Well i've got a Boss Bass Overdrive and Bass Chorus, Brilliant
love em both, sound great together

all i'm looking for now is a Whammy Pedal, (raises and lowers octaves and such)

and i was thinking a Wah but all the Bass wahs i've played not on a Multi Effects pedal is Spring Loaded, which really puts me off, cos i used to play guitar a little, and i like the Normal Wah, and i havnt found a Crybaby for Bass like that yet

hmm, and i was thinking Synth, but the ones i've played i havnt got a sound i really like out of them, more like a weird kind og Distortion, i was hoping something along the lines of the Spinal Tap Big Bottom Synth sound

and i was prob gonna get a Limiter too, and an EQ maybe, or a pedal just for a volume/gain boost

so much to choose, but first i'm gonna get one fo those Boss recording things... there really cool
I'm pretty sure that my Crybaby Bass Wah isn't spring-loaded.

What Model do you have?

cos all the ones in the stors are White and Spring Loaded, its annoying cos i really prefer Normal Wahs
Alright, I need to clarify, then. I thought when something is spring-loaded, it automatically bounces back into position.

But mine is..Normal, in that pushing it down results in it Activating, and lifting up stops the noise.

I assume by Normal, you mean like a Guitarist Wah, that requires being clicked on and off.

souns kinda like an Expression Pedal.

and yes i mean like a Guitar Wah, you have to stomp it to turn it on then stomp it to turn it off

all the ones in the stores are spring loaded, you dont stomp it to turn in, you just have to push it foreward a little and when you take your foot off it springs back.

i dont like them

Why so? I think it's MUCH easier than a Guitar Wah. All that clicking and extreme tone changing.

i'd recommend a russian big muff, try to pick one up on ebay for 50 and look around for a boutique chorus pedal

but if i were you and depending on your amp/bass situation i'd invest in a compressor or a eq pedal

Well for a Wah I've only been exposed to them as a Guitarist Pedal, i have even played a guitarists wah through my bass, (it was cool) then they told me they made bass wahs, i thought it was gonna be exactle the same bassically

but i'm just alot more used to the Guitarist Wah

i want a Whammy Pedal (goes up an octave or Down An Octave)

Otis, the bass in our Jazz Band, has a great Whammy pedal he bought pretty cheap from what I've heard...

I just can't remember what brand it was...

I'm hoping to be the bass next year and give up the tenor spot...

Maybe I'll switch to tenor in Concert, bass in Jazz, and clarinet in Marching...

(Holy Mooned Jesus, I'm off-topic again...)

So... Buh bye...
