Focused entirely on Legart, Jansen didn't even see Tien's shots coming.
And there were two gaping bullet holes in the center of Jansen's chest. Mortal wounds. Staring down at the blood blossoming from them, he didn't even move to dodge Legart's bullets.
He had time for one last act of vengeance, though, before he breathed his last. Summoning a mighty wind, spending all his energy for this single blow, a gust of air rose from beneath the car, sending it 20 feet into the air.
Then it would come crashing down again, even as the whirlwind around Jansen's feet died. The lifeless body slumped on the sand, and a Riposte marble rolled out of his robes.
((First die - Jansen Second die - Tien
And this is why I hate guns.
Description for the marble forthcoming.))

(( Quote: Riposte Color: Silver If you are the victim of a Group Combo, you may respond with a normal critical attack roll in the same round against the character who initiated the Group Combo. This attack roll doesn't save you if the Group Combo kills you; however, it does give you the chance to take your enemy down with you. ))

Tokai took little notice of the mans death as the car flew into the air. Having just got out he was still flipped by the resulting air pressure displacement. Landing on his back he barely had time to roll out of the way as the car came hurtling back towards the ground. Standing back up he surveyed what this the current combat situation was.

Legart had already started moving forward to close distance after he fired the first two shots, but as Jansen fell, the momentary satisfaction of a kill turned to dumbstruck surprise as he was blown off his feet. Legart whipped his head around to get his bearings back only to find that the car wasn't where he left it--in fact, it was twenty feet in the goddamn air, and plummeting. This could be very bad if it landed on one of them.
Legart did take impact into consideration when he built the trunk to store weaponry--the grenades were locked in foam-wrap containers, so they should survive something like this. That went for the assault rifle, the ammo, and the two pistols in the trunk as well. It would be a pain collecting what was there when it landed, but it was possible to salvage most, if not all of the equipment.
Hurrying to his feet, Legart ran toward the downed Jansen, keeping his gun trained on the man who was bleeding out. The car crashed down somewhere behind him, but right now it wouldn't be something he was concerned about. "********," Legart snarled, considering putting another bullet into the man but deciding against it. He bent down, scooping up the marble and dropping it into his coat pocket.
But did the man have anything else he could loot? Keeping the gun casually pointed at Jansen's torso, Legart started looking over the young man's clothes, patting him down, not minding whether he got blood on his hands or not.

Tien quirked at eyebrow at the lifeless form of the mage. That had been an altogether short and random encounter. He shrugged it off, though, and walked a bit down the street toward incoming traffic. As he circled around the wreck of their old vehicle, he dropped the shaft of the umbrella and called over to Tokai. "Get everything out of the back, I'll get us a new car."
One advantage to a white suit, it made you look somewhat official. He held his gun at his side and slightly behind him. Not quite hiding, which would be obvious, but surreptitiously letting it blend into the shade cast by his jacket. His other hand he held out in front of him in a very authoritarian manner at the nearest car approaching him.
"Excuse me, sir. This is an emergency. We have a roll over and I'm going to have to ask you t-" He spoke in his best english as he circled benignly around toward the drivers side window, not even bothering to spit out of the end of the last syllable as he casually brought his gun up and shot the pedestrian in the head.
He silently thanked whoever invented shatterproof glass as he punched straight through the window, hauled the fatass out of the drivers seat before he could slump onto the gas pedal, and pulled him right through the window. Pausing to take a drag from his cigarette as the stranger landed on the street with a meaty impact, he opened the door and looked back at his compatriots. "Hurry up."

On Jansen, Legart would fine the runic knife - nothing special or magical about it, it was merely an ornamental blade Jansen wore to look pretty. He would also find an ornate mirror, and several valuable looking gold rings on his fingers, studded with semi-precious stones.

Getting up Tokai made his way over to the car to see if anything could be salvaged as Legart checked the body and Tein got them a new car. Kicking open the trunk of the now demolished car, he gathered up the cases containing Legarts stuff and made his way over to to car Tein had just appropriated for them. Looking down in disgust at the man he had shot. "We could have let him live," he exclamined as he packed the stuff in to the trunk after Tein poped it, "now the local law might try to get involved."

Legart didn't take the knife--it wasn't something he'd use, and despite its ornamental value, it was too distinctive. Somebody might recognize it and try to blow his head off for selling it to them. Deftly pulling the rings off Jansen's fingers, Legart made his way back to the car, putting the rings in his pocket but drawing out the marble, which he handed to Tokai. "Hang on to this one," he said as he gestured with his gun for Tien to get out of the driver's seat.
As Tien moved, Legart holstered his pistol, tugged his seat belt on, closed the door, waited for his companions to get situated, and gunned the engine of the somewhat-used Audi S8 that was now theirs, heading off for the Boardwalk.

"Not all of us can stop a car by sitting on it." Tien said conversationally as he searched around under the steering wheel for the trunk release, "unless I'm mistaken if I'd taken the time to simply haul him out he might've panicked and you were right in front of the car." His statement was punctuated by the pop of the trunk opening.
There he got out of the white man's way, grabbed some boxes, placed them in the back, and circled around to sit shotgun once again. This time, he wore his seatbelt.

Getting into the back seat Tokai put down the shot gun. Leaning back he opened his jacket, pulling his shirt down and exposing the top part of what appeared to be an oni tattoo. With a small grunt he extracted the dasher marble from the oni's third eye and replaced with the new silver one. "Thanks for the new one, anything would be better for me then that stupid running fast one," he said as they made their way to the boardwalk.

Aiolos yawned, this day, despite it's zombie destroying start, it was quite boring.
Dammit, was there anything actually here? Please let there be something here.

Adam yawned after Aiolos. Apparently there was some truth to them being contagious.
He reached into one of his pockets and pulled out a roll of duct tape, then swiftly bit off a small sliver and chewed at it before placing the tape back in its pocket. He looked to Aiolos and smirked. "Gettin' borin', eh?"
