The Battle. a heartbeat. The Cry. a breath. The Death. a kill. Leowen inhaled deeply, the air smelt of death, always death. Eyelid slowly opened. "Always death, what sins shall we commit today? What unforgivable acts shall we do? To what actions shall damn us to hell? Welcome Death, today is out day to play." Leowen smirked as the bulkhead doors to the Space-time Arena opened. The whistle of the air as it was drained from the bay echoed through the old knight's ears. The bay shield was lowered and Leowen's arm interfaced with the mech's controls. As the cockpit's cameras cleared from the sudden burst of light from the arena, Leowen activated the magnetics on the mech's feet and stepped out into the brightly lit sphere that was the Grand Vanguard Space Battle Arena. Before him stood what seemed to be some oddly shaped mech, portraying a girl wearing a hideous collage of shapes that must have been armor or an attempt at it. "Hm, pathetic." Leowen outstretched his mech's right hand as a blade formed into its palm. Within a moment the blade had materialized into a sword, a dragon running along its back edge and around its handle. The curved tip reflected the stoic face of Viator and then that of its opponent. "Tell me" Leowen started. Viator took a leisurely steped to the side, the magnetics on the bottom of its feet holding it to the ground of the arena, wings tucked neaty behind its back. "Are you willing to die today?" Viator was now slowly circling its opponent mech. "Are you willing to shed blood for this pitiful excuse of a battle?" He was behind the mech now. "Are you willing to burn?"

FAH!! such a pathetic excuse for a warrior you are that you "cry foul & treachery" at my combat skills in a Battlefield. all is acceptable as the enemy will do whatever it takes to subdue and DESTROY YOU!!!
your feeble cries and taunts at my methods are your own Ignorance as in battle there is no true honor its "kill or be killed". (despite this practice session)
*as I power up my Blaster and Pierce your Blade with several shots destroying it*

The observation sequence of Shivas-Edge's test for her literacy in RPing has ended. The results will be tallied from the judges and be posted soon. You two are free to end or continue this match.
Edit: Leowen wishes that he will be judged as well, so if it's not too much trouble, will the judges judge his posts as well?

Literacy - 3 - Allowing a one point increase for not having English as a Primary language. Problems mostly here with trying to use poor lines and foreign languages with minimal knowledge of the language in use. It's fine in sigs, but speak your primary or secondary language while in the RP. No one shots for foreign stuff.
Choice of Action - 2 - Charging up your blaster and firing at the same time........lets take that apart. First off, you charge so you CAN fire. You don't do both at the same time. On a side note, too many actions were taken in the third post. Too control obsessive in attempts to control the battle. However, points were awarded for using Psycho Blaster to wave off multidirectional attack units. Shows practical and logical thought.
Technological Capability - 3 - For the most part, we're fine here. Average ranking in capability, but let's have a look at this introduction. You claim to enter the arena and jump on to Valsione's palm. In your next post, you reveal that you've been hiding on the ceiling. You made no indication to the device projecting the hologram, and it creates a plot hole in your entering the arena. Another problem was that you said your opponent's radar was generating a false signal due to the effects of the hologram. Holograms do not generate electronic interference, and you have no control over your opponent.
Terminology - 4 - No terms used incorrectly. Everything checks out. However, there is no standard for debris sizes. You claim to have an "average" sized piece. Average proportionate to what?
Attitude - 1 - Too negative. Again, points off for sucky dialogue. Point for consistency, to say the very least.
We now return you to the RP in progress. Feel free to contest anything regarding the scores. Scale is graded with a maximum of five points in each catagory.

Literacy - 3 - I saw great effort for her first time at this literate RPing. o_o I appreciate her determination in her attempts, but.. It''s the minor things that kinda bugged me like capitalization and some punctuation. Average post length IMO, so.. yeah. I give her a 3 here.
Choice of Action - 3 - I liked the way how she used Psycho Blaster as well. o_o But.. I take.. minor points off for bringing in a hologram projector. Part of it is my responsibility, so that''s why it''s minor points. As in.. barely a whole. But also making 3 attacks in one post was a bit bad. Also, predestination of saying how you broke Leowen''s sword.. That''s also considered moding in the literate RPs. Still, I give her fair credit for this category.
Technological Capability - 2 - Yeah. Normally, a hologram projector would only be able to produce a hologram image. An illusion. Should not affect the sensors at all. To hide your actual readings on their sensors would require a type of signal jammer. Also, a hologram projector wouldn''t be able to produce it''s own signals for it to make a reading in the sensors. Not to meantion if she were to use a jammer, that it may also affect the signal that projector would have emitted. That was a big technical flaw IMO.
Terminology - 5 - In my standards, I don''t think there was anything that really caught my attention that I should take note of. If there was that misconception of that hologram projector, then part of the point lost has moved to the Technological Capability section instead. They''re both related, so.. yeah.
Attitude - 4 - Finally, Attitude. Being negative can be her character''s personality. Her reasons of fighting can be seen as well from the dialogs with Leowen in mid battle. I think she did well expressing her side of her attitude to somewhat counter what Leowen said. I don''t know her character too much, but I think this match itself was rather deep on both sides. I enjoyed this category from both sides.

Literacy - 5 - Oh, where do I begin? o_o I can easily say that he''s one of the best, if not, is the best literate RPer I have in this whole guild. I say one of the best at first because there is the possibility where one of those inactive people who just doesn''t RP here because they don''t quite RP Sci-Fi might be here. And I have seen other good RPers on Gaia. o.o And.. yeah. As good as how well Leowen did in this match, I have seen better from him. But heck. I''m not sure if I can say that I would be able to do better.
Choice of Action - 4 - Shows no second thoughts. Straight to the action. Knows when to move. He sure didn''t know about Valcione''s Psycho Blaster though. o_o I''m sure that with the right act, a melee offense when you set those orbits might be a good idea, but.. o.o If things went wrong, like the unexpected Psycho Blaster.. yeah. o_o
Technological Capability - 5 - Even after getting his sword destroyed by predetermination, using a good portion of his energy and creating another sword through alchemic means was nice. I just say it gave him an advantage for that predetermination.. Otherwise, he sure does know his own mech. Considering he''s the one that created it. No problems here.
Terminology - 5 - He knows his parts. o_o Do you?
Attitude - 5 - Leowen is DEFINATELY big with his attitude. It''s what makes Leowen himself. o_o And he sure did play out that role nicely in this match.
