Luc all the way till Suikoden 2, and....Jowy. Seriously.
I took one look at him and concluded that he had to be a girl. That was, until my sister pulled me to the PS and pointed the word 'he'.
Let's not forget Tuta as well. biggrin

I guess I must be one of the few who didn't think Gremio was a girl in Suiko I (but I cheated because my friend told me about him before I ever played the game) xd I agree completely with Wakaba being a girl and not looking anything like a boy - then again, she looks just like Sakura Kasugano from Street Fighter Alpha 2/3 to me, so as soon as I saw her, I immediately assumed she was a girl >_>
Now! I thought Oskar from Suiko IV was a girl with the way he looks, but with a name like Oskar.. I guess he's a guy after all ~_~

I definately had issues with Rico in Suikoden III. I'm pretty sure that there were more...but I can't remember right now...

I actually mistook Wakaba as a boy. And I also thought that Tuta was a boy until I was trying to find out his secrets. Tee hee hee...And I thought that Adrienne from 4 was a boy. I was reading the official guide when they said "she" and "her".

Simone Verdricci and Vincent De Boule from Suikoden 2 there listed as gender:unknown in the strategy guide and the really kinda freak me out lol. xd

I was confused about Shabon for a while...until I asked Kidd. Augustine scares me, too... They list his gender as unknown in the menu profile, yet Kidd refers to him as a "he." I checked the Complete Guide and Character Guide, and they both list his gender as unknown.

I was confused about Tuta for a while. My sister poited out he was a boy....Quincey in S1--that's a boy? I was sure it was a girl...And Rico and Marco. Rico's a girl right? I still haven't figured out Marco....

i mistook luc (s1),tuta,quency,wakaba(serously upuntill i took her into the bath i had no idea), milich, all of the narcicists and last but not leastjowy....i thaught he was a girl at the begining.....how was i so blind lol domokun domokun domokun

in Suikoden II, Tuta, Wakaba, Zamza... and the main character.
eek WAAIT!!! I can explain(or at least formulat an excuse) I had not played many games, watched much anime or read many manga. of the latter, I doubt I had heard them named so... when we saw a big eyed innocent-looking character, it registerd as female. Jowy actually wasn't an issue, it probobly had to do with how he acted...
it took me many days and several baths to figure it out.... And dosen't Sigfried bath with the women? that didn't help much.

I was totally confused when my strat guide said that Tuta was actually a guy. I had to go online to search for confirmation just to believe it! Other than that, I just thought Rico was a chick at first.
