Millie fluttered in slowly, dipping in the air as she was obviously carrying something very heavy. She hummed happily as she turned the corner, but the instant she seen what disarray her living room was in, and the pae'il still destroying it, she gasped heavily and dropped her cargo on the floor.

The cargo is a flask of warm, clear liquid. The Flask is a special flask that is indestructible, so it does not break when it hits the floor. As a matter of fact, it lands right side up even, not spilling a drop.

Millie knows whenever a Pae'il will be coming over for a special brew, and she knew these two were coming. She just did not know exactly how they acted. She questioned her crystal ball, wondering if these two pae'il really are ready for this brew or not.

Scared for her safety, considering her size compared to theirs, and their obvious intimidating looks, she fled to her bedroom and locked the door to keep them out.

Dagen heard the thing fall behind her and the gasp from the little old faerie and turned, scared herself that they'd gotten caught.

She stood quickly and turned when she seen the tiny fae and grinned at her, licking her lips a little bit. That might have been the look that frightened Millie so much.

When Millie fled, Dagen lunged for her, wondering what little sparkly buggies tasted like. For being so old lookin, Millie was quick! Dagen missed, but she managed to tackle that flask Millie had dropped. She sniffed at it a bit, curious if it was water or what. She smiled, pleasantly surprised that this brew smelled so sweet. Like nectar! "Slik, wanna try some?" She held it up, wanting him to sip first, considering she didn't want to die if it was bad.

Warslik moved over and took the flask from Dagen, sniffing it testingly, before taking a sip, well it was more a sip, more of a guzzle, before breaking it from his lips and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "Mmmm... Goooood..." He grumbled happily. "Very yummy, sweet, like fruit plant," He nodded his head, holding the flask to Dee, it still had half it's contents, and she was welcomed to the other half, Warslik wasn't thristy anymore. For some odd reason...

When Dagen seen that Warslik didn't drop dead immediately and actually enjoyed the sweet smelling liquid, she quickly snatched the flask from his hands. "Gimme that!" She sniffed it one more time, still unsure about this drink. Something in the back of her head kept telling her she'd regret this more than anything ever in her life.

Oh well, sweet smelling nectar is sweet tasting nectar so she, like Warslik, chugged the rest of it.

"Mmm, that was ... goooooood." she urbed a little bit and laughed then threw the flask on the ground. She felt a little funny inside all of a sudden.

Warslik grinned at Dee. He leaned in, and bit her face!

Well to be accurate, he really didn't BITE her. He pressed his lips on her's mainly because he was in a rather bemused state of mind, and he liked the flavor of necter stuff, and it was making him a little heady to be honest. Even as Dee felt funny, he didn't feel quite as funny. Smirking when he was finished "biting" her he chuckled.

"Mmmm... Dee is tasty, another think me like about Dee," He laughed, his tail flicking gently to and fro.

Dagen was not feeling like herself after drinking that ... that ... POISON! That had to be what she drank! She felt like she was just gonna die eventually now.

Warslik pulled a Warslik ... AGAIN! And tasted her lips. Why in the world did he always feel the need to do that? Dagen was about to react just like she usually did, with a firm fist to Warslik's jaw, but something stopped her. Something in her mind, and altho she'd deny it, in her heart. She ... liked it? No ... she couldn't have. She struggled for a few seconds with how she felt versus what she knew.

Wanting to just go home now, thinking she was gonna die and Warslik's cooties were going to make things worse, she started standing up. Feeling a bit wobbly, she nearly tumbled over, but caught herself when she reached out and grabbed Warslik's arm. She looked up, her eyes catching his and that strange feeling inside only got worse. Stupid Slik cooties ...

Dagen closed her eyes and leaned into Warslik, pushing her lips to his. She didn't know why she did this, and she'd deny it to anyone that asked, but its what felt ... right.

Warslik was shocked for a second there, he thought he was going to get socked in the jaw like usual! But this was definatly a animal thing of a different color! His arms moved to wrap around her back gently as he too leaned into the kiss, finally realizing what his dreams were talking about now, and a few things clicking into place in his head.

Sooooo this was what biting her face was supposed to really be like. Warslik had to admit, he rather liked it, he rather liked it a lot. It made his chest feel funny, but he realized that was Just Dee's cooties eating his cooties again, they always made him feel funny!

But now they were working over time! His heart was beating faster and faster, and it felt like it was skipping beats as Warslik became more and more bemused and entranced with Dee as the kiss wore on. In fact, he was downright twitterpated, and he didn't want the kiss to end, for fear that Dee would sock him in the jaw anyway... Tho, he had to admit... He rather liked it when she hit him.

Dagen felt Warslik's hands on her back and she trembled slightly. It was so bizarre! She had that weird feeling in her chest when she was a teenager, and Slik would look at her in that funny way, or even when he'd accidently brush against her, but that was nothing to how she felt right now. She was scared, more than anything, because she felt vulnerable. Her tough act was gone, the emotional wall she had built up so well was crumbling.

