A breif history in RP form
::another day, another home. Engel was getting so tired of this... she brushed a lock of red hair out of her face as she studied the decent sized house in front of her. hmm... looked like a real "family" home. bet they've got a dog, she thought. people with houses like this ALWAYS have a dog... she tried to think of what number this house was.... the fifth or sixth one that year... but she couldn't remember how many foster homes she'd been in and out of since the accident. she didn't remember her parents, she was only five when they died, and they hadn't been around much when they were alive. she didn't really miss them either. from what she'd heard, they hadn't been too great of people. they had been hippies to the core, and never got off the drugs... that was why they died, she knew. they were both high when they got in the car... so much so that they had forgotten to take her with them. perhaps her guardian angel had been watching over her that day. yeah right. where had her sister's guardian angel been then? her parents had forgotten about her, but they remembered her twin... Demin.... she missed her sister far more than she missed her parents. they had been close, so close that she couldn't believe that Demin was gone, even twelve years after the girl's death. but that wasn't the point right now. her sister WAS gone, and wasn't going to come back, ever. now she needed to concetrate on just one more year of foster care... one more year and she'd be eighteen, she'd be free to go her own way... if she could just last one more year....::
(Her wish would be to be able to find a home where she can be happy and not shipped off as soon as her foster parents find out about what kind of people her real parents were)

Even though I've never seen Ah My Goddess! (this is the rp you're doing, right?) I think I would like to join, if that's alright. I even have a character! A human, that is, because I have no idea what the goddesses do smile
Name: Only goes by the nickname Freddy, will not tell anyone her real name.
Age: 22
Physical: Average height, long blonde hair with bright red and purple streaks. She has been sick most of her life, so her weight fluxuates rapidly. One week she could be pencil thin, and a month later she's 50 pounds overweight. Her eyes are bright blue and usually heavily lined with make up. She is self concious about her appearance, so her clothing tends to hide her true shape of the month.
Basic background: Freddy was diagnosed with cancer as a toddler. She has gone in and out of remission seven times since then. She doesn't have much social experience, having been schooled at home or in the hospital since she is so sickly, most of the time she couldn't even be around other people for fear of infection. Presently, she in inbetween chemo rounds. She is in a constant state of worry and anxiety, because her parents always acted this way around her. Even though she is in remission at the moment, she is still skiddish about going outside, or around other people. She spends most of her time locked in her apartment, her parents having died last year in a fatal home invasion.
So her wish would be to be healthy and normal.

Wonderful! okay! we need a few more Goddesses, specifically ones already working for the help line, I'll see who I can pester. Meantime The humans can start posting. if any of the humans would rather NOT have a "Wish" and just host a student Goddess please let me know. Thanks. heart

While playing a human would be more to my normal state, how about playing a male god? I know that sounds wierd, but I just can't bring myself to play a female role. sweatdrop

Kalinda quickly dashed out the front door of her two story house. Just as she had suspected, her father had called in sick at his accounting job today. He had already reached for a bottle of sake in the refrigerator when Kalinda decided to see herself out. She opened the gate and closed it behind her and didn't dare relax until she was a block away from her house. Even though her father, Gregory, had fits of anger, he never stuck her and rarely yelled at her in public.
Once she deemed the distance safe enough, Kalinda slowed down to a casual walk. She straighted out her backpack and her dress as she continued to walk towards her school. With each step, she prepped herself for school and looked forward to her after school activities. She thought about the public library's hours and tried to plan out the longest possible route from the library to her home.

::Kalinda would see a girl up head of her with almost impossibly long hair pulled back into a braid. the red hair fell to just past her knees, and probably would have been a bit longer except she had it wound around her head once, like a crown. Engel didn't notice anyone coming up behind her as she swung her bag lighlty. this was her last year, she though blissfully. she could handle a new school, she could handle knowing that she'd be ripped away from any friends she made, and she doubted she would, she could handle being "the new kid" this time because it was only one more year...::

Kalinda blinked for a moment as a sudden thought ran through her head. She patted a small pocket on her shirt and realized it was empty, ...I didn't...I couldn't have. She pulled her bookbag off her shoulder and and began frantically searching her bag while she walked. It wasn't like her to be this forgetful. However, the reality of the situation became clear to her as she finished her search. She forgot her mini-purse with all of her money. Kalinda hung her head, How could I forget it...now I don't have any money to buy lunch...unless I can convince one of the students I tutor to give me an advance... Being a tuitor was her main source of income. Although her father had paid for books, meals, and supplies in the past, it was obvious that he hated spending that money. When she suggested that she could pay for her own meals, he seemed pleased.
Today's NOT the day to mention this incident to father... With a sigh, she began reorganizing her backpack. As she griped an eraser she had removed from a side pocket, she mental scolded herself, ...How could you be so stupid! In her anger, she accidently lost her hold on the eraser and it flew in the air towards the girl ahead of her. Kalinda was brought out of her self loathing in time to notice, "Watch out!" Even if it was just a six inch long eraser, it was still flying at someone.

::Engel heard the shout and jerked out of her happy thoughts. without pausing to wonder who had yelled, or who that person was yelling at, she twisted around and caught the eraser out of the air.... then triped over her twisted feet. she threw her hands out in front of her to catch herself, managing to minamize the damage, though the palm of one hand and the knuckles of the hand that had caught the object thrown at her were scratched and starting to bleed slighlty. she lay still for a moment, as though half expecing something else to come flying through the air. when nothing did, she pushed herself up carefully and glared around, trying to find the person that had "attacked" her. all she saw was a girl her own age:: what's the big idea?!
