Arr, I've neglected to put up pictures of my weapons. I'll have some in the next couple of days.
Also, I'll be getting a very nice Bo Staff on ebay this week. I normally don't like blue, but it looks cool on this. I'll have a picture or two of me breaking stuff with it when I get it.

Bo Staffs are fun. I only know how to use one performance wise though. Like all the twirling and stuff like that.
The one I use at Tae kwon do is very light weight with thin wood. I'm assuming yours will be more heavy duty.
And I'd love to see pics of your stuff. I find weaponry very interesting even if I'm not very good with it.

The one I'll be getting is actually pretty light in weight. It's 1.5 lbs, and it's 5 feet long. It's 1 inch thick in the middle and tapers to 5/8 of an inch on the ends.
My next training session with my friends won't be for a couple of days due to the sheer cold. (I don't mind it, they freeze solid.) When I do train next I'll have one of my fangirls take some pictures.
(You don't get the crotch shots.)

Oh really? I figured yours would be a bit stronger. You must have harder wood or something. The one I use is simply a competition bo staff. [As I believe my TKD instructor calls it.] Just for show. It's wood is pretty soft and it's pretty lightweight. It's not very good for breaking stuff though as you mentioned you would be doing.

I don't actually know how strong it'll be yet, but if it's as strong as the spools I use to mount my scrolls, I'll have no problem breaking things.
The ninja market near where I live sells some pretty fancy competition bo staffs. They're plastic with shiny paper, so they look cool when you twirl them. Nothing good for hurting people though.

I see.
And yeah, that sounds about close to what I'm describing. Just I think cedar wood with a laminate though. And a ninja market? It's actually called that? That'd be pretty sweet to go to.

Yeah, it's pretty good for shurikens, swords, and nunchucks, but not much else. Oh yeah, and armor.

Here's the deal: I won't ask about your spandex ninja outfits if you don't ask about my nunckuck or bo staff mishaps. Haha.
Deal?

[Munin] I'll tell you what you shouldn't ask about. My ten-million old spandex ninja outfits. I immediately thought of Rock Lee's / Gai's fugly green jumpsuits as I read that. xd Anyway, what do you mean by "ninja market" or a lot of the stuff you say? With this whole thread, you kept talking about "your clan , scrolls, etc." I understand that you practice weaponry, but when you say this, are you just talking about the stuff you got from E-bay and your friends (From "clan" and the various weapons, respectively),or are you pretending to be a "ninja"? I believe your story, but I just wanted to make sure. domokun

Ninja market - a store a while away from my house that sells ninja tools. My clan - a group of "gangsters" that specialize in ninjutsu arts. Scrolls - long paper mounted on wooden spools with enigmatic kanji text summerizing a fighting style. And yes, I do really practice with these weapons. We have targets set up in various people's yards, and training grounds in the woods. I've been training extensively in taijutsu for three years, but I'm reletively new in some other areas.

Well, as long as you don't try to build your Chakra, I'm cool with the fact that you're a modern-day ninja. lol
