The ground was never too friendly to someone just tumbling along, especially when you're on a paved side walk. Releasing the purses when they went past where they should have struck the sailed through the air as gravity took them to the ground with a clutter of leather and metal falling to the ground, hopefully nothing of worth had broken.
When he came around though he planted his right foot forward to shift his momentum from a rotation to a linear line in her direction. No spike intimidated him as he came closer to her kneeling on the ground.
Nope, he closed the gap and when just a few feet away he leapt into the air. So that he would land down on top of her. Two hundred and twenty pounds would ram into her with the help of gravity.

He chuckled at the turn of events, and then looked at Gam for a moment, and shook his head, smirking. Well, this was funny.

Ixri's focus was entirely on her 'one-on-one' bout against Miles. As the man approached, instead of meeting him with a spike, she took a swing at him with the rim of her leading shield, simultaneously pulling the other shield in close to her body.

He had pulled up his legs in his jump so that it looked like he was crouched in the air. Her swing was passing through the air as he came down and managed to slam into his right ankle.
That didn't stop him from slamming the rest of his weight with his left leg down on the upper edge of her other shield. His other leg having been pulled up beneath him in instinct after the hit.

Gamma kept the giant pistol trained on however little of the target was showing.
...Yeah. He stood there. Because shooting now and probably hitting his 'teammate' wasn't really a good idea.

Eustathios drummed the shaft of his spear, while keeping an eye out for anything or anyone that might try to take advantage of this situation.

"Eugh!" Ixri slammed into the hard ground beneath her, sandwiched by Miles' weight. The back of her head smacked against the earth, sending even more pain through her body and forcing her to lose focus. With all of her strength, she pushed up on her shield, trying to edge Miles all the way past her, instead of letting him land squarely on her upper body.

Well.
Since Miles was so intent on being in the freaking way, Gamma started off at a measured pace for the whole scuffle. The pistol stayed up in the ready to fire position as he made his way closer.
If she stayed pinned on the ground it wouldn't be hard to put one in her head.

The other foot came down and he did just that. His right foot came down and landed upon her left shoulder. In most circumstances someone might ask the other to yield; but Miles wasn't like that. He was a firm believer in giving no quarter.
His knees bent and he rode her to the ground.

A muffled yowl, and she tried to lift her legs up and kick him in the back. That just exaserbated the pain of having his weight on her, however, and she soon gave up that tact. Wriggling her arm free of her shield, she struggled to flip the spike against his back in a last ditch effort--her other arm was effectively useless, and the pain that wracked her body was more than she could bare.

She tried to kick him; but he was too far up her body for her to reach and she only worsen her wounds. Try as she might she could wiggle her arm to free the shield; but Miles kept his eye on her and shifted his right foot to pin her arm to the ground.
"That wasn't all that fun. And I don't really see much sport and adorning your skull with my axe. What will you give me if I let you live."
Bribery was always a good way to bypass Miles' idea of no quarter.

Finally having approached the pinned woman, Gamma took half a moment to watch her squirm and flail. Without a whole lot of other though, he released one hand from the pistol and reeled back his right foot.
To put a whole lot of hard rubber soled combat boot to her temple.
