Nienna smiles then turning fully she plants a loving kiss on Cabel's lips. Pulling back she brushes her fingers along his cheek, she didn't know how else to thank him. Blushing she looks down at Eudora tilting her head "Hmm so where to have you sleep. Cabel got the guest bedroom." she sat down as she bites lightly at the top of one of her nails.
She could have a few of her family members help dig out another room for her. Looking at Cabel she tilts her head watching him for a moment. Why did he feel so unsure about this all?

What was wrong with him? Why did he feel so strange about this situation? It should have been so clean-cut, right? Poor little Fae toddler with no one to care for her...why not take her in?
Why not indeed? One would think that Cabel of all Pae'il would be more or less at ease with strange Pae children appearing out of nowhere. Afterall, the circumstances of his own birth were quite questionable at the least.
Though, as Nienna brought up, there was the issue of where she would sleep.
"I could always stay on the couch if you think it would be okay to give her the bed? Or maybe...I could make a smaller bed for her. Not a crib, she's too old for that and likely to grow quickly if I know young Pae'il. But something small and soft, less likely for her to accidentally fall or roll out of." Cabel wasn't exactly skilled with tools or craftmanship, but there was always a time to learn, right?

Nienna looks up nodding "That might work, I can help you if you like." she bites her bottom lip before she looks down at Eudora. Being intune to everything and everyone on this isle sometimes had its disadvantages. She didn't like the thought of Cabel being confused.
Laying her head on his shoulder she closes her eyes "Cabel if your not comfotable with this even just alittle you can tell me." looking up at him she watch his face. She wanted him to be comfortable.

Cabel sighed, shaking his head slightly as he pulled Nienna closer fondly. "I'm sorry. I don't know what's wrong with me. Trust me, if I knew, I'd tell you. I'd be happy to discuss it with you. Unfortunately, it's just a weird feeling. It's probably nothing."
Kissing her forehead lightly, he leaned back, looking down at both Nienna and Eudora. "I'm sure whatever it is will go away. Promise. For now, let's see what we can do about getting this little lady settled in, okay?" He gave Nienna a half-smile, hoping he could put her worries to rest so that she could stop worrying about him.
Maybe it was just a case of 'too much too quickly.' Here he was, still getting used to the idea of moving in with Nienna and now they had a little one that they were 'adopting?' Yeah, that had to be it. He'd be okay again once things settled down to a slower pace.

Nienna looks at him biting her bottom lip before she smiles nodding. Pulling away she holds her hands out toward Eudora "Yes let get you settle in sweetie." she wouldn't question Cabel anymore. She wanted him to be happy, but at the same time she didn't want to leave the child alone if she didn't have anyone. It wasn't her nature, so she was highly confused at this point.

Sighing, Cabel shook his head tiredly. It wasn't easy living with a woman who could sense any number of things about you without a word or a sign. And this situation wasn't exactly progressing in an ideal manner. Then again, what did in Cabel's life?
"Honey? Wait..." He stepped towards Nienna once more, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "I don't want you to misunderstand me...I'm just not sure how to make my feelings clearer." He looked down, into her eyes hoping that somehow she would understand even if he failed to put his feelings into words. "It's not that I have any particular reservations about this. It's just...a general, but faint discomfort. Like...things are moving too quickly. That's all. I have no intentions of backing down, however. It's just going to take a little time. Once everything slows down a bit, I'm sure I'll be fine again. I swear, love."
Tucking a stray strand of hair behind Nienna's ear, Cabel tried to smile, managing something more genuine this time. He really wanted her to be happy. And perhaps, having this little one around wouldn't be so bad afterall.

Nienna closes her eyes before she shakes her head looking up at him "Cabel its okay, I understand really I do. This is scarying me also, but I can't leave her alone. Its just not in my nature to do that. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable living here at all. I love you, and I want this to work." looking down at the ground she bites her bottom lip before shaking her head.
"If you want to leave I understand." she kept her eyes close trying to not shiver. She really wants this to work out, maybe he was right. That they just needed to relax and gives this time. It was just one of the tense nights with a child showing up.

