My first "date" ended really badly. So badly that only one person in this guild knows about it. And it's much worse than you're thinking, trust me on that.
And I didn't get my first kiss until 18. And honestly, I don't like kissing that much. Didn't have sex until 18.5, and sex is completely overrated. I hate it, and would prefer not to do it again. Needless to say, I and the bf ******** like bunnies while we were together, but that didn't change my opinion of sex being boring and stupid and a waste of time, unless you count it as exercise. Then it might have some merit.
So far, every guy I've met that I've had some psychological relationship to is older than I am and still a virgin. I know a 30something year old virgin, a 20 year old virgin, and a 22 year old virgin. All the girls I've had some sort of relationship to are either one year older, my age, or ... younger, and all of them save one or two have had sex multiple times.
Does this skew my perception of stereotypical sex/gender behaviors? Sure as hell does.
About pacts... Well. Most of them are stupid. Not so much the pact itself, but rather the dedication to get the pact done. For example, there are girls out there who will say they're going to get married when they're 18 or something, and then they get married to some a*****e that will marry them JUST so they can fulfill their goal.
But pacts in general, usually can be a good thing. When I was in middleschool I said I'd publish a book by 18(I think). I started writing my book, got it done, got a few awards(from school, not actual ones), then I realized as soon as I tried to publish it that writing wasn't for me.
It wasn't that I got a horrible review - quite the opposite, actually - it was that I read over my own stuff a year or so later and figured out it wasn't something I wanted to do as a career. I never did get published, but that was moreso because I stopped trying because by the time I was looking for publishers, I'd lost the ambition.

I've never gone out on a date, and I'm a sophmore now. I don't care much about dating and such so long as I can work on my art and book. My mom is going to have me go to winter formal soon. If someone doesn't ask me to the dance, I could care less; I have friends I can go with. :3

I've never gone on a date, nor have I ever been kissed. Nobody's ever even asked me to go on a date ._. I'm just not the type of person that guys like. I'm right in between being a tomboy and a girly girl, for I don't like sports or action video games nor do I like makeup or shopping. The only reason people even know my name is either they're one of my few friends, a relative, or they know me for my grades alone. I've only ever had a crush on 2 people, one of which I gave up very quickly after reilizing that I didn't actually like him the way I though I did, and the other I've had for two years and still have to this day, though I'm much too afraid to tell him.
My opinion on dates? Well, they sound like fun, although I would hate it if it was too stressful or had too many odd silences. But a date like going to a movie or amusement park sounds like something that would be fun. But I don't know, I really couldn't say since I've never actually ever experienced one.
