J-trance, trancecore, and freeform, mostly, with a bit of darkstep and hard dance. My favorite artists are KOTOKO, DJ Ethos, Lab-4 and Ayumi Hamasaki (mostly the harder trance remixes of her stuff).

I'm extremely critical and picky over music. It drives me nutty sometimes.

Gernally I listen to metal now. And if it means anything to anyone I adore power metal. Rhapsody is my musical obsession. But I also have an extreme fondness to Helloween, Iced Earth, Fjoergyn, Theatre of Tragedy, Kamelot, Demons and Wizards and Draem Theater. I also really need to go out and buy a Blind Guardian CD.

I can't stand most things mainstream. There's just this sound to it that makes me want to kill things. x.x;; I hate the radio. Especially since that monstrosity Stacey's Mom came out. >o< If one more person sings that to me I'll hurt them. A lot.

60s and 70s groups are wonderful. I hate all 80s music with the exception of Alice Cooper.

Independant rock groups are love. But so annoying to get CDs of gonk How I am tormented by Scratching Post. Four Star Mary drove me bonkers for the longest time as well.

And finally I just like different music. Bjork and Cibo Matto are two of my favourite groups of all time. Cookies to anyone that knows Cibo Matto. It's so hard to find fans of them. ;-;

I love rock, 'punk', metal, hella old hip hop, Jrock, Jpop, J..rap O.o;; and techno, stuff like that. TOUCH me with anything like freakin Jay-Z or any of that crap, however, and your hand will be missing. As will be the rest of your arm.

Right now, for american music, I'm really into 36 crazyfists and Alkaline Trio, Rise Against, Placebo, and stuff like that. Korn used to be my favorite, now it just hurts to talk about them. So no more on that subject from me. But! Oingo Boingo is love x3

As for foreign music, I'm freakin spazzing over Dir en Grey and anime voice actors singing. They own my life x3 Such as Takeuchi Junko singing Gyu-ru-ru, and Kurosaki Ichigo's actor singing his own songs x3 Tis awesome!

I'll listen to basically anything except rap. I really like celtic music and the Bacon Brothers, as well as Evanecense, Loreena McKennit, Sarah Mcloghlan....stuff like that.

Right now Im in a really metal mood, but I listen to most music out there. Except stuff on the hitlists, they usually suck, so I try my best to stay away from them.

Love X-Japan, Onmyouza and many more...

Um...shoot, I'm probably terribly off, but didn't Cibo Matto sing 'Moonchild?' I recognize the name, but I can't remember where I've heard it...

As for music, I'm a big fan of soundtracks(of all kinds, but my favorite movie composer is Thomas Newman). Yoko Kanno is the undisputed goddess of soundtracks, and as for 'normal' music...I'm very fond of Delerium and Sarah McLachlan. I liked Evanescence before I discovered their entire cd was one huge suicide note. =/

The Beatles, of course, are wonderful, and though I've never really heard a lot of his music, I like Johnny Cash's remake of 'Hurt.' Also fond of Dido; never heard Bjork. Daniel Beddingfield is fairly 'poppy' sometimes, but he has a beautiful voice...same with Christina Aguilera. boa, not BoA, I enjoy muchly, K's Choice, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, and a bunch of other things. Also fond of classical music.

Stuff I hate? Whiny 'punk rock,' including, but not limited to Avril Lavinge, Linkin Park, that horrible young man who sings the remake of 'It's a Wonderful World,' and many others. Also, most rap, though I like the Gorillaz and Outkast, as well as Ludacris and Tupac.

And that's about it.

Yes! They did. ^^

I've never met anyone before that has known who K's Choice is. You put me in double awe. =D

I also own most of Sarah McLachlan's albums. So many pretty songs.

Modern "punk" makes me sad. =/ A friend of mine tried to tell me once that I'd like Greenday because they're not mainstream. It scared me. ._.

I used to be so obsessed with the soundtrack from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical Once More With Feeling.

WHOA. What? Are you serious?

Do you have a link to an article or something?

Edit: Nevermind; just saw it on Yahoo. My gosh, that is sad. I'm going to miss him.

Eww...Greenday. I've got Sarah McLachlan's 'Surfacing,' and a couple of other tracks scattered here and there.

Yeah, I love K's Choice. Shadowman is a terribly sad song. =( Ummm...hey, if you like Sarah McLachlan, you'd probably like Delerium too. I recommend them. They did a song with Sarah McLachlan, by the name of 'Silence.' It was on the soundtrack on a movie which everyone apparently hated, but it was a good song, nevertheless. My favorite Delerium songs would have to be 'Innocente,' and 'Nature's Kingdom.'
