Chapter 7: To the End
"Bob, are sure about this outfit?"
"Trust me, I've seen people wear weirder things. Be thankful I didn't give you Frank's old Michael Jackson jacket."
Allison nodded in reply to the wardrobe. He had picked out her clothes for the day, seeing as the ones she wore to the house were old and now covered in blood. She was now dressed in a tight black t-shirt with a skull in red and silver rhinestones, along with a bright silver studded belt and black jeans, ripped at the knees. Topping it all off was a black and white striped hoodie with zippers in the sleeves and black Vans to replace her dirty old Circas.
A knock came at the door just as she finished tucking a stray strand of ruby hair behind her ear.
"Come in!" she called, and Gerard stepped in. His golden eyes widened slightly in response to her new look.
"Uh, nice hoodie," he mumbled awkwardly, and Allison giggled a bit.
Come on Gee-man, don't be nervous! You used to sweep 'em off their feet! He thought, took a deep breath, and asked her.
"I noticed that you're wandering around the house a lot," he siad with is eyes cat to the floor, "want me to show you more of the place?"
Allison smiled at the nervous beast. What a sweetheart, she thought to herself, if he was a regular guy all the girls in Belleville would fall head over heels for him.
"I'd be delighted," she said, and immediately Gerard took her hand and led her down the hall.
~~~
"OK Gerard, I think I;ve seen all the rooms I can for one day!" Allison laughed, as she sat down exhausted on a dusty couch in the main hall. They haf seen everything, from the crystal chandelier above them, to the long, tree-filled paths behind the house, to the beautiful stone chapel attached to the side.
"Alright, I'll sit down while you catch your breath," he sighed dramatically, as he plopped down next to her. His great weight on the bench caused Allison to suddenly slide into the dperession he made, and she landed with a thump with her face making a solid contact with his hairy shoulder.
"Little close, are we?" he asked, then laughed a bit. Allison smirked, then sighed a bit. She noticed Gerard's eyes take on a worried look, so she explained to him what she was missing.
"I just haven't heard any good music in days," she sighed, "There's no radios or anything here."
Suddenly, Gerard clapped his paws over he eyes, causing her to squeak with fright.
"Don't open your eyes," he said as he guided her down the hall and into a doorway. She heard him unlock the door, and was gently pushed inside.
"OK, you can open them...NOW!"
Allison gasped a bit, and a huge smile spread over her face. In front of her were three massive shelves, each one with letters drawn on them in alphabetical order. In each section were hundreds of CD from hundreds of bands and artists. She read out the names in her head as she traced her fingers over the covers and artwork on each disk: The Clash, Aiden, Fall Out Boy, Queen, Green Day...she noticed two spaces missing in the MY section,but couldn't figure out what could be there.
"I hope you like it," she could almost hear Gerard smile. "It's all our favorites."
"Mine too! It's weird how I have the same love of Green Day as a talking lighter," Allison laughed, to a chuckle from Gerard. "Pulling out one CD, her eyes lit up. "From Under the Cork Tree," she read out the title, "I haven't heard any Fall Out Boy in ages! You ever heard 'em?"
Gerard shook his shaggy head, "No, I haven;t really listened to anything in a while."
"We could listen to it now," she piped up.
Gerard looked at the floor awkwardly again, as he rubbed the back of his neck with his paw. Say it Gee-man, SAY IT! He urged in his mind. "I was thinking maybe we could listen to it tonight, as the background music at dinner."
Allison raised her eyebrows. Dinner? "Like a date?" she asked.
He hesitated for a moment. "Yes," he finally said, anf cringed for the refusal.
"I'd like that," she replied, "there's nothing else to do here."
~~~
Mr. Belle was desperate. It had been almost a week since he had to leave Allison at the mansion in the claws of that monster. Police didn't believe his "Monster house" story, and now the neighbors had begun to be suspicious as to his mental state. He abandoned her to die, some said. Others thought that she ran away. A few even suggested suicide as the cause of her disappearance.
"I can't believe I'm doing this," he moaned, as he waited for the someone to answer the door at the Williams residence. It was known that the handsome Jon had an interest in Allison and that he would likely be concerned for her safety.
Jon opened the door and looked down at the short man he recognized as Allison's dad. Before MR. Belle could even say a word, Jon answered.
"Whoever has her imprisoned like this, I swear I'll kill 'im."
Mr. Belle was more scared than reassured.
~~~
"Whoo-hoo! Casanova Gee has returned! Who knows when the next one'll fall for him!"
