Coycoy @ Weed Unit Under Blue Sky Hey man! I respect your opinion on what you think about communism. But if a system of government doesnt really work well in a certain country, it should be subjected to change. The hard part here is the state of change where in alot of things should be accounted for and be ajusted. Suppose we saw that we change ou government to be an Imperialist, it will take a lot of time and during this transition point it could either make or break a a government system in our country an would therefore either result in turmoil or success. Yet it wouldn't be bad to try other things, but if there will be change in government system, once that change undergoes, there should be no turning back. Parang yung cabinet members ni PGMA. Umulan lang o bumagyo lang ng konti punta agad sa waiting shed nagsiresignan agad yung iba. Hindi dapat ganun. Once again, communism is not a system of government. It is more like an economical principle, but you are right about the drastic change. That is why I decided it is bad that Philippines turn communist at this time.

Weed Unit Under Blue Sky @Bitchwitch: First of all, Communism and Socialism are NOT types of government. Communism can be democratic or otherwise...so don't compare communism to democracy because that is like asking "Which one is heavier, a 1000 grams of cotton or 2000 seconds of time?". You can think of them as "economical principles"... I get your point...HOWEVER, I am not talking about "economical principles" here...and the difference between the two may even be heaven and hell...alright, homo sapien and anime...my point was, no system is going to work unless the people (running it and adhering to it) unite to improve their lives and not to sustain selfish interest.

the philippines cannot be communist unless the Left in the country is still divided
At isang thing pa.... dalawa nga pala ang Left dito sa Philippines. Ito ang mga NacDems (National Democracy) at mga SocDems (Socialist Democracy). Ang ND ay ang CPP-NPA, who resort to strategy of People's Protracted War kaya mga yan nasa bundok. Yung SD nman ay yung mga legal militant organizations tulad ng SANLAKAS, AKBAYAN, Bayan Muna, PM, BMP, etc. Almost pareho lang yang dalawa, kaso super divided kasi one wants a revolutionary war and another wants a parliamentary takeover of the gov't.
