Aphrodite interupts Orion: ''It's fine, I have nothing to do. I'd love to go to the shops, I'm looking for a potion. There's a child found, still an egg, and Fleur and I are taking care of him. But he doesn't seem to grow well, so I'm trying to find something that helps. Do you care to join?
School should end in a few hours, but we'll find her around anyway, so there's no hurry. Not on my side, that is'' she says and smiles. He's such a sweetheart. But still, she's unsure if he's just being friendly or if he would want to be more than friends. How could she find out?

Aphrodite, somehow feeling that Orion is suddenly uncomfortable, tries to explain things a 'lil bit more: ''Yes, and we will take care of him until he decides to leave us. Also, you sound quite excited. Do you like shopping?! You would be the first guy on earth.'' she grins. ''But you are taking the wrong person out then, I must warn you. I only shop for things I need, if you rather shop for fun and walk into every store, you should go shopping with Fleur, my roommate. I hate shopping with her, it's hell. She tries on every single pair of jewelry she can find and never buys a thing. After last time I refused to ever go shopping with her again'' she ends her story with a smile. She hopes she didn't confuse him or did anything wrong at all. Why, oh why, is she so insecure around him?! It annoys her, but she can't seem to help herself.

Aphrodite can't help herself but she just has to laugh.
''Those things look strange! I do have a bracelet, but that's just something for personal strength. I do believe in that kind of stuff, it gave me lots of luck since I came here. It made me meet Fleur and get a roommate, and it introduced me to you.'' As soon as she says that, she regrets it. Why did she say that? This is too obvious! ''Oh, god, I need to learn to THINK before I say something'' she says to herself at a volume Orion can't hear her. What did she got herself into? And more important, how did she get out of it? She didn't want this emotional stuff and she wouldn't have a change with him. She's not attractive, not funny, she's fat, she's just stupid. Why can't she just give up?

Aphrodite grins again. Orion is not only handsome, he can easily make her laugh as well. ''I know what you mean'' she says, still laughing a little.
''Fleur always drags me around, telling me to walk up to every guy I see and immediatly date them too. She's crazy ^.^ I'm looking for someone special, not some fling. I've refused time to time again and she always get pissed off. She actually ended up dating a few of those guys herself, but I don't mind, I didn't like them at all.
And what about you? How has your love life been so far?'' she asks. Nervously she waits for a reply, hoping it's positive.

''Would that means he's picky?'' Aphrodite questions herself. ''Would he just think I'm ''nice but not what he's looking for'' ?'' She takes a deep breath. ''I know what you mean. My love life has been quiet too, but recently I've fallen in love. He's a great guy, handsome, makes me laugh. I just don't know if he likes me too. In that special way, I mean.''
She remains silent, hoping he'll pick up the hint.

Aphrodite feels it's not turning out like planned.
He didn't catch the hint and he thinks she likes someone else! And even worse, he doesn't seem to care at all
''No, I don't dare to tell him. I don't know how to either. And I think I'm just afraid of rejection, I don't believe he sees me that way. He doesn't seem to care about me like that. Do you know any ways to find out? How do guys show a girl they like her?'' she asks, while they keep on walking.
''Well, nevermind.'' she continues, when they reach the shop. ''Here's the shop, let's go get the potion.'' and she enters the store.

Would that've been a hint from his side? Aphrodite hopes so, but of course she could be imagining things. She just wants him to like her, but she doesn't know what to do. So instead, she focusses all her attending on the potions, avoiding any conversation. She looks through all the different potions.
''Hmm, they don't seem to have something in stock that would work. I guess I'll go back later.'' She turns to Orion again. "But for now, we have a lot of time left. Would you like to go to my home and meet my roommate Fleur?''

''Well, why don't we go and meet her then. Please, follow me,'' she says and she slowly swims away, looking back every once in a while to see if Orion is following her. "It's not that far away, just a few blocks.
I hope you like our place, also. I'm very proud of it myself, it took us quite awhile to get into that house'' While Aphrodite tells about that, they continue swimming and are almost there already.
