A small smile tweaked momentarily at the corners of Kimya's maw, but she otherwise remained quiet for now, letting her eyes drift back down to her daughter, who was steadily becoming more accustomed to Kinja's presence. It made her mother glad, and very proud. She certainly was more receptive to strangers than Kimya had been at this age, even with her mother's reassurances. She'd been terribly shy after that first run in with Mbaya.

She considered the question posed to her for a long moment, eyes fixed off to some point at the side. She hadn't really thought about it before, whether she liked travelling with her mother, it was just how life was. She did like seeing new things each day though. "I like see'ng things n' I like being with Mum." she murbled, eventually, her babyish tongue stumbling over the words.
The concept of 'when I was your age' bypassed her. Surely this large, older female had never, ever been a cub like her. Just like her mum couldn't possibly have been a cub ever at all. The world didn't work like that from her point of view. The world was simply as it was and always had been and always would be. Except that it wouldn't... here she was being faced with the beginnings of the first large change in her life and realisation that things could change was slowly seeping into her mind. She ignored it... for now.

Kinja smiled at her grandaughter. "I am glad you like seeing it. The world is a big place and there is so much you can see. I am sure your mother is glad to have you with her as well." Kinja's blue eyes sparkled as she spoke with the cub, a little fire within her having been sparked with the company of such a young one.
Turning to Kimya, Kinja rose to her paws and walked to her daughter, licking the younger lionesses nose. "I am glad you brought her here. It's wonderful to see you are happy."

Happy.... yes...
"I wouldn't change it for the world. Nothing makes me happier." She purred heavily, shutting her eyes for a moment as she tugged Imara close with one fore paw, nuzzling the small bundle.
Despite the conditions of Imara's conception, and despite past trials and loneliness, the two of them had found a simple happiness in being together. Life was good, trials or not. Who knew? Maybe she'd see her brothers again soon, too, and then the family would be complete once more.
"Me too, mother..." She smiled softly.