She was feeling a new emotion. One she didnt' know at all, and that scared her as well. As she continued to kiss Warslik with her eyes closed so tight, a couple tears managed to sneak by, and slide down her cheeks. She wanted to stop, to run away and never have to face Warslik again. She was mad that he made her feel this way. She wanted to just beat him up and hide forever!

But ... at the same time, she wanted to stay in his arms forever.

She couldn't help herself and she felt out of control of her actions. But she wasn't fighting it too much. She leaned more into Warslik, slipping her hands slowly around him, letting her fingertips drift, actually ... feeling his skin, sensing his heartbeat, and realizing exactly what Warslik is. He's not just her little toy, or her lackee, or the thing that follows her around. He's real, he's her friend. And he's very important to her.

With all these conflicting emotions battling in her head, she only had one hope: she wished she wasn't gonna die now after drinking that poison.

Warslik was feeling such elation as he had never felt before. This feeling of closeness to Dee was something he'd been looking for since when he became a teen, since he'd gotten to notice the changes in Dee, how different they were. He honestly felt strong, stronger than Dee at his moment, but he wasn't about to let that go to his head.

The fact that Dee was not figihting against him made him feel really, really good about this. For one thing, he knew Dee liked him the way he liked her. Two, Warslik had come to realize that that made him very, very happy and it was all he could do to not jump for joy.

But that would interrupt this very, very wonderful moment, and Warslik was not about to do that if he could help it in any way. His eyes were shut tight, he could not see Dee's tears, and seeing them would have made his chest hurt more, for he never wanted to see Dee hurting. Warslik realized now what his purpose was.

He followed her around so much because he loved her, as he'd grown, especially during his time as a teen he'd come to realize the strange, cootie induced feeling in his chest had a very strong meaning. Bix had been no help on the subject, his kind did not mate in the same sense that Dee and Warslik did, so the imp's concept of love was a little skewed. Warslik had come to learn by himself, that the reason he stayed near Dee, was because of this very moment. The teases, the taunts, the beatings, all worth it for this one sigular moment. The teases, the taunts, and the future beatings? Oh, they would be worth it too, for moments like this.

Warslik, LOVED Dee, even if he didn't know the word to express the emotion that was about to burst his heart open through his chest. He wanted to stay by her side forever, to watch her, to protect her when her own defenses failed. He wanted to raid places with her, knock things over, break things, and just be a public nuisance with her.

Truth be told, he wanted to gather up all this fluff and take it back to their den, use it to build them a big soft nest-bed, and snuggle with Dee for a good long while, and just be with her. Because Dee was soft, she smelled nice, and she was very, very pretty.

Warslik's hands finally settled on the small of Dee's back, his fingers gently working into it. He allowed himself to let out a gentle murr into the kiss, to let her know how much he liked it. Liked her.

If love could shine, Warslik would have been a sun.

Dagen, being more animalistic than civilized, acted more on her instincts and feelings, than on logic. She'd never been in a situation like this, never experienced the emotions that went along with it either. She could feel growls building up in the back of her throat. More animalistic feelings were starting to overcome her, and she grew more worried. These desires she could feel building up were very strange to her.

Her fear was starting to take over, and the only way Dagen knew how to deal with her fear, was to get mad and take it out on Warslik. She opened her eyes and quickly pulled herself back, away from Warslik. She panted heavy, not realizing how much she'd been holding her breath. "Slik! Don't do that ever again!" She shouted at him. Well, she tried to shout, but it came out squeaking and broken up. Hardly something anyone would take seriously. "That was poison and I am gonnd DIE! I need'ta get home and lay down."

She needed to distract her thoughts because now, all she could think about Warslik, and doing that again, and again, and again. She shook her head, hoping to shake the thought out one of her ears. "Scoop up the fluffins and lets go." she told him as she started scooping up some herself.

Warslik smiled, "Okay," He said and started to scoop up the fluffins, gathering as much as he could in his arms, the smile never leaving his face. Oh he knew that sort of thing would happen again. She'd not hit him, nor thrown something at him, so obviously she wasn't serious about it. Besides she had been the one who had started the second kiss, so he'd start the third, maybe she'd start the fourth... and so on.

Grinning from ear to ear, he gathered up as much fluffins as he could and finally said. "Dee, I gots all the fluffins I can gets, we go?"

Dagen nodded, trying to hold back her smile as well. She felt different now. Not like herself, but still happy. She felt new things regarding Warslik as well, but she blamed the poison for that, for now.

And not once did it even occur to her to hurt Warslik right now.

With her arms full as they could be of couch-innards, she headed out the open door. Her hips sway causing her tail to lazily drift back and forth behind her. She glanced over her shoulder once, to see if Warslik was far behind, and if he was looking, he would have caught a genuine smile, and new twinkle in her eye.

Warslik was following, he was watching, and he saw her smile. He smiled back, and moved quickly to walk with her, after all, it wouldn't do him any good to lag behind now. He felt that they were, at least for now, equals in whatever would come to them.

Together they could do anything!
