Deja was walking around a little confused as to where he was going. He thought he had turned and gone back the way he had came but none of this looked familiar. The colt stopped and looked around again. He was lost.

Draumr' looked up at Lady and frowned again. "I thought Deja was with you, he didn't come back." He was suddenly very scared. Their only son was gone, lost! He didn't know the ranch, he didn't know where he would be going! What if he ran into one of those crazed cougars. He nudged Leda and Sari. "Come girls, we must find your brother."

Sari stood on wobbly legs and nudged her sister. "Come sissy! We have to go find him!"

Deja continued walking, not sure if he was getting closer to his parents or farther away from them. He stopped every once in a while to look around for anything familiar and then let out a small whinny to see if anyone could hear him. The small colt finally settled in the shadow of a large looming tree and lay there waiting and thinking of what to do next.

Lady fidgeted. "He went back the way he had come, i'm sure...he must have streed off at some point...oh Draumr'...." She turned and nuzzled the two little filly's. "We are gonna stay here sweetheart..." she said to them lightly. "and wait for him to come back while daddy goes and finds Deja..." she said, looking back at Draumr'. She was terrified that Deja might have gotten hurt or somthing had gotten him...She had to lay down...Laying down and nudged the two foals closer to her.

Leda blinked but didn't argue. She tripped over and landed beside her mother, snuggling close. "Momma, Brother is gonna be ok right? He'll come back soon..."

Draumr' nodded and trotted where Lady had come from, thinking Deja might have strayed off of the path and ended up somewhere else. He sighed and looked up at the sky. Only a day or so into parent hood and one of them were already missing. "Deja!" He called.

Draumr' turned his head as he heard a rustle in the bushes. "Who's there?" He called out, bracing himself for an atack just incase. A small canine emerged, looking much like Cap, Lita's dog but with different colorings.

Domick cocked his head and sniffed Draumr'. "What are you?" He asked, wagging his tail. "You smell funny! I haven't smelled you before! Who are you? What are you? Are you a dog? I'm a dog!" He said in one breath, pawing at one of Druamr's hooves.

"I," Draumr' said, looking down at the wild dog with intrest. "am a horse. I am looking for my son. You haven't seen him have you? He's a foal, about ye high." He said as he lifted his hoof to Deja's hieght.

Domick sat down, wagging so much that his whole body shook. "No, but I smelled something like you a few minutes ago. I can take you to the place? I wanna help! I wanna help!" The pup prang up and started running as fast as his short legs would carrying him. "This way!" he barked, leading the equine to where he had first caught the scent of the young foal.

Domick stopped in the middle of a clearing, sniffing the air and pointing his paw to the east. "He's thataway....I think."

Draumr' patted the pup's shoulder in thanks. "Thank you very much." He looked in the directio nthat Domick had pointed. "If you want.." He said, looking at the pup. "You can come with me."

Domick's ears perked up and his tail went flying again. "Really? I can?" Domick scrambled onto a rock and jumped on Draumr's back. "Thank you!" He sat down. "Oh, thank you thank you!"

Draumr' smiled and began at a slow trot, trying not to jostle Domick.

Lady, who had pretty much been asleep, blinked and her head snapped up. She looked and blinked again. "D-Deja?" she asked in a hushed voice. "Deja!" she stood quickly and nuzzled the colt. "Oh Deja, thank goodness your alright, i was so worried, your father went to look for you and...oh my goodness Deja you scared us all half to death..." she said as a few tears fell in relif. "Thank goodness."

Leda blinked and stood on wobbly legs, hobbling over to her brother. "Brother!" she squeeled excitedly. She tried to jump for joy but fell down istead of landing. However she simply lay there and grinned up at her brother. "your back!"
