My buddy Eliot and myself have a psychedelic folk-noise-jazz-art-acid-rock project going on these days. We are called Turbosloth. Our songs can last up to 45 minutes in length. Songs include "Stegosaurus Cowboy", "Ditch Full of Piss", "The Archer", "Your Grapes Fell on My Grapes", "Snuggly Dew", and a song Eliot wrote by himself about Kinkajous.
We want to cover "China Rider" ("China Cat Sunflower"/"I Know You Rider" by the Dead), also I think we could do "Over the Hills and Far Away" by Led Zeppelin and transition it smoothly into "Heroin" by the Velvet Underground... that would be the s**t. We also play a lot of Ween covers.
If we had a better studio space and if I had a better amp, we could make some extremely ridiculous music.

I'm way into the locals. My favorites are Spellbox, Gainesville Liberation Orchestra and Superjudge. 3nodding
