So the machine popped out a drink and Tweak shock-jumped.
...Then just kind of looked pissed when the drink exploded. Because like getting rained on by foot and a** cola was totally not on the list of things he had wanted to complete today. Not like he could do much about it beyond using his sleeve, which was not too horribly wet, to wipe the pop from his face.
"Why cant it just be zombies again?" No real mention of what the hell he was talking about beyond that.
When Athan held out the money, Tweak made no move for it. But he did glare at Angel when she decided to get in her jibe. "b***h please, watch it shoot you down with a a** pop."
...Another step forward, but enough to the side so that a drink would hopefully not put a hole in him.

The next soda to pop out arced off to the side, clear of the three, down into the halls of the university and out of sight. One explosive POP! later, they could hear the sound of a young man crying out in pain.
The machine returned to its shaking, a little more subdued once more, as the third light in a row came on. Root Beer this time.

"Oi..zombies?" He had to mention zombies. Angel turned to glare at Tweak. "I bet it'll hit you-"
The machine made a swoosh sound, bringing her attention back to it. She watched the soda shoot off down the hall, followed by a man crying out. "That must have hurt."
Stepping back, she handed the last two dollar bills to Tweak. "Your turn." She grinned, waiting for him to take a step up to home plate. "Good luck." Wow, she was in a mood.

Athan didn't really have to worry about pinning the machine down too much anymore, as his nigh-quarter ton frame held it fairly stationary.
He was basically sitting on top of it now, looking down and watching Angel as she put the money into Tweak's hands.
Yep, teamwork was glorious.
"Just so we're clear, this whole thing better have a point or I'm going to end up tearing this machine in half."

Tweak just kind of looked on disinterest as some poor fellow screamed off in the distance. Long as it was not him, that was what counted.
See'ing as how it did not appear to be aiming at them Tweak was a little more apathetic towards the situation. Though he still made sure to not stand right in front of the exit for the soda.
"Yeah zombies," Smooth out the slightly wet bill. ", hear about that city Agrippina awhile back? Was my hometown y'know." And with that he stuck the money into the machine.
Glance up to Athan, "Good deal."
And with that he pressed the button for root beer and threw himself to the left of the machine. Y'know, hurling his entire body in that direction in hopes that he would escape whatever flew out and tried to kill him.
Cause of course it would try and kill him particularly.

The next soda can shot straight into the air, stopped and landed right-side-up, a perfectly undamaged can of Root Beer.
Meanwhile, the machine calmed down a little more, as the next light went on: lemon-lime.

"Hey! Root beer!"
Athan hopped off the machine, and went over to grab the can. He tapped the top of the tab, not like it would really make any difference, before he cracked it open to let a lot of fizz roll down his fingers.
Tweak should have been able to get the last dollar in, anyway.
Athan, meanwhile, walked back to the machine while chugging the beverage.

She nodded at Athan's words. The machine was starting to get on her nerves. She was beginning to think that nothing was going to happen.
"Never heard of the city Agrippina."
Angel was watching Tweak as he pressed the button and threw himself off to the left. She stiffled a laugh.
The soda shot out, but this time it didn't explode.
"Well, this is just retarded. We keep feeding it money and it keeps shooting soda out."
She watched Athan grab the root beer and open it. Of course, she didn't want to touch the soda in fear that it might explode. The large man walked back to the machine.
"If it just shoots another soda out I vote that we move on."

"Let's just get this over with. Want to place bets on the lethality of the next one?" He was annoyed with having just made a fool of himself.
And with that he moved to shove the next bill into the slot as soon as he was standing up again. This time there was none of that jumping to the side in an attempt to dodge. He just kind of winced and shut his eyes when he pushed the button for lemon-lime, a flavor that did nothing for him.

The can flew from Athan's grip, then turned back on him, flying at his face.
Meanwhile, the lemon-lime soda came out of the machine as usual, and the machine died down once and for all.

"GFAH!"
Athan barely ducked out of the way as the can launched out of his grip as if it had a mind of its own. As he ducked, he stumbled a little due to being off balance, his right hand moving up to grab his sword as he went, turned, and faced the dreaded haunted can of Gaia University.
Yeah, big sword, little can.
Hopefully it stopped moving or they were going to need to repave a lot of sidewalks.

"That's why I avoided the can of root beer." Angel commented after the can flew out of Athan's hand. She watched the large man draw his sword.
She moved to the side of the machine, leaving Athan to battle with the can of soda, and waited as Tweak shoved another bill into the machine. She heard the clank as the can of soda was fed out. She'd been waiting for something wordly to suddenly happen. Furrowing her brow, she frowned at the machine.
"Well, go ahead, Tweak, you know you want to drink it."

"Fo' sho. I was so not touchin' that."
Did not even bother holding back the laughter at Athan's situation. When it was not him getting assaulted all was good. 'Its only funny until someone gets hurt, then it's hilarious' and all of that good stuff.
Angel and him were just getting along so well though.
"How ********' retarded you think I am? Wait, y'know what, I dont even want to hear your opinion there." All said as he snatched the drink out and thrust it in her direction as if it were a bomb or something.
"Besides I hate that flavor anyway." A convient truth it was.
If she refused it he was immediately going to pop it open pointing in her direction. mad

The root beer can zipped back and forth through the air, hovering for a split second before appearing in its next location, its course gradually straifing around Athan.
In the Lemon Lime can, however, there appeared to be something hard, that rattled against the insides when shook.

Angel couldn't help but laugh, grabbing the can from Tweak. As she grabbed it there was something clanking against the metal of the can.
"I'm afraid to find out what's inside it." She sighed. "Just remember if the healer goes down you are going to wish you hadn't made me open it."
His question made her raise an eyebrow. "Fine. I won't answer that."
She raised the can away from her and flipped the top, waiting for some huge explosion or something.
