Kivu's eyes bulged as he felt pain run up his neck, and follow down along his spine. Oh, gawd. The hyena was biting down, and biting down hard. Any harder and... and...
He let out a roar in agony as X's fangs sunk deep into his neck. As he roared, his grip on Chachili loosened - and the girl was free! Screeching, Chachili bolted away as fast as her hooves could take her. There was no way she could stay, and her mind wasn't on the hyena who had saved her life... twice. Thoughts of X had escaped her mind, and in it's place was only panic and fright. Bloody and disorientated, she struggled to run on, but found herself limping to the High Grass.
Kivu, on the other hand, staggered away from X, panting hard.
"You b*****d!" he snapped, his eyes blazing and neck searing with pain, "You darn idiot! What were you doing? Socialising with stupid food?!"
He felt loss come down hard on him - the loss of his prey, and his own battle. It seemed that the hyena had won the day... was he from the graveyard?
It seemed not. Now that Kivu was more focused, he could sniff other hyenas on X's fur. This hyena belonged to a pack, but not one that he could lay a paw on. He growled, bristling and whooping angrily.
"Disgusting!" he spat, ablaze with anger and frustration.

X snarled and smirked at Chachili sped away. He'd have to see if she was alright later.
He was panting a bit.
"Honestly. She isn't as stupid as you think she is," He snarled. "And she is one of the few I protect."
X only protected a few, as he said. Chachili. Chachili's family, and Ban. He would always protect them.
He honestly didn't care if this adult was one of his own kind or not. If fact, he didn't care if the spotted male was adult or not.
A glare was plastered to X's features. He had never been angry enough to attack another, but boy, this hyena made him angry.
"If you touch her again. I won't hesitate to kill you... Regardeless of what pack you are in..."
X huffed and turned away, trying to calm himself down. He wouldn't go visit Chachili. Not yet. There was a risk that the Hyena would follow him to her.
"Discusting? Hah..." he smirked lightly, shaking his head in false amusment.

Kivu's nose wrinkled into a snarl, and he stood, ears pressed back against his head, body shaking with the combination of shock and fear, all at once. He willed himself to stop... but found he could not.
"Prey is prey, boy!" he yelled out, as X trotted away, "Don't tell me you've never killed anything before, because it's what we live on! Flesh. Blood. That's reality, brother. Reality isn't all roses and flowers. It's harsh."
He huffed as X pulled off. Kivu wasn't foolish enough to follow. He knew when he was beaten.
"Kill me?" he laughed, his hyena voice cackling and echoing against the rocks and bones of the place, "You got lucky this time. Don't take me for a fool."
Then, streaking back into the Graveyard, he was gone.

X snarled again. His angry flaring once against.
This hyena. He hated him.
X shook his head, though his anger was still at an extremly high level, he walked away after the other hyena left.
He huffed and laid down a distance away from the graveyard. He closed his eyes and attempted to drift off to sleep to deminish his anger.
