"Uhm...I'm April," she supplied with a slight smile. April was impressed by the Ulaya's ability to stay somewhat friendly in the miserable heat. "Oh, and I'd love to take you up on that water offer..." she added, a bit sheepishly. Taking from others wasn't something that she felt good about doing.

Kiki takes out a fresh bottle of water as she had 3 around her wist. "Here. You can take this one. Its fresher." She said with a smile. "Apirl.. Thats a beautiful name. My name is Kiki." She smiled.

She took the water bottle, nodding gratefully. "Thanks...and why are you out on such a disgusting day? You seem like you planned for it, anyways..." April twisted the cap open, drinking some and pouring most of the rest over her head, letting it wash over her.

"I'm use to hot heat like this.. So, I'm not actally hot... I'm warm..." She said as she walks by a stream, getting more water in her water bottle. "You must have been hot, huh?" She asked.

"What? Why?" she asked, rather shocked that the heat didn't seem to be frying anyone else but her. April took a sidelong glance at the stream, giving it the kind of look a cat might give a mouse right before it pounced. She embraced the feeling of the cool droplets of water running through her fur, probably sweaty and matted...no, she decided she didn't even want to think about it. Her muscles tensed; April was deciding whether or not to just jump into the stream headfirst...or at least appear somewhat sane. Nope, screw sanity, she decided, leaping into the stream, despite its not being very deep.

"I don't really know.." She said as she runs and jumps in the stream with April. "But, I love the warm weather." She swim in a circle as a rock kept hiting her on the back. "What the?" She looks at the golden rock in the stream. "Is this what I think it is?" She thought it was gold but how could there be gold in this stream?

"Wow, lucky you," April replied with a raised brow. She waded around a bit, splashing the water onto herself. April tilted her head to the side, not seeing anything special in the river. "What is it?"

Kiki stares at the golden object. "I think its... its gold!" She said as she looks down harder at it. "It has to be gold. Unless its jewelery..." She tilts her head and pokes it. She starts to dig. "Its a big shiny rock!" She said. She held it up and she was right, it was a shiny golden rock. She dips it in the streams and lyies it on the ground.

April watched Kiki dig the chunk up from the sand in the river. Why would there be gold here?, she asked herself, despite her not being very interested in jewels, gold, jewelery, or anything of the like. She blinked at it, sniffing at it for a quick second. "That's weird. So what're you going to do with it?" she asked, knowing she probably wouldn't have even bothered to pick it out of the stream if she'd been the one to spot it.

Kiki looks at the golden rock then April. She thinks about what she was going to do with it. "Hmm.. Do you want it? I really don't need a peice of gold someone won't use." She said as she looks at the rock. Beginning to look like a Ulaya.

"I don't know what I'd do with it, either..." April mused, wondering what really could be done with a hunk of gold. While it was probably valuable, she wasn't aware of very practical uses for it.
She sunk down into the water, so that only the top half of her head wasn't enveloped in the water. Embracing the gentle current of the river, she continued to think about the nugget.

Kiki srugs and puts the gold nugget by a tree. She laies on her back and drift with the stream. "I wonder if we could sell if for real money." She said as she stares at the nugget.

April rose so that her head was above the water. "You could always try." A quiet bubbling noise came from her belly, causing April to look down at it expectantly. I guess I'm hungry. "I'm going to go find something to eat," she told Kiki. "Actually...I wonder if there's anything around here in the first place..."

Kiki looks at April. "I know a great place to get some hot fresh food! She yelled. "But we have to go to town for it. Is that okay with you?" She asked as she got out the stream and dries off. She hid the golden nugget in a posion bush so no one could get it.
