His ears twitched a bit as they trotted along. He was a bit relieved that Aion was making small talk now.. and on his favorite subject! It was a bit too quiet for his tastes.. and the guy was so cold. Needed to lighten up.
"Use someone else..? Like, hurt someone's lover or child?" His head tilted a bit as he went on, considering that plan. "Oh my..." To be honest, Kearn really wasn't that old. His childhood had been spent just playing pranks and scaring his fellow pups.. Only recently had his methods gotten more... violent. He hadn't even really thought of that. "That's a really good idea! Even the strongest will scream if someone they love is in trouble.. Yeees..." He shivered a bit. He knew a few people that had passed his tests in the past.. who hadn't screamed. He'd defenitly have to try that method on them.. Kearn could learn alot from this dangerous malu!
"So... How do you prefer.. to.. ya know, kill?"

"Oh yes. If they have no Physical weaknesses...they most assuredly have a mental one...your specialty is it not?" Aion grinned, tilting his head to glance at the male, breathing in the scent of fear. They were indeed getting closer. "Even the strongest of malu males will cry out like the very children you have gasping for breath under your paw. There is a chance they could get voilent, yet its easy to crack that will when you take out the one their instincts with to protect. Others will bend to your will right away."
When questioned about how he took lives, it caused the male to stop and ponder for a moment before continuing. "Many ways. It depends on personality...and how much of a hassle they make themselves. Too many different ways to count, really." He blinked, one ear flattening slightly before turning back to Kearn. "You relatively new to this?"

He snickered lowly, the conversation making him absolutely giddy. He could also smell the victim's fear, and it made his knees shake with excitement. "I see... I seee..."
When the older male had paused to ponder, he had stopped beside him, looking at him carefully. "I suppose that would make sense... Each one is different, right??" Again he bound after him, trotting along his new tutor. "Honestly... A bit.. I mean, I've always scared people.. But only in the past couple months have I realized how much more people scream when they're actually in pain.."

"Fear and Pain are two entirely different core reactions in one's physical makeup, Kearn." Aion breathed, his lids lowering as frightening euphoria seemed to take place in his twisted maze of a mind. Even Aion couldn't at times understand just how he functioned as certian sides seemed to rise with different people...yet sometimes, it would jumble into a mess of thoughts and driving emotions.
"Fear...can take over your senses, create sensations of questioning in your own mind...it can keep increasing its levels to make its symptoms more sick and vicious. In fear...you can see things which you would never otherwise. On the flip side...pain is a straight on emotion, it will hit you full force. The beauty is, pain can evoke instinct which is what you can manipulate and destory. Pain can shatter your logic so fear becomes obselete....it will only turn into a numb torture which if played right, will be worse than any scare could possibly accomplish." A sinister chuckle rose from the dark Prince's maw, his orange orb locking on the path ahead.
Pausing around the corner, they were faces with a fork....one Aion knew well. This was another sick guise of the sublevels which cast one into misery. "This is a false path. The path to your left will lead you right back to the one on the right. If we wait here...she'll walk right to us." Aion smirked, licking his lips as he dropped to his haunches.

Kearne trotted slowly beside the demonicly wise malu, his eyes seeming to become brighter and brighter as he grew more excited. He had to keep them half lidded to keep the small bit of light from exposing them. Aion... He was... incredible. To have such knowledge, such bravery and to be so merciless... Oh, he only hoped he would be like that some day.. One day.
"I...will remember that..."
When they came up to the fork he crouched down beside Aion, tail flicking back and forth uncontrolably, the knees of his back legs shaking with the anxious tension pint up there.. He couldnt wait to pounce, to scare... Oooh this would be marvelous.
"Yes sir..." And he waited, smirking evily.
