The latter, probably.
I hold onto my dreams too, but I don't dream about storylines. I dream about places. The people in them are second to where they are, and I rarely dream about people I know anyway.
So it's a greatly different experience, I guess...

And no...I did not sacrifice the match. Thinking about it carefully, and quickly in the dream, I figured well sacrifice the match and Kai and I never get to compete again most likely. However, ruin Kai's rep...well...eventually it would have been ruined anyway and I figured it'd be best to face Kai's wrath now when he is half-asleep. Less painful you see. Hee hee.
Yes...I was a little sneaky.
Anyway, when i got to the colesseum everyone was stunned to see Kai asleep on my back like he was. Well...the shoulder.
Max elbowed Rei and whispered, "I guess we know who we are getting the toaster oven for next...hee hee hee."
Rei looked to Max angrilly and whispered, "Cut that out! You want Kai mad at all of us, now zip it!"
Kai then began to stir and said groggily..."wha...? Oh no...Dee we're not...back at the stadium, are we?"
I gulped and let Kai down off of me. He then realized that yes, we were at the stadium. He figured as much he couldn't hide that he was getting all that close to me, so this was something else that Kai never normally does...he grabbed the microphone out of DJ's hand and said, "Yes, I am in love, happy?!"
The crowd looked at each other in confusion for a moment then cheered! Kai and I got to do our other two matches back to back and as expected Kai won. Kai then walked up to me after the match and said, "You aren't half-bad Dee. You can actually hold your own out there longer than most opponents. For that, you have my gratitude for not utterly humilitating my career. Now lets get out of here before my rep goes totally down the drain in terms of my social life."
I laughed and said, "Right behind you Kai."
And that's when I woke up.
Yes, I agree that was quite the dream. Now...a question for you guys...do you think I should be relaying these dreams in an RP manner? Or...are they fine here?

empress dee How is this relevant to what I was talking about? If your relaying-of-dreams were put onto a fanfic website, the majority of the community would go 'pffthahahaha' at Kai being so blatantly OOC, and you/your character being somewhat Mary Sue-like in nature. That's why we're toying with you now, because while dreams are all nice and good, they're plainly in the realm of complete fantasy. Dreams are your subconscious telling you something... about yourself, and your previous experiences in life. Reality check, please.

Hey....I thought there was no trolling allowed in this guild! And isn't making fun of other people toying with their beliefs trolling?
Yes, I admit my dreams are pure fantasy, but you are the one needing the reality check! People do exist in every walk of life. Just because they live in a world where we sleep, isn't where we sleep a part of us too...a part of our reality. Or do you not believe in Kai? Here's a question...how real is Kai to you all? And answer honestly! If you think he is just a stupid cartoon, then you disgrace being a fan of Kai. I believe that Kai does live. Maybe he does not live in our waking world, but so what? Isn't our guild based on the fact that we love Kai no matter what form he takes? Whether it be a mule in the guild or a person we see on tv. We see him, we hear him, to me that spells real. So, unless your eyes and ears fail you...then you are the one needing the reality check bud.

*sigh* Kai is a fictional character... he was made up. Maybe there is some parallel universe where all the fictional characters roam but whatever...
I'm sure Zii does not need a reality check, she is just pointing out facts, not trying to intentionally cause disruption which is what trolling is.
And just thinking that he is a cartoon is nothing to be disgraced about. Please DO NOT try to insult the rest of the fans in this guild.
And no one is making fun of you. They are just pointing out the OOCness of Kai in your dreams and likeness it is to Mary-sue centered fics. Probably something many of us don't like *shrugs*.
I look at dreams as though they are a place of ideas... and entertainment. Nothing more. If you live in yours dreams, and this is not directed at anyone, but you are the one who needs a reality check.

So, like a fanatic crazy religious person, you tag me as 'not a fan' because I know that Kai's just a few hordes worth of animation cels stuffed away in some old warehouse?
Even though I have drawn countless Beyblade fanarts, interacted with a grand portion of the community, collected the entire manga, worn a Joescarf, etc... EVER SINCE IT STARTED IN AUSTRALIA (2002).
You ask any Bey fan who is into the artistic side of the community, and they'll know of me, and they'll tell you that I certainly am a (mostly) respectable and TRUE fan of the show and manga, and a variety of the characters within.
Kai lives, but he's not a living, breathing person. Anywhere. He's alive through the people who draw him, and write about him, and roleplay him... and that goes on until he's hundreds of years into the past and nobody cares to remember Beyblade.
He still physically never lived, though. neutral And that's my gripe with your deluded fantasy.

I think Lainy and Zii have both summed up my point nicely but I do so love speaking for myself. besides- the rules of this guild say THE RULES No flaming, bashing, fighting, etc - be polite and respectful to your fellow KHFGuildians. Zii telling you to get a reality check in this instance I think is rather justifiable. IT WAS A DREAM. I once had a dream where I had to get past grenade throwing mice by pelting them with grated cheese (no joke) I don't take it as bible. You saying that because we take Kai as a rather well put together bunch of pixels with a killer creator we aren't true Kai fans I, personally, find insulting. Also, when you accuse people of breaking the guild rules- please remember that Lainy and I wrote them? (Well, Lainy mostly, I was there in the moral support sense) If we feel that someone is breaking the rules in a discussion we are personally involved in we WILL deal with it. Especially if the erson who breaks them is one of us. ^^ Have a nice day.

Now, Kai's girlfriend. Back on topic.
I'll see if I can piece together my perfect image of Kai's girlfriend. I'm going to ignore the fact that I think Kai would prefer a boyfriend. ANYWAY.
I don't think looks would matter taht much- just confidence in those looks. I don't think a shy wallflower would seriously attract Kai's attention no matter how much of a stunner she was.
I've already covered the 'does not piss Kai off' basics However, let's go into the finer details because I'm bored and have time to fill. I don't think Kai would go for any of that 'I understand you' crap. Or any crap in general.
To my mind Kai is a very cynical person and so anyone who says that they're there just for him he'd take as a load of bs. However, I think that if she proved it then she'd be getting somewhere.
Someone who either has no knowledge of his reputation or doesn't care that he's a rather elite sports person would also be in that criteria. I know that Kai wants to be the best but I don't think that titles come into it. I think he just wants the knowledge in himself taht he is the best and not have to fight for it.
Um... I've run out but I will be back with more when I feel like writing again
