Spidey dropped down closer to street level, and landed on the corner of a rooftop.
He looked up and down the street, seeing not may people around he fell deftly onto the sidewalk and entered the convenience store behind him.
Strolling round the shop's aisles, attracting wierd looks from all corners, he picked out a Snickers and a bag of Doritos and walked up to the cashier.
"Just these please," he said as he fished for cash inside his costume's concealed pockets, "I'm Spider-man, you know. The doctors say I'm not but I am." he said louldy, whilst tapping his nose.
"Thank you, nice lady!" he shouted back as he left the shop, waving enthusiastically.
When he got around the corner he shot up into the air on a web line and swung off to find a quiet spot.

((Yay! It has begun!! I can only make one post right now, 'cause I'm leaving soon, but I figured I should start! xD))
One o'clock a.m. Most teenagers would be at home right now with their families, sleeping in a comfortable bed with no troubles on their shoulders at all. But not Traci. Traci was most-likely the only teenage white girl in her right mind out at this hour, but it wasn't like she wanted to be.
Traci walked down the sidewalk with her hands in the pockets of her black sweater, watching the ground as she made her way to...nowhere in particular. Her red hair was in her face, concealing the morbid expression she had at the moment...it wasn't a good day for her. She wasn't feeling very well, and she had gotten into a fight earlier that day and wasn't too happy about it...so there she was...grumpy and pissed off.
Someone bumped into her shoulder walking by, almost knocking her off her feet. They didn't even stop and apologize, they just kept going.
"Yeah, EXCUSE YOU!" she shouted after them as she rubbed her shoulder and continued on.

Zero landed across the street from his apartment, and stepped into the shadows made by a nearby wall.
He let himself be drawn into the shadowy dimension beyond, he searched the shadow doors nearby, looking for the familiar surroundings of his room.
He walked forward, and looked to his left.
"Gotcha." he said, although it sounded distant, like it was made by someone a mile away, as he found the shadow at the foot of his bed. He crawled forward and onto his bedroom floor, throwing off his hood and pulling his mask off, shoving them into the bag under his bed, the rest of his costume soon followed.
As he reached across to switch on his alarm, he was sure he saw Spider-man swing close past his window. "Look's like I wasn't the only one out late." he muttered as he rolled over.
A Dorito chip gently falling into his room, from the open window.

((Actually, I can make another!! But this is probably the last until later...))
Traci shook her head in annoyance as she continued to walk, not knowing where she was trying to go. The last place she stayed was an old woman's house who had let her in for the night since Traci explained that she had nowhere to go. THAT was a chance encounter... she thought to herself.
Traci sighed, feeling drowzy now that she had been walking for a while. She had to find some place to sleep soon...
She stopped and looked around the area, wondering if there was an abandoned building or a playground anywhere nearby. She spotted the latter first and headed in that direction. There was a park a few blocks down. Traci came up to it and found the playground empty and no one around. She sighed. This'll have to do for the night... she thought to herself as she walked up to one of the red tubes and crawled inside, laying down in the center.
It was kind-of chilly that night, so she bundled up in her sweater and passed out in the tube.

As he walked up the steps of his aparetment, Peter wondered if those Doritos would come back to haunt him. He'd swung too hard, making him feel very barfy, and everyone knows cheese before bedtime is never good.
He let himself in, and strolled towards his bedroom door. As he opened it, he let in a little light, making MJ mumble in her sleep and turn over. He stripped off his civvies and his costume, before crawling in beside her.
She was nice and warm, and the pillows felt really soft.
Next thing he knew, he was being chased by the love child of Rhino and Doc Ock, whilst Aunt May performed an outstanding tap dance performance in the background. He woke up, "Stupid Doritos..." he mumbled as he rubbed his eyes and drifted back off to sleep.

Storm, also known as Ororo Munroe- though not quite anymore- had been wandering the streets when she heard the commotion. It was far from her range, but she could tell there had been trouble. But there had been others there to save the day. Had it not been for being a little disoriented from the fight she had just gotten herself into, she would have been there in seconds. She crossed her arms over her chest, feeling the slight breeze that passed her. It hadn't been much of a bother, though. Her body would adjust to the temperature, no doubt.
Lifting her head to listen out for more trouble, she found a small building that could shelter her for now. The others wouldn't have a worry. They'd know one night she'd be all right. Besides, they'd been off on their own, and they knew her capable enough of taking care of herself. Sighing and tossing the white strand of hair from her face, she entered the empty building and found herself a broken bed by the corner. It'd be convenient enough... for now.

As Zero walked to his only lecture that day at 8am, he picked up a paper and a coffee. He sat in the park for a while, reading his paper.
No big news today, a few bits of fluff, like "Kitten Saves The Day". A stabbing at a homeless shelter across town, and a shooting not far from the park. Spider-man was spotted at the scene, along two other males, one who had a gun that had been cut in two, and another with twin swords, apparently. They only caught the guy with the guns, it said.
And the victim, he was a John Doe, in a coma, unresponsive, at Mount Sinai.
Zero sipped his coffee and started walking to class again.