"Frank, shut up," Gerard shot back at the lighter. Falling back dow onto his bed, his head began to spin. He was a little more than overwhelmed as to what to do. He hadn't been on a date in years, and was considering backing out when his friends came to his aid.
Mikey shushed Frank, then turned to his brother. "Listen Gee," he began, "think about her. She's the only on who hasn't taken off on you, killed herself or tried to kill you. She HAS to be the one to set us free from this curse," he then added, "and you really like her, don't you?"
Gerard lingered on the word "like". It's more than like, he thought, more like love. "Yeah..." he answered his brother.
Just then, Frank cut in. "So what are you waiting for dude? Let's get you ready for the lovely Allison tonight!"
~~~
Allison was beginning to wonder what Bob had in mind to happen that evening. He had picked out a black strapless dress with red rosettes and lace at the top of the bodice, and a red silk bow was tied around her middle. Part of Ray's legion of hair tools had curled and shined up her hair, pinning it behind her ears with silver and red enamel clips shaped like roses. Along with matching earrings, her nails had been painted black, and she wore black and red silk shoes that were a combination of ballet slippers and platforms, with silky ribbons that laced up her ankles.
"Believe me, you look gorgeous," Bob reassured as she checked herself from every angle in the mirror, "this was inspired by a very special lady like yourself."
A knock came from the door, and Ray came to escort her down the stairs.
At the top of the staircase, Ray coughed, then spoke. "Presenting Miss Allison Belle of Belleville." he announced to the others waiting below.
Allison smiled at his formal intro, then made her way down the stairs. She saw Gerard with Frank and Mikey at his side, and smiled more as his eyes widened at the sight of her. He was dressed smartly in a black tux and a red and black striped tie, and his claws on both his paws and feet had been clipped. His long black hair had been cut to just below his ears, and bangs hung over his forehead.
As she reached him at the bottom, she heard Frank and Mikey whisper encouragement to their friend as they hopped off to the dining room.
"You look beautiful tonight," he whispered as he led her to the dinning room.
"Your quite handsome yourself," Allison added.
They sat talking over dinner for a while, laughing over the same things, each one growing closer by the minute to the other. Suddenly, the thump of a familiar drum beat echoed though the main hall over a stereo Frank found.
"Dance Dance," she sighed, "I love that song!"
Gerard glared at Frank and Mikey, who stood looking ever so innocent in the doorway. "Ask her to dance," Frank mouthed over to his friend.
So Gerard took Allison's hand, and they twirled gently through the main hall. Song after song played, as Frank skipped back and forth between the slowest songs on the record. Now, as "Sugar, We're Going Down" played, Allison rested her head on his chest as they slow-danced. Am I more than you bargained for, yet I've been dying to tell you anything you want to hear...
"Aren't they so sweet together," Mikey sighed, and Frank nodded, and added, "Makes me almost wish to wanna be her," he smirked as the three skipped back up the stairs to leave the couple alone.
As the last riff of the song played, Gerard sat her down on on of the benches, and his heart skipped a few beats when she didn't struggle as she slid close. They sat like that for many minutes, just happy to be near each other, until Allison sighed.
"What's wrong?" Gerard asked, noticing the girl's sudden sadness.
"Nothing, it's just...I miss my dad so much. I just wish that I could see him," Allison sighed again.
Gerard fumbled in the pocket of his blazer, then pulled out the mirror. "Here," he said, handing it to her, "just ask it where your dad is, and it'll show you."
Allison nodded, and asked the mirror. "I'd like to see my dad, please." The silvery surface of the mirror melted away, leaving a clear image that caused her to cry out.
Her dad was being shoved into a port-a-potty by the guy she hated, Jon Williams. Behind him was a crowd of his cheering, jeering cronies, who delighted in the shaking and eventual tumble of the toilet. She could hear her dad screaming for her to come....
"Oh no, dad!" Allison cried as she jumped to her feet. "I have to help him!'
"Wait..." Gerard called weakly to her as she ran out the door. "I need you." He whispered, as a great salty tear fell down his face.

Chapter 8: I'D Die for You
Allison made it to the town as people were beginning to gather around Jon. Keeping to the field's perimeter, she could just make out his words.
"I say we rid Belleville once and for all from the menace that has stolen my lover away! Kill the beast!"
"Kill the beast! Kill the beast!" the crowd chanted in return as they marched to the mansion on the hill.
You b*****d, her thoughts hissed, I'd never be your lover if you were the last male in the universe.
Reaching the potty, she yanked the door open, ignoring the stench and the liquid that seeped onto her shoes. He father tumbled out, dazed, but still conscious.
