"Well, I....I do have other things to see to, but if it comforts you, or if I can be of any help at all?" Avellano said in her usual tone, soft, quiet and caring. "I don't think much has changed, but I haven't been around too long myself..." She hesitated slightly, and then paused, looking down at her toes for a moment.
"The current rulers are Kamilika and Ta'Ziyan." The white lioness started, flicking her tail a little and smiling at Meme. "Kamilika is a daughter of Sarabi and Mufasa, and Ta'Ziyan is her mate." She added, with another little smile. "They're both very kind, I'm sure you'll get along with them just fine. I could try and arrange an audience with them, for you, if you'd like?" Ave offered kindly, it was the lest she could do, anyways.

"No, I won't keep you if you have other things you should be doing," she said decisively, shaking her head. Meme would not let herself get in the way of someone else's day, no matter how willing she was to keep her company. As Ave explained the state of the monarchy, Meme listened very carefully. She repeated the names over in her head, her expression changing ever so slightly at the mention of Kamilika being the daughter of Sarabi and Mufasa.
"I don't know when I would go there," Meme answered quietly at the mention of arranging an audience. She didn't know when she would go, but if she did she hoped to know if she was interupting something or not.. Perhaps it would be best to arrange something..

Avellano chuckled slightly, "They're not THAT important, darling. Would you like me to come with you or not?" she said, offering again as she began to grow just the slightest bit impatient. Ave was a very patient lioness, but this back and forth with the going and not going was weearing on her nerves only the tiniest bit. A hardly noticeable fraction.
"And if you'd like an audience, I shall see about arranging something for you later this afternoon, if you'd like? Or maybe tomorrow?" The white lioness said in a more business-like tone. "Or if you'd rather not? I'm sure they'd love to meet you though, Miss Meme." She smiled widely, then swished her red-tipped tail again and padded forward a little, giving the golden-furred lioness a small nod. "Shall we go? I'll leave you whenever you ask, but it seems to me as though you'd prefer at least a small amount of company."
If there was one thing Avellano had gotten good at by now, it was reading others, and she decided to just go with the golden lioness anyways, and let Meme dismiss her if she pleased.

Meme could tell by what Ave said that she was getting impatient with her. She did not want that to happen, even if the white lioness seemed no different on the outside. She was going to reply when Ave continued on about making an audience, adopting a more formal tone. This was all making Meme feel rather uncomfortable, and was making her less and less willing to go. With such low confidence in the idea to begin with, it quickly looked as if it would get the best of her. She backed up a bit, shaking her head.
"No, no," she answered, trying to sound as insistent as Ave was, "You'll not concern yourself with me, I'm not sure I'll go."

"Well, I'm sorry...I didn't mean to be pushy, please forgive me. "If you don't want an audience, it's fine." She chuckled again, flicking her tail then glancing around. "I'm so terribly sorry, but I just remembered, I was supposed to have a meeting with a couple and their new cub. I'm SOOOOOO sorry, Miss Meme, but now that I think of it, I'd best get going!" Avellano said, actually rather anguished that she'd forgotten about it in the first place.
"Again, please forgive me, Miss, but...like I said, I'd really be best off to leave." She repeatetd, smiling apologetically, her ears lain back the whole time. "I feel so stupid for forgetting." She mumbled hurriedly as she spun around and made to rush off, then threw a glance over her shoulder, "Hope to see you again, Miss, stick around, okay?" She said kindly, smiling again and then rushing off to go and find her meeting.

Meme kept shaking her head when Ave tried to apologize, feeling she was the one who should be sorry for even causing such confusion. She was a bit surprised when the white lioness remembered something she was supposed to do that was important, just as Meme had expected. Most anything would be more important than helping her anyway, she felt.
"Don't be sorry, you have a job to do," she answered, refusing the apology and not really responding to the hope to see her around again. Memetuka had never gone far from the Pridelands, and it seemed she would soon go back into it. She wasn't sure how sincere Ave was about wanting to see her again, but if it happened she would welcome it. She watched the lioness go off, and resumed staring off towards Priderock. Now, though, she had a lot more on her mind than just herself.
