Enialis draws his steed to a stop right outside of the the Inn letting it slowly ned right before the post used to tie them. "Gently now Inara we dont want you to throw your old and bewearied master now do we?" His head quickly twists around as he hears the shouting coming from inside the Inn. Quickly drawing the shadows around himself to mask his presence he jumps off of Inara and slips through the door trying to find the altercation.
"Perhaps I will be able to find tonights meal quickly and with a minimum of guilt on my own part if I can find one who is partaking in evil acts."

Damien sighed. Damned humans have forgotten how to treat a woman the last few hundred years or so. In the time he and his love had been together, women were treated as precious and dear. And they treated their men as heroes. Where had that changed?
He swallowed some of the tepid brew, and stood. He still faced the bar, and with his back to the group of men, he used his compulsion to dim the noise of the rest of the bar, and said quietly, "You'll release the woman, and you'll do so now." He didn't use his gift on the man, simply because perversely, he wanted the human to disobey him. He'd been looking for a decent brawl, and several humans may provide a bit of fun. At least a minute or so...
Damien then slowly turned and walked a few paces toward the foul-tempered man. The sight of his meaty fists putting undue pressure on the tiny woman fueled his own fury, but he kept a hold on it. Men of his race often did so, for to fully release their emotions could be disastrous for themselves.
"Last chance," he stated in a hushed voice, noticing the rest of the room was still holding under the compulsion, not taking notice of the goings-on.

Traci took a sigh when she heard the stranger speak and walk over in their direction. Great...another would-be hero... she thought to herself as she gave him a look. She didn't want anyone else to get in trouble with the soldiers outside...her of all people knew what they were capable of...
The leader of the 'pack' that was keeping Traci from leaving turned and looked down at this...hero. He stood at least a foot taller than him.
"You wanna go, little man?" he asked.
"It's okay!" Traci mentioned to the stranger as he looked to be about to fight. Traci had tried to push out of the man's grip as she reached out to stop the would-be brawl, but she was still being held down. She rolled her eyes as pushed the man's hand away. "I said don't touch me." she growled as she turned back to the stranger. "It's really okay, these guys are small time pieces of..." She was going to say s**t, but she didn't get to finish. It would seem smarting off really wasn't the best thing to do at the moment, and she received a punch straight in the jaw that sent her back toward the bar door...which is where she wanted to go in the first place but not like so.
Traci adjusted her jaw a little bit and then looked at the one who punched her. "Now was that really necessary?" she turned to the stranger again. "See? It's all goo..." she started before receiving another blow to the stomach. "Alright, CHEAP SHOT!" Traci breathed out right before she elbowed the same man in the nose, feeling it crack under the hit. The man shouted out and screamed as he grasped his blood nose and backed up.
"See what you ge..." Traci blocked a hit meant for her face, and she realized that the other would-be bounties were closing in on her to attack. She fended a few off with some punches, a slight grin on her face while doing so. Though she couldn't help but keep thinking that she was in for it with the Mages Soldiers now...

Enialis smiles as he watches the brawl develop. "Indeed I think I have found tonights meal after all" He whispers. Letting the shadows drop from around him he calmly walks over to one of the tables and picks up a chair before turning and approaching the fight. Whistling a little ditty to pass the time he swings the chair as hard as he can into the brawl letting fate decide who the unfortunate reciever of the blow would be.

Damien only let the girl get hit for her insolence. He allowed the anger to overspill, and took less than 5 seconds to lock the girl in a protective embrace with one arm, while dispensing all the men by a simple whisper in Carpathian. He leaned down to the girl and said quietly in her ear, "Silence, you'll have your turn."
He released her with a small push behind him, and turned to the humans, first grabbing the taller man by the throat and snapping it, then using his other hand to grab his sword and slice another one's hand off. The scent of blood was overwhelming, and though he hadn't drank in front of others in at lease a decade, he released the dead man, grabbed the man who's hand he'd taken, and pulled him in what could appear to be a lover's embrace... if you didn't look too closely. He pressed his mouth against the mortal's neck, taking a scant second to feel the beat of the pulse against his lips, then shuddered as his incisors lengthened. He pulled back a fraction, opened his mouth widely, and sank his teeth into the human's vein, pulling deeply at the blood.
5 seconds later, and the enemy was drained, his lifeless body on the dirty floor of the pub, and Damien was holding 2 more of them by the throat, intent on killing them, when something smashed against his back, causing him to turn, still holding the men.

Enilis lets a slight grin slip across his face as he lets his fangs extend just enough to be caught by the man he accidentally struck. "My apoligies Sir, I was hoping to strike one of these dirty mortals and while he was out find a dinner of my own. May I lend you a hand in cleaning up this mess? Or if not would you be so kind to at least leave one of them breathing just a bit so I can gather a morsel of my own?" He whispers just loudly enough for it to drift across the distance seperating them, hopefully keeping any mortals from hearing his words he backs away from the confict and takes a seat to watch.

Damien quickly turned. Caught the scent of of the other vampire. A fleeting smile lit his face at the sound of his old friend speaking. "Enilis. It's been long since I've smelled your stench." He ignored the rest of the humans, and stepped into the light more fully, allowing the other to see his face. "I realize it's been centuries... but my appearance has not changed." He smiled and walked to stand at the other one's side. "I think you may want to drink quickly. The girl is a feisty one, and I don't think I wish to be in her presence longer than necessary. She can obviously take care of herself, and does not want interference."