"Oh, Belle! You're alright!" he cried as he caught her in a hug.
"Dad, we have to help Gerard," she panted, and quickly explained to him what had gone on at the mansion.
"And now everyone's out to kill him and it's all my fault!" she cried as her eyes began to water. "We have to get there now."
"Well then, let's run!" he shouted as they dashed for the hill.
~~~
Gerard was in such a daze that he almost sat on Frank when he fell onto his his bed when he reached the comforting darkness of his room.
"Hey, watch it! So, how's our Romeo doing?" he asked, oblivious to his friend's sadness.
"She left." came Gerard's monotone reply.
"Of cour- what?" Frank was joined by Ray and Mikey at that moment. Mikey began to sob while Ray just looked down. "Dude! She was the one! How could she just go like that?!?"
He was too busy yelling to notice the loud mob outside the mansion doors until they broke into the hall.
"Kill the beast! KILL THE BEAST!" came the bloodthirsty chant.
"Well, this is the end," Gerard sighed as his friends took off to drive back the mob. He turned to the chamber where the tie was kept, and saw that almost the whole thing had turned a faded black, save one small crimson strip at the bottom. "I wasn't gonna make it anyways."
~~~
"Hair accessories, ATTACK!" Ray screamed as an army of bobby pins and trimming scissors rained down on the townspeople. Frank was setting many heads of hair on fire, and Mikey worked hard to keep dumping hot drinks on people and flinging forks at attackers. "I always knew watching Mystery Men would save my life," he yelled over the fray. Bob was helping by throwing shoes at people who came too close to the stairs.
Amid the chaos, Allison and her dad bolted in and dodged fleeing attackers as they ran to the staircase. Allison was just in time to see Jon disappear up the stairs as they made it. "Wait here," she told her dad, as she sprinted up the opposite stair.
~~~
Jon stalked up the stairs, the kitchen knife held in his hand. This'll be fun, he smirked evilly to himself as he took the handle to Gerard's room and opened the door. Glancing inside beofre stepping in, he saw Gerard's massive figure hunched in his drawing chair, watching the fight in the main hall in the magic mirror.
"You gonna attack me or what?" Jon spat. Gerard made no reply. As Jon drew the knife above Gerard's head, something hit him hard in the back of the legs. Buckling from the blow, Jon dropped the knife. The metallic sound made him spin around in his chair, to see Allison holding several Green Day CDs like ninja stars.
"Stay down unless you want 10/39 wedged in your ankle," she hissed, then dropped the discs and ran into Gerard's arms. "Oh, Gee," she whispered as he held her close.
"You came back," he said as he released her from the hug. "Listen, Allison. I need to tell you this," he said, holding her hand on his chest so that she could feel just how fast his heart was going. Suddenly, he let out an earsplitting howl the echoed thought the house. The knife now protruded from his left side, dangerously close to his heart. Jon grinned horribly as he saw Gerard collapse. But before he hit the ground, he lashed out with a mighty paw, scoring Jon's face badly and knocking out the window to hit the round below. He died instantly.
"Gerard, no!" Allison cried as her eyes began to run over with tears. He now lay gasping, his head cradled in her arms as his eyes went dull. "Don't go," she whimpered as his breath grew weak. "I love you."
At these words, Gerard's body was enveloped in a red glow and seemed to shrink. Then the knife and the bloody wound vanished as well. The black fur disappeared, and the paws were replaced by normal hands and feet. Allison stared in wonder as the beast's features gave way to those of a very handsome man with mid-length black hair and pale skin. Slowly, he awoke, revealing the same golden hazel eyes that she had fallen for in the beginning.
"G-Gerard?" she asked, staring as he sat up and looked deep into her eyes.
"Allison," he replied, in a voice that was free of any roughness that the beast's had, that was as sweet and musical as any bird's song in the middle of winter.
Allison kept stuttering. "But you're...I mean, were...the knife was...what?"
"Shh, babe." was all he said before pulling her close and silencing her with the sweetest kiss she had ever known. For long moments they sat there, just happy to be closer, to be together at last.
A wild yell of triumph from downstairs jolted them apart, as a massive smile cracked over Gerard's face. "What the-" he said as he and Allison reached the bottom of the stairs.
The lighter, iron, mug and closet were gone. In the lighter's place was a short, cute guy who looked like he was about 20, with black hair in an emo swoop and a lot of tattoos. In his ears were two black spacers, and he had a lip ring in the right side and one in the left side of his nose. The hair iron was now a tall, strong-looking man with a massive dark red afro that seemed to come alive as he jumped around. The mug had become a thin, pale guy with short dark brown hair with a red beanie over it. The wardrobe had transformed into a thickset blonde man with a thin stubble beard and a large ring in the left side of his mouth. And in the middle of it all, Allison's dad was on a couch looking bewildered.
