The book is a disgrace to all writers in the world. The world is corrupt enough as it is without it. Joining your army *weilds dual chainsaws of grammar and spelling*

You guys are going to be mad at me, but in some ways, I think he's right. I haven't been around here very long, but a lot of people become furious in this guild when someone makes a small typo, perhaps a small error in reading something. Some people go back and look at their words and correct them after posting. It may defeat the purpose of the preview button, though. Whatever works for them. It's a book title. It doesn't upset me that they'd use it for some odd reason...you know, just a book for me. Now, if that was the same as the inside pages as well as the cover, I would feel..insulted to say the least. I haven't read it, so I can't judge it to be good or bad. I'm not an elite person. I am female, and pretty ugly at that. I don't claim to be a snob, either. I do place an emphasis on correct spelling when trying to make a point or getting a job, yet if you'd talk to me outside of this guild, I'd be thrown out since I'm "on both sides of the fence". They should practice good grammar on their own everyday, but have fun with it, too. Then again, we have people in this guild right now who claim to be literate, but they turn around and use the "no0b/txt-tlk" speak in their posts here. Shouldn't we do something to stop them? And if we move to do this, how can we? I have no solutions to this question yet. What about people who make their own words? Are they seen as bad, too? Perhaps we shouldn't be so up-tight about it...you know, learn to laugh at our own mistakes as well as others. The general population will do what they want. If they want to be "illiterate", then that just means better jobs for those who are "literate". I don't think I should talk....I mean...there was an RP that I was supposed to make...but because of my lack of making one in that style, it's somewhat dead. sweatdrop I'm getting off my soap-box right now. I'm probably one of the most hypocritical members here.

Actually, no, it's not horrible. You've never heard of 'TTYL' or the sequel, 'TTFN'? They're very good books - written in instant messages. Not too much txt tlk and very good plots!
I refuse the protest! 3nodding
