Fire, and last the man saw, Tweak was right in the middle of it. Tweak was gone, he was dead. He made a fatal mistake, not following through. His wings snapped up against his body, sending hiim into a power dive down towards Angel as he reached for two more grenades. As he reached midpoint on his dive, he tossed them out towards Angel. One aimed 5 feet to her right and behind, another to her left and in front. Both were the fragmentation types, sending a storm of shrapnel towards her as they exploded. And as soon as he tossed his grenades, he pulled out of the dive, letting out the Laugh again.

Angel expected that attack. It was starting to get old. The same attack, lob the grenades and protect herself with a shield, which is exactly what she did, once again. She threw a shield up to defend her against the two grenades.
They exploded, shaking the shield, but she fought not to lose control of the shield. If Tweak was down, she had to do something.
She heard the sounds of others approaching. She took the off chance that the winged man would get distracted by the newcomers. If he did, she was letting the shield fall and calling upon a lightning bolt to attack the being with. It was a huge attack for her, using a bit of her energy. If the lightning hit the winged man he'd get shocked and possibly start to fry.

"What the-?"
Grenade man? That girl from the bar way back when?
Three bullets at the dive-bomber. It was probably a bit of a stretch, considering the distance that was undoubtedly between them, but he wasn't just going to sit back and let someone get bombed.
Unfortunately, drawing attention to himself was probably bad when there was a flying grenade man running around.

Assuming that Angel putting up her shield would cancel the sphere around him, Tweak's head fell back and hit the concrete. It was rather painful despite the already present throbbing. The biggest issue is that it made him extremely dizzy.
Still though...self-preservation and all that.
Current state probably meant he was not very useful to Angel at the moment - he had barely registered the others - and thus was in the way. So rather then do anything dumb like hang around he started to move back. And shooting was pointless with his vision swimming.
First had to come sitting up, then kind of backwards duck walking with his head all sagging around and eyes wide open. It was kind of like drunk walking or in this case crawling as he kept his eyes on the same point to ward off some of the dizzy spell.
He would not get far...but the thing did not seem interested in him anyway.

The first shot hit the man, right int he shoulder, right next to where the blade met the beginning of the wing. Big, painful. He dropped out of the sky, hitting the ground, HARD. There was a crunch, he probably broke a leg, from how it was misshapen.
He was laying on the ground, twisting around as he reached into one of his bandoliers.

Arcturus Highwind He was laying on the ground, twisting around as he reached into one of his bandoliers. WHUSH!Dasher was a wonderful thing to have sometimes... it let you cross distances faster than normal, with the penalty of not being able to stop. Like this, though, being able to stop didn't matter as much since James was rushing as quickly as he could to get a hand on the guy before he could pull out any type of weapon. With any luck the grenade he pulled from the bandolier would be punted right out of his hand before James promptly tripped, fell, and rolled a dozen feet across the street.

Angel was impressed. The winged man fell to the ground. Her shield was already down, ready for action. She brought an arrow out as the winged man started to reach for something, but James was on the being before she did anything, kicking at whatever the winged man had in his hand.
While James did that, she brought her bow up, arrow pointed at the beings head, she released the arrow, hoping for a quick death for the winged man, and if not, she wouldn't cry over it. He was the one with a bug up his a**, lobbing grenades at everyone.

He had been pulling out something that looked like a remote trigger. Big, shiny red button, roughly the size of a pen. A little thicker, a little shorter.
But he never had the chance to use it. James's kick just about shattered his wrist into a million pieces, and sent the remote flying off towards Angel and Athan.
He tried to roll over onto his belly, cradling his hand. Then the arrow came in. Excellent hit, rigth in the eye. Went right through to his brain. He rolled onto his stomach, the arrow snapped off, and he stopped struggling.
Dead. Yeah, probably. Blood loss and arrow to the brain.

The arrow hit the man's eye. Angel winced as it pierced it and the winged man struggled until he turned onto his stomach. She knew that one had to hurt.
The remote landed near her feet. She picked it up, looking over the remote with a quizzical expression. "What the hell's this supposed to do?"
Still holding it, she glanced over in James direction as she moved towards the winged dead man and started sifting through his clothing. Well, he might have a marble on him..
"Everyone doing well?"
She asked this as she went through the winged man's belongings. If anyone had sustained some body damage she could at least heal them up.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand that was a mess. Cleanup in aisle four.
Of course James didn't even see the arrow come in, he was too busy recovering from that sudden dash by rubbing the side if his hand on his forehead. Man, today just hurt.
Though his posts had been very lax in mentioning it, he did have one large object that he'd been carrying around with him this whole time, and it would probably do well to remind himself and everyone else of the fact that it existed...
Getting to his feet, he had the pistol in his left hand, and his right scooped up the handle of the riot shield that had skittered across the ground with him; adding to how much that stung.
"Everybody okay over there?"
He looked to the guy with an arrow in his eye.
"...not talking to you."

Well now he just felt dumb. Trying to be all heroic or something and hurt the thing, failing miserably mind you, and these two took it down no problem.
"I'm fine." Answer to James and Angel's questions.Bitterness, but he also had a killer headache which he was trying all too hard to ignore as he shuffled up to his feet. More like shuffling up to a full stand from behind a mail box where he then started making his way over to Angel.
Not a very...solid and confident walk. Especially not when he came really close to stumbling.
"Or I could have a concussion. Whutevah." So nonchalant about it...or at least acting like he was. This one was said to Angel as he reached her to see if she had found anything. That 'omfgcanimakeprofit?' response really needed to go away.
As for the other three here, he just kind of stared at them now that he had time to do so. The whole 'not worried about getting blown up' thing wonders for his observational skills.
"Well that was nice." They had helped right? confused

Angelbell The remote landed near her feet. She picked it up, looking over the remote with a quizzical expression. "What the hell's this supposed to do?" "I'd recommend just... not trying to figure it out." "Better than this guy," he said, gesturing to the man whom Angel was busy rifling through the possessions of, "...or that guy." He nodded his head towards Tweak, who was still floundering around on the ground. "Today has been one hell of a day..." Sigh. Times are tough.