"Alright! Iero the Hero's back!" yelled Frank, striking a pose and admiring his own muscles. "Still toned and lookin' good! Check these out!"
Ray just rolled his eyes at his friend. "You're still shorter than me, Flero," to which Frank stuck out his tongue. "You only have the height cause of the hair, Afroman."
"You two stop fighting an-BROTHER!" Mikey yelled as he ran to the stairs and caught his shorter older brother in a fierce hug.
"Leggo of me, clingy," Gerard gasped as he forced Mikey's arms off him. Putting his arm around Allison's waist and drawing her close, he added, "She's getting all of my hugs now."
"Aww, so cute. Don't you just love happy endings?" Bob said as he brought her stunned father over to the stair. Frank and Ray stopped poking each other and came to the bottom stair as well.
Mr. Belle now snapped out of his daze. "You're not gonna throw me in the closet again?" he asked, to which Gerard laughed.
"No way man," he replied, "I'm not insane anymore! However;" he added, and giving a look to Allison that made her knees weak, "I am insanely in love with your daughter. Would you be willing to let her be with a guy like me?"
MR. Belle paused for a moment, then said, "Prove that you've fallen for her. Kiss her right here and now, in front of everyone. And it has to be a proper kiss, none of this peck-on-the-cheek stuff."
"DAD!" Allison protested, as Bob and Mikey bean laughing uncontrollably and Frank and Ray began singing the chorus of "A Little Less Sixteen Candles"
So hey, what are you waiting for? Kiss her , kiss her!
Gerard looked at the small group and shook his head. "Some things never change," before roughly hugging her close and giving her the strongest, deepest, most fiery kiss he could. Allison thought she was going to faint when he pulled away, and he had to catch her to stop her from falling, to the cheers and whistles of the rest of the band.
"Alright, you can have her," he dad told Gerard, who couldn't help but whoop with sheer joy and jump, dragging Allison with him.
"Boo-yeah! Back to in love! Back to being human! And possibly most of all, back to being My Chemical Romance, guys!"
Mr. Belle didn't cheer with everyone else. "What kind of romance?" was all he said before Frank tackled him.
As everyone still fought and yelled, Gerard and Allison stared deep into each other's eyes. "Forever?" she asked, knowing what the answer would be.
"Forever," he whispered before they kissed again.
Epilogue Part one
"Allison, quit fussing with that bouquet. All the roses are gonna wilt if you do."
"But Jamia, I need something to worry with!" Allison pleaded to her friend.
"You have nothing to worry about," Alicia comforted, "You love him, and he loves you, right? I know that he'd die for you."
"Aww, thanks Ali." Allison smiled at her two friends. In the years that had passed, Frank and Mikey had both found true love as well. There couldn't be better matches made in Heaven. Jamia was just as wild and emotional as Frank, and Alicia was just as sweet and quiet as Mikey. And now, they were helping her get ready to marry the love of her life.
"You look stunning! You'll be the envy of everybody at the reception." Jamia gushed.
Allison looked at herself in the mirror. The dress made her think of the one she wore on that first date years ago, as it was almost the same style. It was more silvery than white, and shimmered in the bright lights of the changing room. Her shoes were almost exact copies of the black ones, but these were silver with tiny red crystals. On her head was a silver tiara with ruby stones that seemed to pulse with brightness, and her hair had been curled and left loose and unpinned. Her bouquet was almost entirely red roses, wrapped in white paper and tied with a black ribbon.
"Allison?" She turned around to see her father, for once dressed up in a smart black suit, but looking uncomfortable out of his usual uniform of old jeans and shirts. "It's time."
Allison held his hand tightly as they made their way to the chapel along the path.
~~~
"Gerard, stop twitching. Or warming up, whatever."
"Dammit, Mikey let go of me! Why the hell would I do a runner on this of all days?" Gerard hissed as he jerked his arm away. He readjusted the cuff on his shirt and went back to picking at the red rose pinned on his jacket. Well, today's the day, Gee-man, he thought, No going back.
"And here comes the bride," Frank whispered to the brothers as the chapel doors swung open and the the organist began to play.
Allison couldn't help but giggle a bit when she saw all three of the guy's jaws drop to the floor when they saw her. Her father was a little less amused.
"Boys will be boys," he sighed as he left her at the altar.
The ceremony seemed to go by in a blink for Allison and Gerard. She could hear Frank whisper, "And now for my favorite part of the show," when the priest finally said the words.