"Oh, sweetheart...that's not what I meant at all!" Cabel pulled Nienna into a warm hug, resting his cheek against her hair. "I just don't want you to worry about me, right now. That's all," he smiled, closing his eyes as he took comfort in her presence. "Yes, this is a bit much, but I have no intentions of NOT going through with this. She needs us. That much is obvious. I just need a little adjustment time before any of this is going to feel remotely normal! When you think about it, it would be weirder if this didn't feel strange, wouldn't it?"
He kissed her forehead, running his fingers through her hair as he leaned back to meet her gaze again. "We'll do this together, love. I promise that. There is no force the Guardians could summon that would ever cause me to leave your side. Never forget that."

Nienna smiles before she leans up brushing her lips over his "Your right, it would be weird." looking down at Eudora she place the little on down on her feet before standing straight back up. Wrapping her arms around his waist she turns to kiss his neck before chuckling.
Watching the child, a smile forming on her face. She was glad Cabel would be by her side. She was going to need help with this, she knew it. But if they worked together the young one would have a family.

The male Fae wrapped his arms around Nienna, holding her close with a smile. Already, he was starting to feel better. They would work through this somehow...and they would do it together. That was what counted.
Now, little Eudora wasn't happy about being put down. Now she was being left out! How dare they?!? Now there was hugging and stuff going on and here she was sitting on the floor. Well, this just wouldn't do. She had to get some attention again, no matter how it was done. Crawling over to the lady Fae, she grabbed ahold of her ankle and started climbing, or at least trying to climb, up the lady's leg. Let's see her ignore Eudora now!

Nienna chuckles plling out of Cabel's arms, kneeling down she picks Eudora up holding her close "Aww you want attention sweetie." kissing the child's cheek she looks up at Cabel. Okay so she just figure out that trying to cuddle with him was going to be hard. She actually pouts slightly at the thought of not being able to be held by him.

Maybe he'd been spending so much time with Nienna that it was starting to rub off, but Cabel seemed to sense what she was thinking right now. He remained close, looping his arm around her shoulders as he smiled down at the young Fae. "Seems a lot of us want attention, eh?" Grinning, he kissed Nienna's cheek then ruffled Eudora's hair with his free hand.
Now, this was much better! Giggling at Nienna's kiss, Eudora snuggled closer to the older female. When Cabel started messing with her hair, however, she reached up, swatting at his hand. While pretending to be irritated, Eudora was really enjoying all this attention.
Cabel couldn't hide a smile of his own. "She really is adorable," he muttered, leaning his head against Nienna's. "Just like you." Smirking, he planted another kiss on her cheek.

Nienna blushes before she relaxes alittle against Cabel. The little girl did love attention it seems, not that this was a bad thing to her. Slipping away from Cabel she moves to lay across the pile of fur that made her couch. Setting Eudora next to her she giggles slightly "I think she is far cuter then me. I might have to be careful. She might try to steal you away from me when she older." She was joking actually.
Laying on her bad she looks up at Cabel before she mouths 'I love you' to him.

Smiling warmly, Cabel moved to kneel by the couch. He laid his head on Nienna's stomach, looking up and mouthing back, 'I love you too.'
"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that too much," he continued aloud, grinning deviously. "I may like the young ones, but I gotta' draw the line somewhere!" He ducked reflexively, still grinning cheekily, figuring he'd get swatted for that one.
Eudora had no idea what these two were talking about, but she didn't much care anyway. As long as she remained the center of attention, all was well in her world. Then again, she was easily bored. Her attention was quickly drawn to the next shiny or mysterious thing. The closest right now?
That shiny necklace the nice lady wore. Reaching up, she took ahold of the strange-looking leaf pendant, turning it over and over in her tiny hands, studying it closely. "Preeetty..." she finally muttered softly in a distracted manner.

Nienna laughs poking his nose slightly as she shakes her head. She wasn't that much younger then Cabel, at least she didn't think she was. Running her fingers through his hair she glances at Eudora when she picks up her necklace.
She watches Eudora with a smile on her face. She remember when the guardians gave her the necklace, telling her to wear it at all times, and to be very careful with it. She didn't understand what they meant, but she did as she was told.
