The small wild dog wriggled in relief. First she had gotten out of the hot grasses and sands of the savannah. The savannah always hurt her paws. And now heat. She was out of complete heats. To her anyways.
In fact... It was a bit cold.

Kianga smiled warmly at the little one, oh how she loved pups! She wished very much to be a mother some day, as she had all the motherly instincts and so much love to go around. She kept her head at shoulder length as she made her way carefully to the back, the den was a bit low so she had to duck ever so slighty.
She collapsed upon the cool floor, immediatly relaxing in the refreshing change to all the heat, she unlike Leini loved the cold feel of the ground underneath her body. She rested her head upon her paws and watched the little one.
"Okay, tomorrow then"

Leini walked over to where Kianga had lain. She didn't have to duck because she was still small. She curled up a short distance away from Kianga and yawned.
She shivered a little. It was cold on her belly and she wasn't used to the cold of the air. She tried not to move closer than that to kianga though. She didn't want to be rude.
She had already intruded on the stanger's home...