"You may now kiss the bride."
Gerard was expecting a small, polite kiss, but Alison had other ideas. She threw her hands around his neck and practically dragged him to her open lips. He hesitated for a moment, then gave in and kissed her back harder as she buried her fingers in his long raven hair.
"Hey hey, save some for tonight, you two!" Frank interrupted and winked at the two, as Mikey turned red and started giggling like a little kid.
Gerard glared at his friend and brother for a moment, then turned back to Allison. "Bunch of clowns," he sighed as they made their way back down the aisle. Allison smiled a bit as she rested her head on his shoulder as they walked to the reception hall.
"And here they are! The long-awaited Mr. and Mrs Way!" Gerard blushed at Ray's announcement of their arrival as the guests all applauded and Frank whistled. "So that's where Ray went," he sighed as his afro-topped friend came over.
"Well it's true," Ray stated, yanking at a stray curl. "You two certainly took your time getting together."
"I don't see you with a bride anywhere," Gerard retorted and ray blushed a bit.
Suddenly, over the speakers a familiar drum beat thumped over the string quartet tape. Allison looked over at Frank as he smiled innocently by the CD player, as Gerard mouthed the song's title to himself. Dance, Dance he thought. If there was ever an appropriate wedding to play Fall Out Boy, this is it, he beamed as he took Allison's arm and led her to the dance floor.

Epilogue, Part Two Year 2007: MCR is riding the wave of comeback success with their new album, The Black Parade. And a few others are tagging along for the ride.
"Dayna, I know you're in here," Pete smiled evilly as he searched the bus for his twin sister. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he saw something on Ray's bunk move. Slowly, he stepped over to the ladder, and prepared to jump on his unsuspecting sister.
"BOO!" He yelled as Dayna screamed.
"Hey, you were supposed to find me, not scare me!" she yelled back, as he lobbed a pillow at her from his bunk. She retaliated by whipping a dirty sock, but just then, Frank walked in. Dayna and Pete cringed as the sock flew into his mouth.
"DUDE! Gross!" he spat the sock out and gagged, "Uncle Frank's gonna get you two for that!"
"Catch us first!" the twins yelled as they sprinted past him and made for the tents outside the bus.
In the tent, Gerard and Allison, along with the res of the band, were trying to stay out of the intense July sun and heat.
"I hate daytime festivals," Gerard sighed as he took off his shades and squinted at the far-off stage. "Night shows are much better for us."
Allison nodded, and looked over at her husband. They would both turn 30 this year, ad yet the years seemed to have left Gerard untouched. He had cut his long silky hair short, and had dyed it back to it's original black after finding that bleaching it platinum killed his hair badly. Still, he was the same man she fell for years ago. Looking around the tent, she saw Mikey and Bob attempting to braid grass and daisies into a sleeping Ray's hair. Alicia chatted on the phone with Jamia, stuck at home while in her second trimester and due on Oct. 31. Just like Frank, she thought. Another unstable, huggy, and hyperactive member in the Iero family...
"Mom! Dad! Frank's out to get us again!" The couple were taken by surprise as the twins ducked behind them, just as Frank ran in.
"Frankie, leave them alone," Allison sighed as she gave the terrified Pete a hug.
"But they threw a nasty old sock at me," he pleaded, and Gerard punched his shoulder. "Take that!" Frank shoved his friend back as a playful fight ensued.
Allison shook her head at the two bandmates, then turned her attention to the twins. They both took almost exactly after their dad. Both had the same pale skin and golden eyes as Gerard, and had the same raven hair that reached their shoulders. They were never far apart, and no matter where they were, they always seemed to know where the other was. Both were now seven, and living the high life as they tagged along on MCR's summer tour.
"Mom? Should we go tell Ray that Bob and Uncle Mikey are trying to grow flowers in his hair?" Dayna asked.
Allison laughed as she saw Ray's flora-filled fro, and nodded. as the twins ran over and tried to wake Ray up, she felt familiar arms snake around her waist and soft lips on her cheek.
"Hey" Gerard said as he rested his head on Allison's. "How's my girl?"
"She's happier than she's ever been," Allison replied, leaning back against him. "She has a great life, two beautiful children, and most of all," she whispered and turned around to plant a proper kiss on his mouth, "you."
Suddenly, a weird high-pitched scream and loud laughter came from the far corner of the tent. Ray, apparently, had just seen his reflection.
"I think we'd better go help out Raymond," Gerard smiled, and Allison nodded. Holding each other close, they walked off to meet their friends.