Enialis's grin quickly grows into a full fledged smile. "Damien! How have the years been treating you? You know if I didn't know better I would swear that you had found a way to make them start to go backwards." He chuckles.
Quickly darting in to where the men are standing he picks one of them and pulls them to him before savagely biting down onto their jugular and drinking his fill. Once sated he lets the body drop and turns to face the mortal crowd he lets the power of compulsion build within him before slowly allowing to spill out as he intones a simple word. "Forget".

Damien smiles as the other vampire breaks his compulsion... "Well, I thought only to dim them...You've interfered with their memories. I haven't attempted that one as of yet - fear of consequences and all." He headed back to the bar, picked up the tankard and ordered another from the bartender for his old friend. "I'll have to try it soon. Unless - are there repercussions? Do the mortals ever remember? I've got a mortal concubine in Egypt who may need to froget some.... things." He shrugged, thinking of her. She'd forgive him...eventually. "And if I'm looking well, you're looking twice as such. Such clothing. Where've you gotten style? Last I saw, it was animal hides and bones for clasps." Damien laughed, recalling centuries past. He hadn't seen or even felt the presence of another of his ilk for longer than he cared to remember.

Enialis chuckles "Well we do all go though our time where we feel like there is some atonement that is called for all things considered. I just got tired of looking like a holy hermit. We both know that I am far from that though. I simply stopped to pay a visit to a Lord and courted his Daughter long enough to get some finery. I must admit it is nice to be reintroduced to well done clothing. Nothing quite chaffs one in all the wrong spots like a little wolf hide believe you me."
He picks up the tankard and takes a long drink before continuing. "As for their minds, why bother yourself with it? While a select few of them may be chosen to bring new blood into the family so to speak, most are woefully destined to be little more then cattle. A nigh endless supply of fresh meals that can be set to rest for a few days and be back to full strength none the less. I have yet to encounter one who does recall the instances."
"So tell me is the taste different in Egypt? I would think that the diet of the culture would influence it to a degree."

At his friend's comments, Damien recalled why he tended to distance himself. Different masters and ancestors led to different points of view. His friend was a bit less soulful than Damien, which was not a point he liked to dwell on. Damien often lamented the fact that he felt things a bit too deeply sometimes. It would never stop him from drinking, but he did worry about what would happen to his soul in the end.. there were other considerations beside himself. This may not be true for Enilis, however. Damien lived in constant worry that some wrongdoing on his part may cause Morgana to threaten his soul-half, and this had to be avoided. "Well, glad it is I am that you look and obviously feel so well. Did you eat your intended?" He snickered. "And the blood is a bit... more full-bodied. But on to other things.. are you here for the Mage's son? I needs warn you.. he's mine first. There are some things that require my attention, and you may have him... after." He looked to the side at another woman, sitting and sipping ale. Lovely, he thought, then turned back to his old friend.

A slight smile flashes across Enilais's face. "Nay, I have yet to decide to bring another into our lifestyle. I mean think on it me a parent? HA, The newborn would hardly last a week before I got frustrated and left."
He glances over his shoulder before returning to the conversation. "I am not here for the son at all. I am currently engaged in a bit of soul searching you might say. The same beliefs do tend to get ever so droll after a hundred years or so. I decided to do a bit of travelling and see what the humans are up to. Who knows I might find a few that force me to recant my view of them as a whole. That would bea truly wonderous day indeed. They would have to be shining examples of what it is to be human though. If you would liek though my friend I am more then willing to back you up in a fight if you want. Its been awhile since there was a good tussle to take part in.

Damien nodded. He was a loner, never traveling with companions.. not since... But this might prove to be a bit of fun. "I thank you for your offer. A decent sized fight is coming - though we both know it means little in the grand scheme of things...Being alone is necessary to our family branch, but it couldn't possibly harm to have one such as you on my side. And where the humans are concerned... I've met a few women. Good ones. But after all these millenia, I've only come across one male of the species who was any good at all. And they crucified him. Humans are more soulless than we, my brother. I wish you luck." He finished off the tankard, and felt his skin tingle. Dawn was near. "If you're looking for pureness... look to children. Small ones. Try not to eat them.," Damien laughed. "Have you a place to sleep? I've decided to go to earth this sleep. I've some wounds that need healing, and nothing is better than the earth for such."

"I have yet to look for a place ot bed down for the night though it has been awhile since I slept inside the Mother. Have you perhaps found a safe local?" He motions for the barkeep and slides him more then enough coin to cover the cost of a stable for the day.
"My steed is out front she answers to the name Inara give her the very best service you have I will return to pick her up tonight after I finish my business around town."

Damien raised his eyebrow, "Why pay the cost of the stable?" He waved his hand at the bartender, sending out a strong compulsion. I've paid more than enough. You need nothing from me, or my friend here. Or the slip of a woman to my left. We've paid for her as well. "I've got a secure area just south of here, in the forest... But we must leave now. I can feel the sun, and I'm not yet able to withstand it much longer than a few minutes without debilitating pain. The sleep is beginning to come, can you not feel it?" He stood and began to head out, sending a look at the woman he had tried to help.
