinked and looked to her. "What else what?"

"It was....big." She finished lamely. Charlamagne was right, how could a small fish scare such a big animal like her? She looked away, feeling embarrassed.
Whe she heard Charlamagne get out of the water she looked at her. "What else can I do for fun by myself?"

She just giggled softly at Rain Curl's response, shaking her hooves to get the water that still clung to them off. "Well... I could understand if it was big. Did it look like it could eat you?" She asked, bounding over to stand beside the other mare. Her tail flicked lightly, being careful not to flick any more water onto the other, pretty certain that she wouldn't like getting wet again as she tried to dry off.
She repeated the question to herself as she thought about it. What did she do when she was bored and wanted have fun. "Hmm... well, there's always taking a run and kicking about. But it depends on the horse... I think."

Did it look big enough to eat her? Yes it did, but that sounded silly cause she was so big and she doubted there was a fish big enough to eat her. "No.....not big enough to eat me....but big enough to startle me." A small white lie couldn't hurt, right?
"Actually I did think it could of ate me." Lying made her feel really guilty inside, almost sickened her. "Pardon my small fib." She looked down, feeling awful about lying. Even if it was just about a small thing.
"Yes I suppose it does depend on the horse. I do like running, but not as much as I like laying down and just appreciating the land around me." She paused. "I also like eating berries and grass." She added. Did enjoying having something to eat wrong? It didn't seem fun or anything but the food was really good.

Charlamagne couldn't help but look back to the stream in awe. She's never heard about a fish that was big enough to eat a horse before.
She looked back to the mare when she spoke again. When she was asked to forgive her small lie, she tilted her head slightly. "It's okay... really. I mean, if you found a reason to be scared, then there's nothing wrong with it." She told her comfortingly.
She then trotted ahead a bit, still in a playful mood. She listened to Rain Curl as she explained what she enjoyed doing, nickering happily. "That sounds fun too. Oh, speaking of berries, wasn't I supposed to take you to where some were?"

"I guess." She murmured, though she still felt bad about it. Her front right hoove dug a bit into the ground, her face showing signs of discomfort. Her and her foolish lie, not very good to start lying to other mares or even stallions unless neccessary and it definately wasn't neccessary for what she lied about.
She shook her head, her mane shook along with her. She had to stop thinking those thoughts, forget about it....Charlamagne didn't seem upset by it. She blinked at the other mare's question. "Yes. Yes you were going to." The mare nodded slowly in response. "For my two-legger." How could she forget? That was the main reason she was in these parts today.

She had noticed that the other mare seemed uncomfortable about something, but she didn't associate it with what she had previously said about the fish. While still walking to the forest, she tilted her head at Rain Curl, "You okay?" She asked.
"Oh, since they're for your human, we really should get going." She stated, almost forgetting about the previous question she just asked. With that, she trotted ahead some before stopping and waiting for the other mare to catch up.