-Tony Stark stood behind his large desk in the classroom, it had been years since his last actual lecture and he was pretty nervous about it. He'd heard about the free metahumans as well as the sudden outburst of crime. The only problem was he didn't expect it to effect himself. Stark Tower had been overrun by evil metahumans. The Avengers Worldwide had been disbanded and it was unknown how many heros were still alive after Galactus attacked. As a precaution Tony had placed his suit of armor close by should trouble arrise.-
Let's see who's going to be here today.
-he pulls a list from his case-

Storm didn't waist time in sitting in the broken down apartment all by herself. Though it hadn't been a problem to break in with a lock pick. She had to figure out what was making her feel as suspicious as she had been. Letting her hair fall into her face as she left the small pit-hole, ignoring the couple of stares she got, she left the building to its rot, figuring a hot cup of coffee would tame her taste buds for the time being. Though it'd be much better if someone were by her side, such as Wolverine.
Her appearance was a thing for people to peek out on as she took the alleyways for short-cuts. Passing a couple homeless men, leading onto an even larger alley, she paused at the noise. This area was quiet, she knew. But there was something that just wasn't right.

So this is New York...
After a long period of hitchhiking, walking and sleeping on dirt, Luminara sighed….she had made it. It was the next step to her goal of fully mastering her powers. She wasn’t quite sure how she was gonna do it, but NY seemed the perfect place to begin!
So she started walking, she was hungry and dirty, and she didn’t have anywhere to go.
It seems, she thought this is gonna be harder than I thought…
She had been walking blindly for probably hours, waiting for something to happen…anything……….
The sun fell, and still nothing had happened.
This sucks! she thought. It was getting cold, and it hit her that she had nowhere to sleep, and she had spent the last of her money on a pack of cigarettes. While stopping to light a cig, she heard a loud noise coming from one of the alleyways, it sounded like a gunshot…Alright!she yelled, this was it…this was what she had been waiting for, her moment to shine.
She ran to the alleyway, preparing herself for what, to her, felt like the battle of her life. Arriving at the alley, she stopped dead, shocked at what she was seeing…a man lying on the ground bleeding, a man with half a gun in his hand…and 2 others…2 masked men…one was dangling from some rope, and another with a sword in each hand. They looked…cool!
She suddenly heard sirens…the police had to be coming, she took one last look at the two masked men, and ran off.
She knew now what she had to do, she had to see them again….somehow. She felt that they were going to be the ones who were going to lead her, to show her the way….she just knew it.

-after a bad scene trying to drink coffee through his mask, Deadpool headed back to where he had come across the shooting eariler. He had caught some movement at the back of the alley and wanted to investigate further, he arrived at the scene and began searching near the back of the alley. Finding footprints in the dirt and muck he tracks them through the alleyways.-
"Come out, come out wherever you are! I'm not here to hurt you, unless you plan on hurting me. Then we have a problem. I saw you back here little miss runaway. I can smell your cigarette, I know you're here."
-he hops on top of a dumpster and waits-
"Fine, you wanna play like that, I'm game. I can wait as long as you can."

“Damn it, I should quit smoking”, ”, Luminara thought.
Although she was dieing to meet him, she felt scared, what if she had seen something she wasn’t supposed to, what if HE had hurt that man…… and now he wants to make sure no one else finds out….what if he wanted to kill her?
“He WON’T kill me” , she thought. “I just know it”.
She slowly starts coming out of her hiding place, and starts advancing towards the masked man. She felt nervous, she felt scared, but she still had that feeling from before: he was going to show her the way, the way to better herself.
She stops just meters away from the dumpster he was standing on.
“Hi, I’m Luminara.”, she whispers. “Are you going to kill me? Cause, if you are" she said a little louder, “I should warn you that I’m not as helpless as I look!”

"So...who are you, why are you here, and do you have any candy?"
-he puts his hands down onto the lid of the dumpster-
"The name's Deadpool. I like waffles and long walks on the beach."

“Deadpool?” *snort* That’s an...uhm… interesting name!”
She hesitated a bit, she wasn’t quite sure if she could trust him, but on the other hand, she kinda liked him, he seemed strong, powerful and definetely confident. Plus, he was extremely cool!
She shook his hand, and said:“Name’s Luminara, I’m a mutant, and I came to NY to learn how to control my powers, I was just passing by when I heard gunshots, so I went to take a look…and that’s when I saw you. And no, unfortunately, I don’t have any candy.”
She looked him straight in the eyes (so to speak), and waited for his response.

"Deadpool was my weapon X code name, I didn't get to choose it. If I did I'd probably be Super Ninja Guy. Has a ring to it. So, Luminara huh? Now THAT's a funny name. The question does remain though, if you're really a mutant, what powers do you have, I mean I can't go around helping every mutant I find without knowing what they do."
-Deadpool hops off the dumpster and stands in front of Luminara-
"Show me what you got kid."
