Sitting in the Ferrari as the ferry crossed from the beach to the port, he looked out over the edge and sighed, taking another drag on his cigar. For good measure, Adam reached over and pressed down on the zurg button again. Who knows, something might happen.

Finally, the Ferry reached the port. About time, Adam thought as he drove the Ferrari off onto the port.

The car roars off the ramp as the Ferry departs, catching several moments of air before landing wheels-first onto the boat. Once there, it backs up almost suicidally fast, screeching to a halt meer inches from plunging a** backward into the foamy water following the Ferry. Here, Tien guns the engine, apparently planning to repeat his earlier performance on the opposite shore.

She couldn't have timed it any better herself. She stepped on board, and then waited for it to shove off. This was nice. Maybe she'd meet a few people along the way.

It couldn't be this easy. Where was everyone. Had the boys been wrong? She stepped off and made her way.

BEACH >> FERRY
They weren't waiting. They were jacking the Ferry.
James let the car idle, hopped out, and threatened the driver at gunpoint.
"Take us to Barton."
He didn't give an option. The boat floored it... or the equivalent. The throttle was fully open, and they were overturning the smaller fishing boats that they passed en route with the wake kicked up by the Ferry.
In a few minutes time the Ferry pulled into the Gambino Port, and James just jumped back into the convertible, revved the engine, and jumped the remaining distance off the back of the boat; landing with a heavy thud and the scratching of metal against pavement as the car landed in the port.
